As a hairstylist, I specialize in cutting and styling men’s and women’s hair, as well as specialty styling for special occasions and haircoloring. Business has been exceptionally well, both in Brooklyn and San Francisco.

Personally, I love to keep up with fashion-​forward trends, ensuring my clients receive the best, current looks. My interests in art, social sciences and travel certainly are a strong inspiration for my personal work.

I had a lovely experience with Adrienne. I needed to find a new hairstylist after moving to Brooklyn from NJ, and to my surprise/​delight, Adrienne had great reviews and was mere blocks away from me. The only problem I had the entire time was figuring out which apartment she was in. I felt very comfortable in her studio (the friendly cat didn’t hurt). All told, she spent over an hour with me, and my hair looks great. I will definitely go back for bang trims (complimentary!) and my next cut. The price was reasonable, too, about the same as the salon I went to in NJ.

I found Adrienne on Unilocal and was intrigued by all the raving reviews. She lives really close to me, a 5 minute bike ride so she’s really convenient to get to. I loved her apartment, it’s so cute and her cat is adorable. My haircut looks great and I will definitely be back for another in the future. She also mentioned possibly doing yoga classes in the future and that sounds great too. I highly recommend Adrienne!

Does any one else convince themselves of semi-​delusional hair maladies? Like, «UGH it’s not even worth it for me to get a haircut because my hair is so limp/​fine/​oily/​dry/​gross/​straight/​bitchy/​uptight/​sinful.» Then, when the split ends are finally too much, you park it in some poor Supercuts stylist’s chair and kinda whine, «I mean — whatever you want to do with it. I DON’T EVEN KNOW.»
Well, I call bullsh*t on all of that — or rather, Adrienne did when I saw her for a cut. Despite my protestations that my hair was a lost, boring cause, she gave me a cut I LOVE. She worked in easy layers and shared some seriously invaluable tips on shampoos and products. My hair hasn’t felt fuller in years, and I feel like I have seen the light. (Bonus — it’s just so damned nice to chat with Adrienne.)

Adrienne is so professional and such a lovely person all around. She definitely listens to her customers and really goes out of her way to make you comfortable. She not only cuts my hair, but I also recommended her to my bf and now he is a client as well — she really knows how to cut men and women’s hair.

I found Adrienne on Unilocal,visited her yesterday and I couldn’t be happier! The cut is amazing, her house is precious, she listens, she laughs and the price was very reasonable. She is not only a talented stylist, but a lovely person to be around.
The shampoo/​head massage was REALLY good and she gives her clients free bang trims, which deserves 6 stars.
She is my new hairdresser forevermore and I would recommend her to everyone and anyone. Thanks Adrienne!

I’m new in town and found Adrienne through her good reviews on Unilocal.Definitely agree with the rest of the reviewers! She’s very professional, from the beginning really took the time to understand what I wanted and what I wasn’t happy with from my previous haircut. I really enjoyed the scalp massage too. Anything you might worry about when trying out a new hairdresser, you can forget! She cut my hair very carefully and patiently, and gave lots of helpful tips. I have very thick hair which most previous hairdressers have had problems with cutting into layers, but Adrienne did the perfect job and now I have smooth shoulder length layers which I’m very happy with. I’ll definitely recommend her to everyone and will come back in the future!

I’ve been wanting to go with a short cut but didn’t have much confidence on my current hairdresser after some internet research I came across Adrienne I’m very glad I did. I took a chance on Adrienne after reading so many glowing Unilocal reviews and could not be happier with the result. Adrienne transformed my way-​too-​long, unruly mess of a hairstyle into the PERFECT shoulder length cut. I wasn’t even completely sure how I wanted the end result to turn out (and thus gave Adrienne a pretty terrible description of my expectations) but she somehow read my mind and gave me exactly what I was looking for! I will definitely be returning to her studio in the future and handing out her cards to friends and family. Completely worth the incredibly affordable price.

First off, Adrienne is incredibly sweet and super professional. I accompanied my girlfriend there this afternoon to act as moral support after a recent traumatic styling experience. Adrienne instantly put her at ease with her gentleness and obvious knowledge of hairstyling. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, and in an hour Adrienne had my friend’s hair exactly as she wanted it, bouncy, beautiful, and super chic. I’m incredibly jealous, so the next time my pixie cut needs a touch up, I’ll definitely be heading to Adrienne. I can’t recommend her enough!

Got a haircut from Adrienne today and I am really happy with it! She really took the time to find out what I wanted and suggested some things as well. I was in for about an hour, got a great head massage when she was washing my hair and then an amazing haircut. It was worth so much more than the $ 50 it cost.

Adrienne was amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted and explained what she was doing and why. I asked for long layers that were soft and wispy and that’s exactly what I received. I’ve had my haircut for two weeks now and I can easily say it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had. She’s beyond reasonable in regards to price and really a professional. I felt really at home and comfortable in her studio– extremely relaxed and good music to listen to. I actually purchased the products she used and recommended and she emailed me to check if all was good with my cut and if I was happy! Super cool person, great studio, awesome cut.

Adrienne did a fantastic job with my hair. I’m new to NYC and I’m always very scared to have my hair cut by new people. I’m rarely happy with my hair cuts and often need to go back a day or two after to get something fixed (my hair is weird). She first saved my hair at a salon years ago when I attempted an asymmetrical haircut on myself and now I am a devoted customer. She has an awesome home space in Brooklyn that has a relaxed vibe and great music. She always has great product suggestions and the shampoo massage is the ultimate.

I’ve been following Adrienne around for hair cuts for almost four years. Every time I get a hair cut from her, I get compliments on it for weeks. About 8 months ago she helped me take about 12 – 14 inches off and people STILL look at it and ask me who cut it! Her work is truly impeccable. I also recommend her for blow outs or a great style if you have an event you want to look awesome for.
The best part? Her cuts are meant to keep looking amazing when they grow out. Which, if you’re a busy bee like me, its nice to know that it’s still going to look fabulous if you let a lot of time go by between cuts.
Barrio Sana is cozy and quiet (also comes with an adorable cat!), so you get a truly unique experience when you’re there. Close to the L and the M trains, its also super convenient!

I had my haircut with Adrienne about a month ago. Her space is quaint and cozy and she plays awesome music. I had been debating blunt bangs for a while but was a bit nervous. She talked me through them and made them look awesome. The haircut was perfect and after a month is growing out beautifully. I’m a total babe now. I will definitely be going back to the beautiful Adrienne from now on.
