I come here for the authentic tacos de barbacoa. You can order them squishy or hard shell. I can’t tell what style I love the most. (Bring cash) Sometimes there’s no parking but don’t let that discourage you from trying the tacos de barbacoa they’re delicious just like the ones in Guadalajara.

Tortas ahogadas are too small for the price. The carnitas are lacking flavor. The tacos de barbacoa on the other hand are very tasty.

Very tiny and easy to miss no-frills place. Had the potato and carnitas tacos which came smothered in cabbage, onions and lime – delicious! Carnitas were tasty and lean, and I liked the mashed potato inside the crispy taco. I’ll return very soon to try their speciality tortas. Outdoor seating on picnic tables beneath a tarp. Probably cash only. A hidden gem!

Tried it again and I was surprised to find that I liked it even more than I thought. I couldn’t leave it and 4 stars so I upgraded it to 5. Everyone in the area should try one of their Tortas Ahogadas(standard tortas are made with pork carnitas).
