I was driving looking on a Sunday morning in the San Fernando area looking for something new to try. I was glad to try this place out, the food was great. Just wanted to try out something local the going to the usual dennys and ihop chain breakfast joints. Is a small joint but great food.

I love pancake heaven! Definitely lives up to expectations of what a pancake should be!

Very small restaurant with a long wait during busy times. The waitress we had was very accommodating and often checked up on our needs. The food was good and the coffee was good. I would recommend this place but only during slow times.

Small restaurant with great tasting food. Only downside was the wait… but the food was made to order and perfectly cooked. My new go-to breakfast spot!

Hold on You need to read this. This place is small. If you come on a busy day. You will be standing outside. The place is a little old. But what they have not put money on the building they have on their breakfast. I sat alone at a table. I felt bad for the people waiting. But I got there first. The special of the morning was a pastrami egg bagel sandwich. I got it with no sauerkraut. In the middle of me waiting for my food to come out, I kept noticing these elaborate pancakes coming out. So many people ordering them. I had to get a side of some. My bagel sandwich comes out and everything I imagined came true to my mouth. What a great idea. The potatoes were ok to me. Now If Julie was here, she would have argued with me. I didn’t know they would have onions. They were big enough for me to scoot to the side. So midway into my breakfast I got my pancake that I had ordered late. It was the size of my plate. I put butter on it and later some syrup while I finished my Pastrami egg bagel. I was almost done with my sandwich. I decided that I should try it before it got cold. Glad I did. It was so good. I almost ordered another one. But I was getting full. I saw why people always got pancakes here. So glad I wandered in. If you are near by. Go ahead and stop in. The outside doesn’t look like much. But the inside is serving a whole lot of greatness for your mouth.

What kind of breakfast place opens at 9am? I was hoping for more from the remodel.

The food is good, a bit pricey for the area. But the wait for the food and service was horrible. I won’t come back

Great breakfast place– I will definitely be back! Not fancy, but super cute in almost a retro way. Affordable and delicious breakfast basics.

I was referred by a friend, and was excited to try their breakfast… SODISAPPOINTED! My California omelette was scrambled egss with a little bacon mixed in with a slice of processed American cheese on the top, SMH. I should have stuck to my usual breakfast spot, The Olympic about a 1 mile away. The portion size was tiny for the price — my coworker paid $ 8.50 for 2 scrambled eggs with hash browns, portion size for a 2 year old. I got my order to-go for myself and my coworker, so there was no way of sending it back. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

It had been years since I ate here last. I was hoping that with the renovation would come some good food, but it was just ok. I ordered the eggs benedict and the hollandaise tasted like it was from a packet, not made from scratch. The home fries that came with the meal lacked salt. The portions are generous but the flavor needs some execution. Servers were really friendly. I really hope they get the food done right. I love supporting local and breakfast options in the area are few.

It is a usual pancake/breakfast place. Pancakes taste like IHOP’s.The service was good and the place was clean.

This morning, I’m checking into Pancake Heaven, which now called Heanvenly Pancake by the way. Everyone keeps confusing this place with the previous old owners name. Anyway, this is one of the last remains of a sylmar legacy besides that James place. I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid. I love the steak and eggs. Cause i’m a carnivor, raaaar! lol. if you don’t know what’s up, give this place a try, its a cool change. Now back to my breakfeast. mmmmm!

I got pancakes and bacon and it all tasted like it was frozen and just popped into the microwave. I expected so much more from this place.

I have been eating at Heavenly Pancakes for years. The food is great and the service is friendly. The owner, Victor, previously worked at the Four Seasons Restaurant in LA and he is always creating delicious breakfast and lunch specials. My favorites are the eggs benedict and country fried steak and eggs.

Seriously Pancakes are just a little taste of Heaven :] ‘Pancake Heaven’ is just that, their pancakes are always good. My absolute favorite ever since I was young and came here are the Chocolate Chip Pancakes. I’ve gone to other places and tried other chocolate chip pancakes but all fail in comparison to these awesome cakes. Their specials always sound really amazing, the other day they had crab meat and asparagus and some other really tasty sounding meals. Again being a dedicated chocolate chip pancake lover, I order that. The service is always really friendly and very welcoming. They do get a little crazy in here on the weekends and especially on Sundays after 12pm or so(or whenever church lets out). Great family restaurant :] or for a breakfast date :] Enjoy!!!
