Artesanias Unique Home Furnishings

My husband and I moved from NYC to San Fran and our furniture got delayed in transit. We moved into our new place with one air bed and 2 suitcases! After Unilocaling and seeing Artesanias Unique Home Furnishings, we were not disappointed!
Craig (the owner) sat with us one on one as we walked into the store, frazzled, talking about couches, futons, pullouts, etc. He helped us gather our thoughts, figured out with us what we need vs what we want, and what is the best time frame.
In the end, we left the store at 3 pm and had a new, absolutely amazing and comfortable couch and carpet delivered into our living room. Due to our time constraints and lack of sleeping accommodations, Craig delivered everything himself, just so we can be more comfortable for the coming night.
We were so happy with his service, knowledge, expertise and professionalism, we will be getting all our furniture pieces from him in the future! Can’t wait to go shopping again!

My history with Artesanias:
2007: Bought a sectional from them for $ 2200. It was a massive 5 cushion L shape, retailed approx $ 3500 at Pottery Barn or the like. Craig delivered for free.
2012: Re-​sold same sectional on CL for a great price. It looked brand new, like the day it arrived, cushions still firm, no sign of sagging or fading. Was very sad to part with this awesome sofa, everyone loved napping on it, including me!
2013: Bought 2^nd custom sofa from Artesanias for my much smaller studio. Dan helped me pick out the upgraded fabric. Craig advised on the leg & wood stain colors. It arrived 5 weeks later as promised. $ 50 delivery fee. It was $ 1000 less than a similar Room & Board one I originally wanted, and better quality fabric too.
TODAY: I am a happy customer, ready to recommend anyone to Artesanias. They have an extensive selection, excellent prices, and great styling advice. Dan is friendly and not pushy, Craig is a wealth of ideas.

Certainly doesn’t sound like the same store anymore! Shop was in disarray with merchandise precariously placed. Even the salesperson (owner?) pushed something off his table while checking the computer (which I quickly picked up from the floor for him).
He took hours to check pricing and discounts for the items I wanted.
My bag accidentally hit a table lamp which crashed to the floor giving me a shock. He insisted I had to pay for it. We agreed on half and I left the shop first… only to find out later that he made my husband pay the full amount coz we’re not buying from him anything after all. I managed to get less than half back after standing my ground.
Absolute waste of time and pathetic service!
