Established in 2010 with our main office located in Brentwood, we are excited to open our second location in San Francisco located right in the heart of the financial district. Our San Francisco office will serve clients with real estate law and litigation, landlord/​tenant law, business transaction and litigation, as well as hospitality law matters. Our main office in Brentwood, in addition to these areas, also provides our clients legal counsel and representation in estate planning and probate as well as family law matters.

History

Established in 2010.

Amy Alvis is the founding partner of Alvis Quashnock and Associates A Professional Law Corporation. Marie Quashnock became Amy’s new partner in 2013. Together, Amy and Marie balance each other. Their different energies and practice styles complement each other. While they each focus on their respective practice areas, they have each other and other attorneys on staff to provide a diversity of legal services for a broader demographic.

Manager

Candice Macario, Of Counsel, in the San Francisco office of Alvis Quashnock and Associates, has extensive experience representing clients in state court matters, as well as proceedings before the American Arbitration Association. Candice has focused her practice in matters related to the business of real estate development in both the private and public sector and for both residential and commercial use. She specializes in representing design professionals, owners and contractors in litigation and transactional matters. She has participated in arbitrations and mediations in California and in federal court and has broad civil litigation experience. She has represented engineers, architects, general contractors as well as owners, in matters involving alleged construction defect claims, alleged errors in design and workmanship, breach of contract claims for delay and disruption, change order claims, and contractor substitution disputes, involving both public and private projects
