I am a contractor and have been working with Vladimir for a while now. He is my go to guy to install all my windows. He has installed windows at all of the properties I have worked on in SF and the Peninsula and at my home in SF. Not only has AAA done an excellent job with all the window replacements, but I trust Vladimir as a business man for he has not only delivered on his word, but also has exceeded expectations. Everyone at the company is courteous and responsive to requests, related to keeping the job clean, scheduling, estimates and doing the job right the first time. He has installed very intricate windows such as a 10 panel arched 5’x5’ window in a Victorian to a simple single hung window in a kitchen. He will work with you and suggest window companies and types of windows based on your budget. He knows the code requirements in all local cities and always has good suggestions to make sure the installation is done right.

When I needed to replace some oversized and significant amount of windows in my home, I got several estimates. I knew I wanted to go with AAA Windows because my dad had used them recently and had nothing but good things to say. But I have a rule — get at least three estimates before you choose any one vendor.
So I did just that. A lot of these vendors come to your house and give you this long-​winded pitch about the value of double pane windows, giving you this demonstration of a heat lamp trying to get through double pane glass and how efficient their panes are. Frankly, it gets annoying by the second time. I think Anderson Windows were here for about an hour and a half with an outrageous estimate!
When AAA Windows showed up (on time), they spared me the long, tedious, sales process. Vlad just went around my home and took measurements very efficiently. He assured me that the RFA factor on their windows are consistent with other vendors so there really is no need to bring out the heat lamp in the double pane glass example. This was refreshing as he was in and out of my home in about 30 minutes, informing me that within a couple of days he would email me the estimate.
So two days later, the estimate came in and it ended up being less than half the quote from the other vendors. In addition, his estimate included a couple of extra windows that I added after the fact. I compared the quality of windows they were going to use, which were Simonton 7300 series. They look great!
Luckily, I had the advantage of knowing that he already did quality work because my dad had used him in the past. When the job was finished I was able to confirm the quality of the work. All of his workers have decades of experience. The windows in my homes are not square and have significant gaps in them. I was concerned that after the installation you would notice these gaps and it would look amateurish. Nothing could be further from the truth. The end result was beautiful. The cost savings were significant. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend them to anybody else.

Vlad and his team did such a great job. They replaced 5 windows and a glass sliding door at my house. They also met all the requirements for my HOA which made everything so much more easier. I highly recommend these guys for any window work needed.

I really didn’t feel like shopping much and called AAAWindows for Less based on the Unilocal reviews. Vlad gave me a quick and very reasonable estimate for 6 Simonton vinyl replacement windows. Within a couple of weeks of us making a deposit, Boris installed them. They look great. Now can I get some rain?

My husband and I needed 17 new windows on a house we bought that had it’s original single-​pane 1949 windows. We did some research and found Vlad!
He invited us to his showroom, as we had many questions about which windows to purchase and which would be best for the SF neighborhood we live in. He was very professional, courteous, and prompt with all responses to our inquiries, and very informative about the window styles.
His laborer, Boris, was great! Very respectful of our home and our space, and coordinated times to come by and install all the new windows.

I needed to replace the front windows of our house in SF. I called several different companies for estimates. Galina not only called me back the same day. Vladamir was able to come out the next day to give me an estimate. I explained to him my goals with my limited budget. The prices were much more reasonable than I had anticipated, I ended up replacing all the windows in our home.

It starts with our place. We live in a 5^th-​floor, Eichler-​style penthouse that had 16 nearly 50-​year-​old aluminum doors and windows, all but two floor-​to-​ceiling. One was a 9-​foot sliding door. We received quotes from just about everyone in the Bay Area, most telling us that we needed new construction (particularly where we wanted to replace existing sliding doors with full windows) and that no manufacturer could make a 9-​foot slider. To top it off, everyone said our elevator was too small to lift the windows. We’d have to rent a crane.
Vlad was our last quote. At first we found his manner a bit brusque, but soon realized that he was telling us what others hadn’t: the truth. No, we didn’t need new construction. Yes, we could get a 9-​foot slider (from Simonton, even though other Simonton dealers said we couldn’t!). He also said that because we lived on the top floor, we should get Simonton’s stronger vinyl windows made for windy conditions. The more we talked with him the more we realized Vlad not only knows what he’s doing but cares deeply about doing the job right. And then there was the price, the lowest of all our estimates. Normally, when someone comes in with a low-​ball quote, we run the other way. But he convinced us that we didn’t need to pay more, so we went with him and crossed our fingers.
There was no need to worry. Although there were times when things were a little hairy during the lifting process (we had to crane up each window individually), Vlad, Gary and Hayk made it look (relatively) easy.
Then Gary took over. He took great care with his installation, making sure everything was perfect, and he even made suggestions regarding trim that we hadn’t thought of. Although other installers had warned us about replacing existing sliders with floor-​to-​ceiling windows, Gary breezed through the process.
The result is spectacular. The windows are beautiful. The doors slide like butter. And the resulting reduction in noise and heat loss are remarkable.
Vlad said this was one of his toughest installations. You’d never have known it by their demeanor (although there were several animated phone conversations between Gary and Vlad that made us wish we spoke Russian!).
Lastly, the city building inspector said they did a great job.
Vlad and his crew have now done three condos in our building. All of us are happy beyond measure. And we can give AAA Windows 4 Less our highest recommendation.

We are very happy with our new windows in our new home! We bought a house in NE Richmond with the original (AKA old and drafty) windows and that was first on our list of home improvements. Being first time homeowners with a toddler, we didn’t have a lot of $ leftover after down payments etc and really needed to find a reputable company to replace them at a reasonable price. We had a quote from another window company during escrow and AAA Windows for Less offered a quote for a fraction of that first quote! The fall deal is superb and the windows are quality (just a step lower than the other brand). Vlad and his team are very professional. This is a family run business and they work year round except for rainy weather and their favorite holiday New Years Eve and New Year’s Day. Boris, our window installer is fast and efficient and didn’t let our rowdy husky distract him from completing his work in the promised time. Another thing I loved; we had chosen colonial style windows for the front of our house (to improve curb appeal) and Vlad found out the «grids» didn’t match up. He immediately told the window company to correct the problem for us. The incorrect window was still installed temporarily by Boris and the correct window was replaced by the window company (not AAA windows for less) two weeks after. Go ahead and give them a call!

Excellent service and easy to work with.
I had 15 windows replaced in our Edwardian condo. Given the city guidelines, we had to replace our old single paned wooden windows with double paned wooden windows in order to retain the look (or charm) of the building. I shopped around and got 5 quotes from highly regarded companies on Unilocal.In the end I selected AAA Windows not only because they were the best priced, but Vlad was very professional, seemed like a nice guy and he really pays attention to detail.
It took about 3 – 4 weeks to deliver the windows. They coordinated the installation process with my schedule. They made sure to clean up after each day.
The windows come primed, so I had my painters come after installation to paint the windows. Vlad was courteous enough to point out that my painters had re-​installed the windows incorrectly after painting. He took time out of his day to stop by and fix the problem.
Not only are we happy to have brand new windows, but we’re very happy with the quality of their work.

Vlad and his crew are great. I tried to get at least 8 quotes before signing a contract. Some came out, took a look and never sent an estimate. Others were very unprofessional. A few of the estimates we did get were more than double the price we got from AAA. We replaced 18 windows (some really high!), many odd shaped. The windows came when promised. Installers finished in two days. They cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous. Our windows look great! Would definitely recommend AAA Windows to a friend.

Vlad is extremely professional. He provided a quote within 15 minutes of inspecting the windows.
