Amazon Prime Fresh Delivery Service

this is not for amazon prime fresh delivery service, it is for amazon prime customer service. i can’t find the customer service number to report missing packages

I have been an Amazon Prime member for years now, I signed up for Prime right when they began offering it as an option. I really like many aspects of my Prime membership, so I thought would give Prime Fresh a try as well. I ordered a lot of fresh fruits and veg plus a few other items. Ordering was very easy, and they do offer many items. The kicker is, it is so horribly wasteful. They use styrofoam coolers full of cool packs stuffed in huge green bags. I immediately canceled my Prime fresh subscription. Come on, Amazon, we know better now as a culture, lets be friendly to our planet.

The best service! Know I live in Tri Cities Wa. And they are not serving this area. I miss you prime know. Hope to see you working here soon.

And anything happen with products like came with broke or lost during shipping, they give u credit back so quick or replace item right away in fast shipping.

Amazon!!! For the love of God and my Prime Membership, please STOP USING ONTRAC!!! It is nearly impossible to receive packages delivered by then. I stopped using
because of Ontrac too. I have made multiple complaints about it via e-​mail and chat. And if this perchance gets your attention, just take a look at Ontrac’s Unilocal review pages.

Be careful before signing up… they will charge your account without giving you a notice, very deceiving!

I cannot say enough about this services. Stupendous and a manager’s best friend!!! I manage nouns — people, places and things. This service is heaven sent!!! A little miracle worker in my personal and professional life. A tenant had a the fridge go caput so I had one delivered under an hour. My cats needed litter and food and it was 3am and I just collapsed into clean sheets. I surprised my mom and dad by delivering to our mountain house. My office needed supplies and paper during their night audit at 4:30am. In a pinch, Amazon Prime Now is my fairy godmother. Thank you APN! Love, Sonjia Gust, Kittysmack

Signed up for Amazon Prime Fresh trial in Oakland. Found nothing I could/​would use and thought no further about it… Until I got notice of a charge for $ 327.41 listed as AMAZON MEMBERSHIP. My regular prime renewed for $ 99 in July… WT!!!
I called amazon and was told the only way to get out of Amazon Prime Fresh was to completely cancel my Amazon Prime and re-​sign up! It seems they automatically cancel your existing membership, refund a pro-​rate and move your setting into prime fresh with no way back and simply expect you’ll go along! Looks like a bait and switch to me.
Amazon has become part of Comcast and I am re-​thinking my Amazon affiliation

Today was my first time using Amazon Prime Fresh (30 day trial) and I have to give it mixed reviews:
THE GOOD: Selection is awesome. Good quality items for generally lower than you can find at Safeway. My driver was on time and very friendly. $ 3 for a 12 pack of Diet Coke compared to Safeway’s $ 7.00. They have almost anything you would want. Only $ 50 spending required for free delivery.
THE BAD: Several items missing from my order, although Amazon did immediately issue a credit for the missing items, as well as a promotion credit for the next order. Also, per a couple of drivers, they are NOT given the tips you add online.
THE UNDECIDED: After Instacart turned into a debacle, this is a great alternative. My only hesitation is the $ 299 a year membership fee (minus prorated for existing Prime membership). That is really pretty steep for individuals.

**REALLY disappointed that they will not let me gift a prime membership to my mother so she can try this service! They are offering a $ 73.00 membership for new members for a year BUT THEY HAVE BLOCKED GIFT MEMBERSHIPS from this price? WHY? So if SHE buys it … it is $ 73.00…but if I BUY IT… it is $ 99.00??? Makes no sense! Guess I will find an honest way to get her groceries and toiletries to her… what a joke…

Amazon banned me for ordering too many Prime shipping items, these guys cant be serious, spending over 10k a year and they close me because of this

My first Amazon Prime Fresh grocery delivery service experience was fantastic.
In case you’re curious here are some pros and cons:
PROS:
–Decent selection: quality organic produce, frozen foods, deli meats and cheeses for the hubb’s sandwiches, even Korean seaweed snacks!
–The price of organic produce is low and quality is high.
–They deliver frozen items packed with dry ice and refrigerated products with ice packs in styrofoam coolers bags. Cardboard is used to avoid smashing your bread and chips and eggs.
–Convenience! I would never have to go out shopping for anything ever again, which is sort of a dream come true… we share one vehicle, both work, have a young child, and I’m honestly too busy for grocery shopping. This service is great for keeping fresh food in the house.
–I ordered last night and scheduled the hour window I wanted it delivered in for this morning.
–I don’t have to carry 6 gallons of water, a case of Zevia, and Cairo’s bottles of fruit/​veg juice upstairs from the parking lot.
CONS:
–I’m not sure it’s worth the $ 295 upcharge on my already $ 90something annual regular Prime membership.
–My husband directs produce for a grocery chain so subscribing would basically make me a total traitor.
–Selection: Yes, I said it was decent. But not nearly as great as actually going to a grocery store. They were out of roma tomatoes until Saturday. I’m not going to find things like organic watercress there. They don’t have nitrite free cured meats. They don’t have my favorite tea biscuits. You get the picture.
–Not being able to pick out exactly how much or how little produce I want (the options aren’t bad, but ex: sometimes I want one banana not a bunch), or what size tomato I want, etc. would probably get old. I hate wasting food and I hate eating stuff I don’t want to just to avoid it going bad and throwing it away.
–The frozen and refrigeration bags take up a ton of room while you wait for your next delivery to exchange them because they’re framed with styrofoam. Not great for little urban apartment life.
–Apparently Amazon employs the tiniest little ladies to deliver the orders containing gallons of water, juice, and soda upstairs. Now I just feel guilty.
So yay, I’m a fan buuuut… I’m not sure I’ll keep this beyond the 30 day trial. Only b/​c it costs so dang much and I don’t think I would order often enough to make it worth while. But I haven’t decided just yet.

Amazon Fresh is fantastic for busy bees who don’t have time to go to and from the grocery store! My husband and I have been using the service for a little over a year now. The selection they have is fair, so don’t expect them to have every item you desire or brand names that you want. It’s easy to order online, select the delivery date and time, and delivery can be as early as the next morning which is very convenient. You can also make custom lists of grocery items. For example, I have a «Spaghetti» list with all the items I need to make spaghetti, so whenever I want to make that dish, I just select the Spaghetti list and all the ingredients are automatically added to my cart. They used to require a $ 35 order in order for groceries to be delivered, but they recently increased it to $ 50. Another convenient thing is that it doesn’t have to be all foods. Sometimes I am able to add other household items I need like paper towels and tape.
My biggest issue with Amazon Fresh is the delivery. The delivery people have gotten extremely lazy! We always opt for attended delivery which means we must be present in order for them to deliver. Sometimes the delivery guys try to deliver early like 2 – 3 hours before the delivery window is open which is inconvenient if we’re not home. Also, one of the delivery girls wanted us to carry the bags ourselves to our apartment! My husband ended up helping her and in the end, she didn’t want to take the AmazonFresh bags back with her.
As for the quality of the food that gets delivered, it’s good 98% of the time. When I first started using it over a year ago, there were a couple occasions when the cilantro and lettuce came spoiled and bread was close to expiration date. A quick email to Amazon’s customer service got us refunded for the spoiled foods and even additional credit in our account for the next time we shopped. It seems like they fixed this issue though since no spoiled foods have been sent to us in about a year.
Aside from the un-​motivated delivery people, I do enjoy ordering groceries in my PJ’s and having it delivered to my apartment the next morning. :)

false advertising at it’s finest, order anything from amazon and it will tell you amazon prime will get there in cali in 2 days even as you order. you pay for this special service, but if you look after you place your order it actually takes 4 to 5 days in cali. again false advertising at it’s finest and who will take it in the shorts the people that trust as always. pass it along to those who order off amazon thank you.

Sounds like enough people complained about USPS’s shabby delivery service and AF brought its original service back! I am delighted! They are really nice, bring my groceries up the stairs, always take the packages back if I ask them to wait a minute or two… service with a smile! Amazon — great job listening to customer feedback and responding with speed!

I used it once because I was disabled temporarily and in need of groceries. I would say the idea is good and service is good and on time, to be fair. Apparently there is space to improve: more items, more flexible in quantity option, remove minimum purchase, etc.

We love Amazon Fresh!
You can put in an order at midnight and have fresh food, to your door, by 9 am. Everything is professionally picked out and packaged in cooler bags, and the bags conveniently left to recycle for next dropoff time. No need to be present. And in true and familiar Amazon fashion, the grocery list is saved for future uses, making remembering essentials an easy task. It’s free when over $ 35 with a Prime subscription. You can use general Amazon gift cards and apply your existing Amazon account details such as shipping preferences, which is convenient.
The downside is that some more exotic foods are yet unavailable.
This service is a necessity for busy working urban parents!
Instacart was convenient but disappointing with spoiled fruit and the awkwardness of personal contact. This service is anonymous, efficient, and ecologically sustainable. We swear by it weekly!

This is a great idea, executed poorly. I so wanted to love the Amazon Prime Fresh service that was available in our area. The concept of ordering groceries and other items online one evening to find them delivered to my doorstep early the next morning is brilliant. I signed up for the 30-​day free trial and ordered deliveries for morning and evening, large orders and small, fresh produce and packaged, and pre-​made meals over the course of the trial period.
My first frustration was finding that some common items were only available in large quantities, other items were not in stock. I tried to work around that. Delivery was always right on time, and the delivery person was always very cordial.
The packaging is good for keeping cold foods cold, but there were always large bags and coolers with only one item in them! The packaging would really take up a lot of space while we waited for the next delivery to set them out. I found that if I signed up for «attended» delivery, I could ask the driver to wait a second while I unloaded the bags to take them all back on the spot. Better.
The main reason that I will not be renewing beyond the trial period is because the quality of the produce was so poor. It looked like the tomatoes, broccoli, etc. had been pulled from a pile that no one in a brick-​and-​mortar store would have picked for him/​herself. Limp vegetables, already starting to spoil, over-​ripe bananas, etc.
I guess I can put up with a housecleaner who doesn’t do it like I would, but when it comes to accepting «barely okay» groceries, it’s too much of a compromise.
