Anthony Koutsos

Anthony is a terrific agent. As buyers, Anthony provided us great advice and counseling that helped us get a feel for the market and even our own needs. He is also a great negotiator and advocate for his clients. We were very pleased with the results when it came down to getting our offer accepted. I’ve worked with Anthony for over a decade. He has been very helpful. At an open house he took our details, gave me his card and signed us up for relevant listings. A week later I phone him at about 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon, and he was kind enough to come across town to let us into an apartment straight away.
He was very helpful in the purchase and sale of various multi-​unit buildings. He deals very well with other agents, and has been instrumental in managing to get us to the top of the list in purchasing buildings in highly competitive markets.
He knows his strengths and is honest about weaknesses. When I was purchasing a building outside SF, he said I should probably get a different agent who knows that area better.
He always steered me to very profitable building; and when the crash came I broke even on the building I was in, which I was pretty happy about.

I am an investor and get into some very tough projects. Anthony has sold several of them for me and has been great to deal with. However, for me the most valuable part of working with Anthony has been his commitment to us. He is very responsive, always follows up on deals, and is willing to go the extra mile to find the house that is best for us. Even though we are budget constrained in the toughest market in the county, I feel confident Anthony will help us find the right place, which is saying a lot!

In 2005, Anthony helped me buy my first home, in San Francisco. At the time, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into, and I probably would’ve made some bad decisions without advice from Anthony. Once he understood my overall financial picture, he steered me in the direction of buying a multi unit building, which would never have occurred to me. It’s the best financial decision I’ve ever made. Anthony drove me around looking at properties, and sat with me many times explaining the ins and outs of buying a home and how to anticipate and plan for the expenses. He helped me decide with confidence what I was capable of taking on.
Sometimes we had differences of opinion, and Anthony would patiently explain his rationale for his recommendations. Usually I would end up agreeing with him, and realizing that I had overlooked things or I was acting with too much emotion and not enough logical thinking. For example, it was really helpful to have him there to ground me when I was falling in love aesthetically with the property that really didn’t make practical sense for me. He is a great agent and I recommend him.

Mr Koutsos is a very professional and thorough agent. He has a comprehensive awareness of the SF market place. We spent a week with him and bought a two unit building that we are extremely pleased with. We would highly recommend Mr Koutsos and absolutely use him again for any of our real estate needs.

I can’t say enough good things about the service I received from Anthony in the process of selling my TIC in 2012. It was an incredibly complex sale, even for a TIC. Anthony was professional, persistent, and his knowledge of TIC sales and his connections served incredibly helpful. I honestly doubted at times we would be able to sell our unit, and without Anthony I’m not sure we would have. If you are trying to buy or sell a TIC, I couldn’t recommend Anthony more highly.

Anthony is a closer, and that is what you need in your agent. Anthony will get the deal done regardless if it’s selling or purchasing your property. Anthony has built up a good reputation in the city over the last many years, something that is not a given in this cut throat business. Also Anthony can work equally well with the first-​time buyer or the seasoned developer. Anthony has both purchased and sold my last four properties so I’m in a good position to make these comments.

I’ve worked with Anthony for a number of years. In 2013, I was in the market for a multi-​unit building, and he found one that was poorly listed and underpriced. He pushed me to see it the first day it was on the market, got me to the front of the line, and we able to get an amazing deal done. He is sharp, plugged in, and knows the TIC market better than anyone. Highly recommended.

Anthony was essential to getting our wonderful San Francisco home. He went above and beyond to advise, inform, and orchestrate our first-​time house purchase and recommend him to anyone who is in the market.

Anthony is honestly everything you’d want in an agent. I unfortunately have had to work with more than a couple that were clearly more focused on getting a deal done at the expense of my best interest. Anthony is 100% the opposite. He always has my best interest at front. He gives great honest advice all the time. I bought my first unit as an investment property and would connect with Anthony almost monthly to get ongoing advice. He knows all the major TIC owners in SF and single handedly pushed through some incredibly needed TIC agreement updates at my request. I could not have done it without him and was stunned at how well he knows his business and regular properties.

As a first time home buyer and first time TIC buyer (and later seller) I wouldn’t use anyone else. I tried a number of times and no one competes with Anthony. He also won’t harass or bribe you to Unilocal him, which I’m sure is why I’m one of just a couple reviews here.
I feel like I’m doing the Unilocal community a favor more than him by writing this.
