Anatoly Vaisman, DDS

I am an orthodontist and I have many mutual cases with Dr. Vaisman. He is a very talented and meticulous dentist. He performs excellent dental work and all of his patients rave about his wonderful personality. He has a great staff members that make you feel at home when you are in his office. Be sure to see him. You will be happy you did!

I had two implants performed by Dr. Vaisman. Implants in the front of the mouth should look nice and natural. The second implant performed by Dr. Vaisman looks shorter then the other teeth. This is because he had to re do the crown because it chipped with in a week. The second crown is shorter and looks terrible. When I approached Dr. Vaisman about this and re doing the crown he tried to justify why he made the crown the way it was made. I expected the crown would conform to my other front teeth that are perfect. In early April one of my molars broke off at the gum line. I made an appointment with Dr. Vaisman. I needed an new implant on the broken tooth and again inquired about replacing the crown in the front. Dr. Vaisman was quite interested in replacing the new implant but when we discussed the one in the front of the mouth he attached a hefty fee to replace it. The tooth looks terrible. My thinking was I would give him another chance. I scheduled an appointment with another Doctor. who assured me he could with ease re do the crown. I will have to pay for it but it will be worth it. I called Dr. Vaisman office and requested a copy of my medical file which by law I am entitled to but to this day I have not received it. My opinion forget this guy. I believe initially I was charmed by his sense of humor and remembered him for this but when I complained about his work he dismissed me and my concerns.

Incredible dentist!!! He straightened my teeth in 8 months and a year later I’m very very happy still. He has a great sense of humor and does a wonderful job. You’ll never want another dentist.

Best, just best dentist out there. I used to hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Vaisman is so efficient, quick and sooooo funny that the experience was great. Would recommend this Dentist to everyone!!!

I originally found his business through Groupon and thought I’d give it a try since he had the best deal for the 6 month smile braces. I went to the consultation, he was helpful and honest. After the consultation, I needed to find out if they are honoring the price that was provided on Groupon. The receptionist mentioned that the Groupon price applies for patients that don’t need much movement in their teeth. Hence, when he spoke to me — he mentioned that I don’t need braces because my teeth are good. The price went from $ 1,399 to $ 2,700. I requested for a estimate to be emailed and they never emailed me such quote. Two weeks later, they called mentioning they did not have my email and I confirmed that was the correct email address and yet I’m still waiting for that quote. I don’t recommend it and I wouldn’t trust it. False advertisement overall.

I was put off simply by an inquiry on services from this dental office. After 3 attempts on different days to obtain simple information I was replied finally by email with a short rude message of I need to call to schedule an appointment to get my questions answered ! Bad business

Absolutely love Dr. Vaisman. Went in for 6 month smiles due to a gap in my two front teeth and 7 months later (my teeth were being stubborn) my teeth are absolutely beautiful. I have a missing tooth on the left side of my mouth from cracking it in my sleep and I definitely will be going to Dr. Vaisman for my implant. Super friendly staff and prices arent ridiculous. My regular dentist quoted my implant at 10,000 $ while Dr. Vaisman quoted me for 1300 $. This will eventually become my primary dentist! Thank you for everything Dr. Vaisman!

Dr. Vaisman is amazing!!! Today I got my braces removed and I couldn’t be more happier with the results. Dr. Vaisman and his staff made the process enjoyable and smooth. I highly recommend Dr. Vaisman for your dental needs. I am now a customer for life!

Late post from two weeks ago.
Came to get a cleaning and teeth filling for my two children. Adam at 8 years old gets his first cavity filled, while my daughter Ariana 4 years old gets 4 cavities! I know right what happy there!
The dentist was so nice and patient with Ariana explaining every step of the process being 4 years old and all. Thank you very much for taking your time.
It turns out that: I had Ariana brushing her teeth with Toms toothpaste which has no fluoride to protect against cavities, I had no idea. So glad to get this information at the dentist. Cavities got filled kids were happy. Now time to get some child toothpaste with fluoride.

First, I came here to get a consultation on veneers. I met with dr. Vaisman. Initially I thought he was a great dentist he convinced me it would be better to go with braces. Stating it would be a lot cheaper. So we scheduled my appointment for the 6 month braces.
Now, to set an appointment they needed a down payment of $ 150. Which I was ok with. So I proceed with payment. Now it’s appointment day for my braces. He tells me I need deep cleaning before we can proceed with braces. In my opinion he should’ve initially told me this prior in scheduling an appointment and having me come for him to simply state I need deep cleaning. So that day was a waste of time. We ended up scheduling another appointment for cleaning.
Now it’s the second appointment — I have a deep cleaning on 8 – 10 of my teeth from another dentist that works there. He tells me he’s going to have to stop at the 8 – 10 teeth because of a lot of bleeding on my gums and I should go up to the receptionist (Maria I believe) to have another appointment scheduled for cleaning.
So Maria schedules another appointment for me to come in a week later. Once I get there Dr. Vaisman sees me and I guess we didn’t have to do the rest of the cleaning. So I’m here waiting in the room thinking he would be putting on my braces. He comes in with the equipment (brackets and wires) then ends up not doing my braces at all that day. Simply talks to me for 15 minutes and pretty much runs away to help another patient. I’m guessing his schedule was so busy and he didn’t think ahead of time that braces would take an hour or so of putting them on. So that ended up being another day wasted for nothing at all.
We end up scheduling another appointment through Maria. By the way, the receptionist Maria is very rude and disrespectful. She doesn’t allow you to talk and will talk over you consistently.
Next appointment, dr. Vaisman comes in and tells me that he’s going to have to put a palatal expander in my mouth. (Something he didn’t mention at all in the previous appointments and consultation) I was very surprised and pissed off at the same time that I was not notified of this at all. I ask him to put it in but not to glue it so I can see how it would feel. I asked him how long I would need it and I also told him I’ve heard that it impairs your speech. He states no longer than 3 months, and as for speech, it won’t effect anything he even stated it may even get better. (No clue as to what he is saying at this point when stating it may even get better)
So he puts it on and I literally can’t pronounce a lot of my words and its very hard to talk. At this point I said screw it, If it’s necessary I’ll do it. So I tell him lets do the braces. I even state I feel like my mouth is getting used to it and I’m able to pronounce some of the words a bit better (within 20 minutes). He tells me actually your speech is very impaired (?) then tells me we actually can’t put the braces on today since we wasted a lot of time talking. I told him we wasted a total of 20 minutes and on top of that I WASNT TOLD I WOULD NEED THIS THING! Obviously I’m going to have questions and concerns when you pop out with this thing and tell me I need it after 3 – 4 times of seeing you. He tells me I completely understand your concern… Thanks.
On top of all this. He says. Maybe braces aren’t for you, they’re not for everyone and also says that I may need the expander for 8 months. (What happened to 3 months??) In my head I’m thinking why is he trying to persuade me on not doing all this now when he was convincing me to do the braces. Kind of suspicious. I tell him no I do want to do this. He says go to the front desk to Maria and she will schedule an appointment. We schedule another appointment. I wasn’t able to make this appointment so I called and asked to reschedule.
Now we rescheduled and something had came up (work) and this appointment was for 2 weeks later not 1 week like the usual and I had completely forgotten about the appointment and wasn’t able to show up.
So I call in a couple days later and told the receptionist i apologize I wasn’t able to make it in and explained why. So I scheduled another appointment for 3 weeks later.
After 2 days of scheduling the appointment I get a call from Maria. She says due to the fact you weren’t able to show up for your last appointment. We are unable to provide you dental service and recommend you go to someone else.
I keep asking why, and she wouldn’t even let me talk, she just goes ahead and cancels my appointment. I finally get to say a few words and at this point I was so frustrated I said ok give me my $ 150 back. She says we already did your deep cleaning. I said oh you mean the 8 teeth? Also something I never asked or wanted initially. Which I had only gotten because I wanted braces. You guys made me get the cleaning. Now everything made sense they pulled me in to simply get quick cash.
AVOID THIS PLACE! Kept my money

Dr. Vaisman will give you an HONEST opinion even if it means losing money that he could have made from you. He will listen to you and make sure that you leave with your questions and concerns answered. His staff is very professional, considerate and efficient as well. I give Dr. Vaisman and his medical staff 5 stars, hands down. :)

If I could give Dr. Vaisman more then 5 stars I would! I just took off my 6 month smiles braces and am completely in love with the results! Dr. Vaisman and his professional staff went beyond my expectations. I had braces before and didn’t wear my retainers and now as an adult it came back to haunt me. So I scheduled an appointment and during my consult, Dr. Vaisman carefully explained what the end results would be and made the process very simple and he has a great sense of humor. I was a little hesitant about getting braces as a 26 year old but he ensured me that it would only be four months for my case and the braces were barely visible when he put them on. Absolutely no discomfort compared to the traditional braces I had and half the time I forgot I had them on. His staff is also very nice and accommodating with my crazy schedule. Very pleased with my results and am so excited that I don’t have to hide my smile anymore and all it took was four months! I will gladly go to Dr. Vaisman with all my dental needs.

I love the Dentist! How many times do you hear that! I’ve known Anatoly for quite a few years, he’s great. Not only as a dentist but a great friend and person, and funny as anything. He knows what he is doing, extremely professional and makes you feel right at home in the office. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I’ve been going here for quite a few years and they feel like family, I enjoy coming every 6 months for a check up cleaning and to catch up socially. I know some dread doing to the Dentist but I dig it!
I recommend my friends to go to keep their dental health in check!
The office does everything from general cleaning, x-​Rays, to cosmetic dentistry, with the latest technology, they have a cat scan machine in the office!

technologically and uses the latest tools dentistry has to offer. Dr. Vaisman has a lot
of fun with his patients and staff creating a relaxed atmosphere. I would highly

Finding a good dentist is not easy. Trial and error is not usually recommend in this area:) Dr. Vaisman is one of the all around best dentists here in LA. It’s a bit of a drive from Hollywood, but it’s so worth it. He has seen me through room canals, veneers, dental implants, and more. He’s got an amazing bedside manner and great sense of humor and thanks for him I’ve got an amazing smile. The office works efficiently and the people there are really nice. No surprises. No wasting of your time. Just amazing work. I like that he is really knowledgeable and thorough and most importantly he does wonderful work and quick. If you’ve got to go to the dentist, go to this guy. I’ve been going to him for 6 years and I will never go to anyone else.

Dr. Vaisman is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I highly recommend him.
I went to see him after I had a horrible experience at a previous dentist. My previous dentist was negligent and failed to tell me I had cavities until I needed 2 root canals. I had never had a cavity before in my life and I wasn’t going to let someone I didn’t trust drill into my teeth. I got my records and searched out a new dentist… I’m so thankful that I found Dr. Vaisman after that.
Dr. Vaisman was super funny and nice, and knew how nervous I was, especially since I had never had any previous dental work. I ended up only needing one root canal, and to be honest I didn’t know I was having one till it was over and he told me I needed to come back for the crown. Sure I was sore later but the actual process wasn’t bad. He made sure I was relaxed and as comfortable as I could be under the circumstances.
The other 2 cavities I had were a breeze to fill since he used a laser (which was awesome) especially because there was no shots, and the best part NO PAIN! It took less than 15 mins and I was eating a hamberger with no problems an hour later.
Going to the dentist doesn’t seem as scary or nerve wracking anymore because I know I’m in good hands.

I haven’t seen this dentist in a while as I decided to let my teeth go to hell. Just kidding. I was compelled however to to write rave reviews to the businesses that I frequented in the past and this doc topped the charts. He was very thorough, the staff was super nice, and he was very affordable. Anything less than 5 stars is a crime and should be punishable by root canal… just a thought.
Anyway, I highly recommend this dentist and if I was still in the area this would definitely be the place I’d go.

This is my new favorite dentist! It’s a bit of a drive, the offices are not the most modern, but the technology is and the efficiency of the staff make it worth leaving the west side.
Dr. Vaisman is hilarious and has a wonderful bedside manner with children and adults alike. His technicians are professional and friendly as well. My initial x-​rays were a breeze, and my cleaning was awesome.
Both times I was seen within 5 minutes or less, and my actual cleaning took just 26 minutes from start to finish. Delilah was great!
P. S. I found them to be very accommodating. I was in the process of getting new dental insurance through CIGNA, but did not have my card or member # yet so they had to look me up via SSN. They were very cool about the whole thing, even when my employer didn’t have my SSN linked correctly and they had to wait another week for the correction so they could bill CIGNA.
