Anita’s Beauty Salon No 3

Its my first time coming in here… I just walked in and the woman that cut my hair Ana she was very friendly! And the staff was very friendly also! I’m glad I found a new place to cut my hair… I’m definitely going back!

I have been getting my hair cut there for over 10 years.
I am an active actor and model with national campaigns both print and TV,
Enough said.

Went today because the person who normally cut my hair on Mission closed up shop. So I Unilocaled cheap haircuts and found Anita’s. At first glance, the shop is kind of dicey. I actually walked past the place and was about to walk on but I needed a haircut, a cheap one, bad so I doubled back.
The first sign of trouble was when the woman who came up to me took me to her station… in the hair washing area, which had two sinks. She pulled a chair from underneath one of the sinks and told me to sit in it. Good thing she was short so she didn’t have to stoop. This was when I knew I was given a person who didn’t cut hair normally. All her equipment were put away so she had to pull out everything.
Then she started cutting my hair until someone wanted to pay. She disappeared for a few minutes and came back apologizing. This was when I knew I was given a person who was normally their cashier. The third time she went to work the register, I told her I thought it was a good idea to leave, even though my hair was half cut and wet. She apologized and finished cutting my hair without interruption.
So now I have my cheap haircut. It’s actually not bad, a little shorter than I like but I was keeping an eye on the length that she cut off. I told her an inch and it looked like less than an inch. I don’t think I will be back again.

I’ve been coming here for years and have always been super happy. Really can’t complain for the price, either. Most of the ladies speak some English and while the storage room comparison is a good one, I have always been treated very well, with kindness and never had to wait more than 3 minutes to get my hair cut. I’d recommend this place to any of my friends!

If you’re looking for super cheap prices on top of Quality Service come here! I get my hair trimmed and flat ironed for $ 20. My husband has super thick hair and has went to supercuts or those cheap haircut places, only to need another haircut the following week. Whereas this place only charges him $ 10 and his haircut lasts for weeks! and yes. you should speak spanish when you show up, but it you don’t you’ll get by. The ladies that work here are fun and loving!

After spending $ 50 on haircuts for a long time, and self serving myself with #3, I finally decided it was time to find a happy medium. After growing my hair our for a while I decided it was time for a haircut that did not need me to apply for a bank loan. I had been to another barber shop a few doors down once and went back but they were closed so I hit up Anitas. They take me to the back to some place that resembled a storage room and I got my haircut by a woman that spoke no English. Well she at least understood that I wanted a shorter haircut and did the job for $ 10. Was definitely not disappointed and will likely go back when Im ready the next time around.
