I had such a pleasant experience with Rose today, I couldn’t wait to review! Went in with a groupon for a facial and it’s safe to say I’ll be back for more. Rose is very sweet and professional. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The facial itself was relaxing and included a hand and neck massage. My skin felt and looked really good after, so much better than when I walked in. I particularly liked the cucumber eye pads and the cooling mask that she used. I admitted one of my bad habits to Rose that I do, or should I say– don’t always do, with my skin care régime, and thankfully she was so non-​judgmental. I have to been to other estheticians where they make you feel bad if you’re not strict about a certain régime, not Rose. She recommended a product for me that I ended up buying and cant wait to see what the results will be. There was a small hiccup in payment but it was miscommunication on my part and she handled it excellently. Visit A Bella New, groupon or not!

What a sweet lady! Loved her work. So gentle and has a great energy. She loves what she does and it shows it through her work. Would definitely go back to her. She has a beautiful designed place right next to Macy’s. Very convenient location.

Rose is fantastic – her skills as an esthetician, knowledge of skin and products, and her personality, too. I enjoyed everything about the visit-​the environment, the facial, the conversation, etc. I will definitely be going back. She loves what she does and it shows.

Rose is awesome! I’ve been going to her for months to keep up with my amazing lash extensions. They look so natural and I’m constantly getting compliments! Great service, great location, great person!

First off, Rose is so sweet and accommodating. I loved how she listened to what I wanted and didn’t want and stayed within my budget. I got amazing, natural eyelash extensions! I’m so happy :)

I’ve never had nicer brows or better service! I have the worlds ugliest brows but Rose is wonderful and she is working with me to do a long term eyebrow makeover. She really knows her stuff! I highly recommend A Bella New.

Rose is really nice and sweet. The experience was great — good atmosphere, a little neck rub and some aromatherapy at the end. Also the perfect mix of talking and quiet. And that is hard to find! :)
However, the eyelash extensions were not what I am used to getting. For the most part, they look great. But my eyes were glued together pretty bad in each corner. Also, i had something irritating my eye all day and when i looked in a magnifying mirror, i saw it was one of my eyelashes that was stray, but caught in a clump of glue in the outer corner of my eye. I tried to pull it out gently, but ended up ripping an eyelash with its extension along the way. Ow! I got the extensions through a groupon, but doubt i would go back as there are plenty of folks who do this service and dont get so much glue everywhere.

Rose is great! I made an appointment just for my brows, and asked if she had enough time for a facial last minute. Rose was very accommodating. A facial is just what my stressed-​out and broken-​out skin needed. The extractions were gentle. My face looked at least 50 percent less scary than when I walked in. looking forward to coming back.

I came in to see Rose to have my eyelash extensions removed. I loved having them, but due to my schedule I could not make the trek to the East Bay to see the aesthetician that originally did them. I wanted to return back to my natural lashes, and the extensions had been growing out and started looking squirrelly and uneven. Rose did an amazing job with the removal, it was painless and relaxing, and she even gave me a neck and shoulder massage while we waited for the lash adhesive remover to do its thing. After the lash extension removal was complete, she gave me a complimentary brow trim! Had a great time chatting with Rose, she is super personable and friendly, the salon is super clean and smells great, and it’s centrally located and easy to get to. Definitely will be considering one of her facials the next time I want to pamper myself!

For beginners, I’m a little spa-​shy. And vanity is not really my thing, but these brows and ‘stache that seem to run more and more wild on my facescape as years go by needed some attention. A friend of mine referred me to Rose, A Bella New being near my job I decided to give it a shot. I made an appointment for some waxing. I immediately felt comfortable with Rose and I loved the vibe of A Bella New. I didn’t feel intimidated or that I’d entered the wrong place. She brought be in and in no time, I was waxed and on my way. In comparison to other like-​services in the city, Rose’s prices are extremely competitive. I made an appointment to comeback for an eyebrow tint. I’m on my way to looking girlie!

I had a very pleasurable experience at A Bella New. Rose is a master of her craft. I have not had my eyebrows cleaned up in a very long time. My friend referred me to her because he said he had just gotten his done. I decided to give her a try. Rose started off with a consultation. She wanted to make sure that I was comfortable before she began anything. My main goal was to have them cleaned up, but I did not want to look manicured. She was also concerned with the products the I currently use on my face. I learned something– The face wash with glycolic Acid that I use on a daily bases leaves your skin a little sensitive. That is very useful information as I must be cautious with what products are used on my face by technicians. Rose used a wax that was compatible with my skin type. Being that I have sensitive skin I expected to be a little red afterwards. To my surprise I have absolutely no redness. Im also extremely pleased with the work that was performed. A nice fresh eyebrow appearance without the over manicured look. I highly recommend Rose at A Bella New for all men who feel the same as me.

Found her on Unilocal and despite her 3.5 stars, she was flexible on time and conveniently located to my job. Her space is cute and clean and smelled great. The wax was quick (and as painless as it could be) and I was back at work before the end of my break.

I am «blessed» with bountiful eye brows and believe it or not am extremely picky about the way they are waxed. I’ve had too many people want to do crazy things with them (I sound like a freak but I’m not). I’ve also had my fair share of awful, good and great estheticians. Rose easily falls into the latter category. Her place is bright, clean and comfortable. She eased my concerns and seemed to understand my reservations. She was thoughtful and prudent in her approach. The shape was perfect. My skin didn’t even redden after wards. I’m eager to schedule a facial with her.

Rose is thoughtful, sweet, considerate and great at her job! I went to her the first time because of a LifeBooker eyelash extension deal but now am a client and get my brows done there too.

I bought a full set of mink lashes and Rose did not apply them fully. I ended up walking out of there like Tammy Faye Bakker with super long sparse spider looking lashes. I would’ve asked her to remove them but she rushed me out of there saying she has another client coming in. She should be really embarrassed with her half-​assed job. She hyped herself up saying all these people go to her but she is all talk. It was a horrible job. She applied about 25 pieces of 16 mm extensions to my small Asian eyes. What is she insane? I took pictures of it and it is in the photo section of this Unilocal page. Please take a look at them. Needless to say I went elsewhere and they removed them and applied new ones. The new gal applied 5 different length’s and the longest length only being about 12 mm. They were full and beautiful. I think Rose needs more training or maybe consider not doing extensions at all if she doesn’t have an eye for it. Seriously.

I think the 3 stars I see for this spa are an error, as I have seen several 5 star reviews for it that appear to be missing as well… And, let me just say, it is everything you would expect with high reviews: professional, yet personal, neat and clean, convenient location and the owner, Rose, is very knowledgeable! I doubt I will look further now.

I LOVE my lashes. They look very natural. My mom accompanied me to the Spa and she fell in love with the calm environment. I fell asleep, woke myself up snoring it was so relaxing but my lashes were very luscious. Thanks Rose
