A Very Handy Guy

It was a complete waste of my time! If you cannot do the work and overbooked! Just say so so i can find someone else who have the time!!!

I am very satisfied with Jason’s service. I had a small project: to install the bathtub glass door I purchased from Lowe’s. Over the phone, he was up to the point asking about the project, checking the timing, as well as providing the quote (a very reasonable price). He was on time for the appointment, professional on measurements and planning, clear on communications, and delivered the job within a reasonable time frame. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a decent handyman.

I can’t believe I found Jason. He’s a hidden gem and I almost hate to recommend him, for fear he’ll get too busy. I’d like to keep him all to myself. :)
I live in a 100-​year-​old Edwardian house where the old windows were not working properly. Everyone else I called wanted to replace all the windows at a huge price tag. Jason replaced the inner-​workings of 5 windows, going the extra mile to find the parts. Our windows are like new, at a fraction of the cost. To boot, when I asked if we should have the same thing done to 5 more windows in another room, Jason said it wasn’t necessary and that I should wait.
He’s very versatile, can do many different kinds of work, and I look forward to calling him again. Smart, personable, prompt, reliable, he knows his stuff.
With a house this old, I’ve had dozens of contractors, repairmen, etc., in my house, sometimes overlapping three and four deep. My experience with Jason was the only one in which I got all the information I needed, prompt follow-​up, he showed up on time, did great quality work, and he didn’t overcharge me or suggest work that really didn’t need to be done.
I highly recommend him.

Jason is a great handyman. I booked him several weeks in advance because it was around the holidays, then I called him a week before he was supposed to show up and asked to change our appointment to a day later, and he accommodated my request without hesitation. (Which made me very happy.)

He arrived right on time with tools in hand. He understood the repairs I asked him to make and came up with several great solutions to accomplish those repairs. He charged less per hour than any other handyman I had contacted. He was thorough, cleaned up after himself and was very pleasant to be around. He made sure that I was satisfied with his work. But what pleased me most was the confidence with which he performed the repairs. At first, I was concerned about allowing a stranger to take apart my window frame (to fix two broken ropes in my double hung window) but he not only knew what he was doing, he explained what he was doing while he was doing it so I would feel confident of his skills.
He also noticed that a portion of the cabinet he was repairing the doors on was boding due to the weight of the items placed on top of the cabinet. He explained to me how he could insert supports to ensure that it would be sturdy and not collapse under the weight. He also took the time to reinforce the hardware to make sure everything remained in tact until he could come back and insert the supports. I am very impressed by the care with which he performs his tasks.
I would recommend Jason’s services to anyone looking for a reliable, honest and professional handyman (carpenter) who communicates extremely well and takes the time to explain how things work.

Jason is a great handyman and an absolute pleasure to work with. He’s reliable, efficient and professional. He’s also very reasonably priced.
My wife and I hired him to do several odd jobs on the way out of our apartment, including filling holes in walls and fixing scratches in wood floors. He was previously a handyman for a management company in town, so he put us at ease by explaining his repairs and why each would be satisfactory.

I hired Jason to fix a dresser of mine that four of us had previously assembled but couldn’t quite figure out the last couple pieces. He was very efficient and got the job done in a half hour only to ask what else he couple help with around the house. He brought his own tools and didn’t require any assistance. Would definitely hire him again in the future!

I originally called Jason to fix my bedroom light but the day before he was planning to come over my roommate locked herself out of her room so I called Jason to see if he could help. He showed up within the hour to help! My roommate got in to her room and my light was fixed at that time. both tasks were done in an hour.
The prices are reasonable and fair, he works fast, cleans up, shows up on time, and always returns phone calls.
Turns out he has experience making/​repairing furniture and fixed my 1954 dressing table few days later.
He’s awesome.

Courteous, professional, on time, reasonable, fair and a good communicator are all appropriate descriptors of Jason. I had a very small job that he took care of in a snap. He’s a good dude and I’ll be calling him again.

Jason is awesome! I called him to fix our faucet and he came over within 15 minutes! Then not only did he do that but he was able to pinpoint issues that I was having with my floor and lighting that I had thought could never be fixed. He’s a rockstar!

I would recommend a very handy guy to anyone. We had quite a few projects and a few emergencies that my wife and I needed help with while living in San Francisco. He was always there to help. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We called him our resident expert. Wish he would move to Tampa FL to help us with some home improvement projects out here.

Jason is professional, friendly, honest and does a great job fixing whatever is broken… from toilets to those rickety windows we’re all so familiar with in SF. We’ve had several great experiences with Jason. I’d confidently recommend him if you want the job done thoroughly and hassle-​free.

He has worked in my building for a while now, fixing the things that break in this 100+ year old place. Quick, friendly, efficient, and skilled. Good reliable service. I’d pay good money for his work, if my landlord didn’t for me.

Yet another handyman service that doesn’t return customer phone calls. Even if Jason was booked or my job wasn’t big enough for him, I would have liked him to call me back and let me know — professional courtesy and all. Ignoring a potential customer — one who might become a loyal customer if the service provided is good — seems like bad business to me. Shaking my head here…
