Enjoy the surroundings of a 19th century farmhouse (built in 1863) and artist’s studio, featured internationally in home design magazines. The property has been recognized with a special award from San Francisco Beautiful.
Artists Inn is nestled in an area of Victorian homes in one of San Francisco’s most desirable and exciting neighborhoods, Pacific Heights. This quiet and comfortable inn has been carefully restored and preserved.

Your host, Denise Shields, together with her artist husband, Bill, spent the past twenty-five years creating an atmosphere of quiet elegance, charm, and comfort.
Bill, a celebrated artist and beloved teacher, passed away in 2010 but his legacy lives on in the original artworks that adorn the walls of the Artists Inn.
