Armstrong installed my laminate floors, and I was extremely satisfied with the entire process. Kevin did my estimate and communicated with me throughout, and everyone else I talked to was quick to respond. Work was completed exactly as stated, and right on time. I couldn’t be happier with my new floors, a worn-​out rug was replaced with a beautiful cherry laminate and a clean base around the walls. Everyone who has walked into my place has complimented it!

Brought in Armstrong Carpet & Linoleum to install black & white linoleum tile in our kitchen. The entire experience was positive from the estimator, who arrived on time and immediately understood the early Edwardian look we where going for, to the material selection, to the quote, but especially the installation. The install was outstanding: precise and seamless. The finished product became a selling point.
Not only would I use them again with confidence, I am using them for an even bigger project.

If I could give 6 stars I would. After visiting a few other large carpet stores and being dissed off by all of them, seems none really wanted my business. I decided to try Armstrong carpet and linoleum and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked through the door I felt completely taken care of. Steve showed me all the possibilities and I received samples in the mail a few days later. I went back to order and set up an installation date after choosing the carpet that I wanted. When the time came, the installers were very professional and did a great job. They were very careful with my furniture and I couldn’t be happier.
Try them you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been a floor covering rep for over 35 years, Including the seven years I lived in San Francisco. I am very familiar with how Steve Ballistreri does business. He is one of the most competent and customer service oriented retailers I’ve ever known. When I asked Steve about the negative review from the contractor, he showed me the contract in which this contractor wrote in, his own writing, the incorrect colors. He demanded that Steve pay for his mistake, under threat that he would write bad reviews all over the Internet if he did not agree. Steve is a man of integrity, and does not succumb to blackmail. I would very highly recommend Armstrong’s carpet and linoleum, And I would stay very clear of that contractor who wrote the negative reviews.

Just completed having an entire level of my house plus two levels of stairs carpeted and couldn’t be happier. I shopped around since I was spending $ 8K on the job and wanted to have the best quality at the lowest cost. Who doesn’t right! From ordering, setting up installation, calling back when the mill was a week late in shipping, all done professionally. The two installers stayed late to finish in one day versus two, they were quick, clean and moved the furniture in a snap. Little details like not a single scratch on my white base board trim was great. These guys were pros since I have hired knuckle heads on my rental property and understand the difference. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Armstrong Carpet & Linoleum. They installed carpet on stairs and in three bedrooms in our home. Their customer service was great, they were very accommodating of my short timeframe, and their carpet is well-​priced. I will definitely work with them again when the need arises.

I moved to the city a year ago and needed to replace some window coverings and get new area rugs. I’m happy to support this local business and the service at Armstrong is excellent. Both Liam and Kevin are knowledgeable and helpful. They work with you to find what works within your budget. I’ve now replaced almost all my window covering with various blinds and shades from Armstrong. Prices are fair. I didn’t really do comparison shopping. I suspect you can do better at Home Depot or the like, but paying a little more is worth it. I am glad they’re in my neighborhood and would recommend them without reservation.

I would work with Armstrong and its excellent staff again in a heartbeat.
I had a wonderful experience with Kevin and the gang from start to finish. Kevin listened to me on the phone and answered my questions. He gave a reasonable quote and so I went into the store to feel the custom rug pad I was interested in buying!
In the store, there is candy. And cookies, on the day I visited. I happily snacked on a few fun size butterfinger bars as the lovely experts at Armstrong assisted me, honored the quoted price that I had received on the phone, and helped me load the pad into my car once it was cut and ready.
These guys do honest business and they are nice about it, too! Anytime I have rug/​flooring/​window needs, I’m coming back to Armstrong!

I hardly write reviews, but I felt I needed to with Armstrong. Kevin was super pleasant to work with and remembered me after several months of no contact. We were originally getting carpeting and window treatments for our nursery and decided on window treatments only. We dealt with Liam and he was such a pleasure to work with and also gave us info that was completely transparent. I’m sure this place was a little more costly than other places, but I didn’t even bother getting quotes from other places because their service, follow up and information were superb. Our window treatments have been installed and we love them, they were a little tricky because they were floor to ceiling and had unique measurements but they made it work!

Recently had a custom area rug crafted by Steve and the fabulous staff at Armstrong’s. Just as I did in Feb. 2008, another five star rating for a local business that is professional, friendly and incredibly knowledgable. They have been in business forever and it’s no surprise why… they know what they are doing and they are really, really good at it. I highly recommend Armstrong Carpet and Linoleum.
They installed carpeting in my home and vinyl flooring in my office. They have also installed plantation shutters in my home.
Their workers are prompt, efficient, courteous, professional, and skilled. Never had a bad experience with them.
I bought my plantation shutters there several years ago. I could have bought the same product at several locations around the Bay Area. for a similar price. Recently a small part of a shutter broke. Armstrong was good about coming out to look at the problem and help me fix it.
Customer service is what makes this company so good. After all these years, Kevin, Liam, and Steve still recognize me when they see me in the neighborhood. Great customer service like this makes all the difference.

Armstrong makes your installation go perfectly. Kevin had extreme patience when we visited the store multiple times, came back for multiple samples, changed our minds, and worked with us closely to schedule installation of hardwood flooring and carpeting.
The result is simply stunning!
If you want seamless integration, very high quality, superior customer service, inconvenience this is the place. They may not be the cheapest in town, but that is more than offset quality, convenience, and superior workmanship. We would use them again for our next project for certain.

Basically, they are more expensive than most for the same carpet. As for customer service… here’s what I got. Call time: per my cell 1:43. I called with my details all ready (sqft, 32oz cut pile, pad size) and asked for a quote, he quoted me and then I confirmed the pad size and his response was «it means more when you come in and see the selection … I have a lot of customers in the store…» HORRIBLE customer service. I AM a customer whether I’m in the store or on the phone.
GO TO STRAUS CARPET. They are less expensive and understand customer service!
