Thank you for the excellent client experience, from my first call to the onsite visit by Dmitry. My gas dryer was not heating and thought I would give this service a try rather than order the part that was gonna take 3 days to deliver. I called first thing this morning, 8:30am and Dmitry was out by 11:30am and my dryer was completely functioning by Noon.
I’m not sure if same day service is normal but I was happy to be lucky enough to receive it.

The company was able to give me a same day appointment to repair my refrigerator which helped save my Thanksgiving leftovers. Serge arrived on time and was very efficient in making the repair.

We have a Bosch built in oven and the hinges were shot which was causing all the heat to escape. I called All European Appliance repair based upon Unilocal reviews and I am glad I did. They did an EXCELLENT job. Andre came exactly on time and called when he was en route. The price was exactly as quoted and was very fair. I will definitely call them again if the need arises.

Can’t get better than this, although it was not the experience we had last time. This time although we had to wait a day for an appointment he showed up on time and diagnosed the
problem the same as we had, thus we were expecting to have to wait for the appropriate
parts, which would arrive the next day. Then 2 hours later he arrived back with the part he
had been able to find that day and switched out in about 10 min. and the washer was back
in business! We appreciate the knowledge and fast service as it is very inconvenient for us
when we don’t have the washer as we need it for business purposes. Highly recommend them but be sure you get the repairman who is familiar with your machine!

Andre did a great job — he showed up early on a Saturday, was fast, courteous, and explained everything he was doing. I will definitely use them again for our kitchen appliance repair!

We had an amazing experience with All European Appliance Repair, and in particular, Andre.
Backstory — we have 4 year old Electrolux appliances in our kitchen. They look nice, but I would never buy them again… pretty much every item has failed at some point. Most failed shortly after we moved into our house, and were under warranty, but now we’re seeing more problems.
Most recently our oven stopped working. Our gas stove was fine, but the oven itself wouldn’t heat. We called All European and booked an appointment for Friday. I booked it for Friday, but then had to move it and they said they could come on Saturday — no extra weekend fees.
On Saturday, Andre called about 75 minutes before our scheduled time and said he could arrive early, which he did. He then quickly diagnosed the problem (although he properly said he suspected the problem, but wouldn’t be sure unless he tested it.) He then explained how the system worked, wrestled with crappy Electrolux pieces and got everything working.
He was done with the repair BEFORE his scheduled arrival time and I now understand how the oven system works in more detail than I ever imagined. The price was fair, and close to the directional estimate that had been provided over the phone.
I hope to not need to have many more problems with our appliances, but if I do, I will use All European Appliance Repair.

First experience was great. Serge arrived in the first half an hour of the 2 hour time window! I can’t remember that last time a service call came within the time window. Quickly fixed the broken handle on my Bosch dishwasher and checked out the problem that I am having with the broiler on my Wolf range. He clearly explained what was probably wrong with the broiler and is checking on parts and timing to fix. Assuming that he follows thru on the repair of the range I will upgrade my review to 5 stars. Price was totally reasonable as well.

Serge diagnosed our broken washing machine on a Friday & fixed it on the Monday — he was punctual, quick, polite, and explained the problem and solution simply. AEAR was actually our second opinion; the other company misdiagnosed the issue and would have charged us 3X as much.

Remarkable Service. These guys don’t give up. I have an older model Sub Zero Refrigerator. It was acting up in a material way and although the first couple of times it was very difficult to diagnose the problem, these guys wouldnt quit. After thorough examination and patience they fixed the issue and our fridge works great. I was impressed with the company’s responsiveness, thoroughness, and dedication once they were hired to repair the issue. I would highly recommend All European Appliance!

Our Viking stove has been failing to light for the past couple months, but it’s always during a dinner party, when I can’t deal with it.
Today I got cut from work early and decided to take advantage of my free time and try to get this resolved.
I called an hour ago, and already Andre the Amazing has arrived, diagnosed, fixed the problem and left.
Added bonus– when I talked about how much my wife would appreciate it, I couldn’t help but freeze up– do I want to tell a strange man, when I’m alone in my house that I’m gay?
He immediately shared me some great stories about how much better the US is for gay people than his home country, and how glad he is that we have full legal rights.
Will absolutely call them again for our appliance repair needs!!!

All European Appliance repair was recommended to me by a friend when I had problems with my non-​draining Bosch dishwasher and I was very happy with their service. Dmitry came the same day and took care of it for great price. I highly recommend this company.

I called them based on the good reviews and am very happy with their service. They tested my washer I’ve had for 6 years for about half an hour and told me what was wrong with it (it was frequently out of balance when spinning, GE profile). Then said for the cost to replace parts, I’d be better off buying a cheaper washer that would last longer. I offered to pay them for their visit but they said no charge. How many companies do that these days?

I just had a terrible experience dealing with them.
The short story is that they mis-​diagnosed the issue one of our appliances was having during their first visit.
Their second visit was supposed to be to the repair but turned into a second diagnosis, different from the first one.
They were not easy to deal with and didn’t want to recognize that we had an issue being charged twice for a diagnosis that should have been correct in the first place.
They also assigned the blame partly on the building manager who discussed the issue with them, trying to help.
Following this experience, they are now removed from the list of recommended companies for our whole apartment complex.

My neighbor’s dryer emits a high pitched noise that penetrates into my bedroom. It’s especially bad at night. I finally convinced them to allow a repair man to check it out. So today Dmitry from European Appliance came out. As soon as I meet Dmitry he tells me he is not going to look into the dryer because nothing is wrong with it. He then lectures me that I have no legal standing and can not sue. Why would he give me unsolicited legal advice? While I have no idea what they and Dmitry talked about before my arrival, the fact is my neighbors and I had not gone down that path between ourselves. I told him to calm down, that this is a matter of one neighbor helping another to solve a problem. So he backs off only to tell me my concerns of noise are «preposterous». I tell him that is a strong word, that it negates my feelings and experiences, but Dmitry reiterates that I am ‘preposterous’. I have since found that my roommate has recorded this noise. It definitely occurs!
I had offered to pay the repair man, so I saw no reason why my neighbors would not be agreeable to helping. In fact they suggested that the vent opening be changed so that it angles away from my window but Dmitry insisted this would make no difference. Dmitry kept saying there was nothing wrong with the dryer even though he did not check the dryer other than turn it on, which was during the day when the street is noisy. He made no effort to trouble shoot what might be the problem, and was very unprofessional and dismissive. He left after submitting a bill for doing nothing short of giving me a tongue lashing.
I am giving this company two stars because I believe there must be other repair people in European Appliance who are professional, who have better work ethics, and who don’t insult clients. I did complain to the repair company and they were very responsive and said they will send their senior repair man over for free but now my neighbors refuse as they are satisfied they are off the hook now. Too bad I was the unlucky one to get Dmitry! If my neighbors change their minds and European Appliance sends another repair person who is professional and respectful, then I will be back to Unilocal to change my rating. But the bottom line, I recommend you be very careful if you have your appliance issues looked at by Dmitry.

It was the 4^th of July and in the midst of several «getting ready to festivate ‘murica» activities we ran our dryer full of red-​white-​and-​blue clothing and a sound erupted like… like…squealing metal death upon squealing scraping metal death bleeding in my ears scraping metal sound. It was terrible.
We stopped the dryer and took a big, fat, pile of patriotic clothing out of the dryer and sighed. Obviously getting this thing back on line PRONTO was a priority — after celebrating the red white and blue — but surely we were going to have to wait a week right? Surely on a holiday weekend there could be no hope?
All European delivered. We called at 10am on the 5^th. Emil had Alex slated to be at my door by 12 noon… but Alex did better than that and was at my door at 11! He rapidly ascertained the problem in my dryer (loose jewelry between the drums!) and then, while he was here, I pitched him on a variety of other issues that I’d been letting stack up:
* Broken ice-​maker (Liebherr)
* Icy build-​up in the freezer (Liebherr)
* An oven mode that didn’t work.
Alex took each of these problems in stride and, speaking as a software developer, I could totally follow his diagnostic process (albeit not the details, I don’t speak Russian). But the way he tested and pitched hypotheses with Emil back at the mother ship was really impressive.
Even more amazing was how Alex debugged my freezer *at the same time* that he was debugging the oven. It was seriously pro. He might have been a concurrent software systems developer in another life. Anyway, these guys are complete pros, fast service, straight to business, at a good price.
Alex is going to price out all the repairs and let me figure out when I can have the appliances off-​line. So, fast repair in a pinch, and a good plan around fixing other nagging repairs — that’s the best you can hope for, and this team delivers.

I know appliance repair isn’t exactly an exciting thing, but they made it as easy and painless as possible. Took a few visits to get it right but the guys there (Dmitry and Emil) both focused on fixing the dishwasher and making sure everything was good before they gave up.
They ordered a couple of parts that turned out to not be necessary, and didn’t charge me for either part. All they charged me for was labor (and I’m pretty sure they didn’t charge me the full amount).
And they were nice.
I hope I don’t have any more issues with my appliances, but if I do I won’t hesitate to call them.

Emil arrived in the specified time window and quickly diagnosed the problem with my SubZero refrigerator. He had the required part in his truck and finished the installation within 30 minutes.

Details:
I made an appointment at 9am. Was told they had availability the same day between 10:30 and 12:30. Alex came at 11:50. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem with out dishwasher. The valve broke and needed to be replaced. He had the parts with him so he was able to fix it the same day. He explained to us that valves do break from time to time and there’s not much we can do to prevent it from happening. Now onto the above and beyond part. My dishwasher was not very well installed and it was slightly tilted. Alex helped us straighten it without any extra charge. During the process, he also told us because our dishwasher was put in before the floor, the flooring company didn’t put wood under the dishwasher, which is not good. So he told us how to fix this properly if and when we do change the dishwasher. The entire process took about an hour.
Our total cost was $ 270, $ 225 for parts and only $ 45 for labor. There is a one-​year warranty on the service and 90 day warranty on the parts as well. I did tip Alex on top of that for the great service we received.
All in all, I was very happy with Alex’s great work. Will DEFINITELY use again if something else comes up.

Update: Dwaine, the repair tech just came back on his own this morning and is going to replace the single temperature control for the freezer and fridge for free. He inspected the bottom of the unit and told me the appearance that it is «rotting» is due to previous breakdowns that washed down some food debris that stained the bottom and that all the cooper tubings should be ok.
Keeping my finger crossed. BTW, Dwaine is a very conscientious repairman and it appears that Box Appliance might have been looking for an easy way out.
