If the bad customer service is any indication of how the food tastes I’d recommend you stay away. The cashier was extremely rude when I asked to use the bathroom as I was STANDING IN LINE. Her quick response was ‘its for customers only.’ I explained I was buying something and she said I could only use the bathroom after I bought it and I’d need to take the food I just bought in the bathroom with me. Seriously? Gross. I hope the owners here know that this is the type of person they have representing their establishment.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the Embarcadero centers. The coffee is nothing special, but the breakfast sandiwches and lunch sandwiches are delicious and hit the spot on a day when I’m very hungry.
The staff are always pleasant, which makes me happy to keep giving them my business. Keep it up!

My mom and I ate here on a visit to Embarcadero and were quite pleased with the food. One of our sandwiches had avocado on it (which my mom is allergic to) and we hadn’t noticed it in the description, but the gentleman who took our order was quick to get another made for us with a smile on his face. We had a great experience at this quick sandwich spot and would return again just because of the great service we received!

Just Opened and a bit of confusion in this new sandwich spot. I decided to try it because it is super convenient to the office. The line was long, order takers slow and have to do multiple tasks — just not take orders. They were out of their croissant, which they were advertising before 1:00p.
When I finally received my sandwich the bread was indeed very fresh but the person making my sandwich had clearly being using avocados because both my sandwich outer layer and wrapping were smeared with it. If I liked avocados this would have been somewhat fine (except for the wrapping — since I needed to go wash my hands after opening) but I don’t, so it was kinda gross. Green smears everywhere. While I didn’t wait 35 minutes there were those that apparently did.
I’m not sure I’ll try again because it appears from this first visit they have a limited sandwich selection and the service was «iffy.» I hope it was just opening jitters and all will work itself out.
