I have been a client of XPert Colorists for 7 years. Susan is the best! Every time I feel like something new, color, cut, or both, Susan always executes well what I envision. Everyone there is very friendly and professional. I recommend it 100%

I want to share my experience with my professional hair stylist, Leila. I have been going to this salon for the past 2 years and I love my hair color and cut. Leila is young and her experience adds a magical touch to my hair. I am cautious when choosing my stylist since this is my image and I like when my hair color is 100% right. She is on point with my highlights, since I don’t like it when the highlights look brassy and she always gives me that «fashionable» look. You ask and she delivers. She is fair with her prices too.

Well. Let me start off by saying Aze the stylist was fine. But this business is a joke. Called and made an appointment after seeing price for cut and blowdry as $ 35 online, and inquired also about getting my blonde ombré touched up. The lady clearly didn’t understand my very basic style request over the phone and thought I meant I wanted to color my hair «amber»…even after explaining that the blonde is just the bottom half of my hair.
That aside, when I arrive and she realizes what I meant she gives me a muuccchhh higher price than I was willing to pay.
My hair is already blonde, it doesn’t take much at all to get the lighter blonde ombré look. So then my stylist and the manager spoke the entire time in another language, which for a business in Los Angeles, a mutlicultural area, is EXTREMELY rude. Not once did I hear them mention anything about my service (because obviously I can’t speak their language), yet when it came time for me to pay, I was told by my stylist that the manager told her to charge me $ 45 for a cut and blow dry. It’s an alright haircut, but not worth $ 45. AT ALL.
Shady business practices are a no-​go with me. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Susan did an amazing job! I wanted a simple ombré and it turned out a lot better than I expected! She’s very nice and I even got a free haircut because it was my first time! Fantastic place!

I got my eyelash extensions done by Leah and I feel like a princess. A bad ass princess. I’m really happy with the result. It’s not as dramatic as the fake lashes but I love how natural it looks and I look pretty when I wake up.
The work is on point so you’ll have to make a reservation. The best part is getting superb quality in a fraction of the price. These eyelash extensions are seriously the greatest investment. Yay for pretty eyelashes!!!

This place is amazing. Everybody was so friendly and did a great job. Recommended as well. Go and ask for Susan.

When I used to live nearby, I wanted to try this new haircut place. I was gullible because their advertisement outside the store was nice. Once I got in I had to wait till the woman who would cut my hair was off break.
I told her what I wanted for a hairstyle and she said she knew how to do it.
I was crying on the inside because it turned out like Dora’s (Dora the Explorer) hair. Both even on the sides including the back, as supposed to me wanting it as very short at the back and layered long on the sides with bangs on the left side.
It was expensive and she did my haircut wrong. Ugh, my hair would grow back and I’ll just stick to the hair salon I always go to not here.

This salon is great with great people, they try very hard to satisfy every client. It’s sad that some people try and put up negative comments in retailiation of personal issues. Most are seasoned stylist… stop in sometime and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed… promise:-)

I have been coming here for over 3 years. I was referred by My mothers co-​worker after I had a lot of damage done to my hair by other salons. I have black/​brown hair naturally. So many salons have tried to get my hair blonde without making it Orange! Only Susan is able to do the color just right!!! Even my mother is unable to see me with dark hair because of how incredible she leaves my hair. And let me not forget to mention that my hair is long and healthy. I don’t know how she does it but she makes «magic» every time she does my hair. Thanks you Susan for being the BEST OF THE BEST!!!

Worst customer service ever!!! My gf asked them how long would it take to curl her hair. They said 45min. She told them it would only take her 20min at home but the machine was broken today. The hairdresser then sarcastically told her that if so, go to Target and buy a new one to do her hair so it would be cheaper and quicker. Unbelievable!!!
Thats it. I will never come back.

Super excited about my hair! I am very nervous about change and Kristine totally made me feel comfortable! She made my hair look great. I really am glad that I found this place! The owner even came over and said how nice my hair looks. Very nice place and they do a great job. I will definitely go back! Thank you Kristine… you did an awesome job!

I went to the salon yesterday, and saw the colorist Kristine, let me just say she i amazing… Great addition to that shop!

I have been a loyal customer of Susan’s for a little over a year now. I was referred to her salon by a good friend who has been a customer for years. I like to change things up every so often with my hair, and so far, no matter what I’ve wanted, Susan has always delivered. Color, cut, highlights, styling, you name it. And I am typically not that easy to please when it comes to my hair. I am surprised to read all these bad reviews, because every time I am there, the atmosphere seems to be good, and customers seem to leave happy. I would definately recommend her salon to my friends and family.

This has absolutely have to be the worse place in the valley … Horrible customer service, horrible employees …
I attempted to get my eyebrows tattooed .
I was told to return in 1 month for a retouch. Ok fair enough. When the month was up i could not reach her via text or call until i accidentally bumped into her at the salon. REALLY? By then the «tattoo» had faded. Second time around was worse. She actually tried to convince me that my body was just not accepting the ink or tattoo. Are kidding me my whole body is full of tattoos. The owner was of no help. In fact in the middle of our discussions, she starts speaking in another language (have no idea what she said) HOW RUDE IS THIS! I was not requesting my money back at this time. Just wanted my FACE fixed. It’s my face !!!
I can not give them less than 1 star. I am being extremely generous

I’ve been coming to this salon for about a year now & I absolutely love it. I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews.
I’ve gotten my hair done for events, cut & color. I’ve never been more please. Manijeh (Aka Mimi) is a great stylist. I’d give her ten stars if I could.

My first trip there, I didn’t know anyone and had no friends who had been there. I took a shot in the dark… walked in without an appointment and basically said «bring me into the 21^st Century» I was tired of looking like some 1960’s old hag… (I’ve been home-​coloring my own hair) and I had no idea what to do to look «with the times.» Mimi set me down in the chair listened to me explain about my hair… the usual… don’t cut the bangs too short… give me something that will make my hair look alive again… I wanted it shorter but not hacked off… She was AWESOME! She gave me the perfect look, easy for me to style… threw in the just right amount of highlights and I had tons of compliments about how much younger I looked.
I returned today and again she was just wonderful. More compliments and I’m truly grateful I found this shop. Mimi is a precious person and I just adore her. Everyone who works there is nice– they all had a smile for me and they were very friendly. I read all the comments below and it doesn’t even begin to mirror what I experienced. I watched several clients finish up and they were just stunningly beautiful. These hair stylists know their stuff… give them a whirl. Yes a little more money than you might pay at some shops, but well worth their weight in gold.
I’m not even «middle class» when it comes to my finances but saving up to have my hair look this good is well worth it.

Really i think they need to be closed down. I walked in without an appointment looking to do a cute semi updo, with a few curls for an event i had later that evening.
My hair was damp from my shower that morning, so there was no need to wash it. After a SEMI blowdry, the lady (i think Kathy) started curling my hair. She finished curling and I asked if she can pin it up or put it up halfway and she couldn’t manage to do it! IT didn’t even seem like she wanted to try to either!
She used a clip and put my hair up with bumps everywhere and she went looking for bobbypins for 10 mins while i sat in the chair looking at the curls go flat! (come on you’re a salon shouldn’t you have bobbypins everywhere!) After being there for awhile i undid my hair with bumps and said i will figure something out at home!
When i went up to pay her she had the nerve to charge me $ 45! I looked at her and said $ 45 for curls!!? And she told me (with an attitude) they charge $ 35 just for a blowdry!
at this point i’m thinking I never asked you to blowdry my hair and if anything that should be included in the HAIR-​DO! the same HAIR DO that she COULDN“T DO! so i walked out of there with my full head of curls that were going flat – looking like a jungle woman!

Okay so I’ve been here twice. The first time I got my highlights redone it turned out to be «okay». I’m not a very picky person when it comes to my hair so I went again to get my hair straightened because it was CONVENIENT (close by home).
I do not remember her name… But I called early in the day and she said she was free and that I should come in within an hour. So I got there in time and ended up waiting close to TWO HOURS! I still waited because that day was the only time I had time off for a very long time. I finally got to sit in the chair and I told her I just wanted my straight hair back. She convinced me to get the «Brazilian blowout». She charged me $ 250 (I am a college student so that’s big money to me!!). This process took another 2 – 3 hours because she kept helping other customers. I was literally at that salon for almost 5 hours!!!
After that bad experience I washed my hair after 4 days (not suppose to wash your hair for 3days). My hair was still CURLY. Holy crap! I spent so much money for nothing.
I called and complained. But there was no way I could get my schedule clear again and besides I did not wanna go back!
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I am really not a hard customer to please, and I think I am very understanding when it comes to emergencys and not being able to make an appt.
HOWEVER, if you are not going to make the appointment, THE ONLY THING TO DO IS CALL — CALL CALL CALL
I was a new client to Margy — and I was 10 minutes early for my appt. Which the front office women (with no style sense to save her life btw) kindly informed me of —
By 5:40 I was turned off — and ready to walk but decided on 5 more minutes — 5:41 the front desk woman told me she would call her to find out where she was — She was on the freeway — at that point I decided that I obviously wasnt worth her time and was not going to spend my hard earned $$ on someone who obviously isnt in need of it =)
She wanted to speak to me on the phone — but at that point what do you say ??? I declined to speak to her and left …
She then proceeded to call my cell a few times to apologize — BLAH BLAH BLAH
As for the rest of the salon — It didnt feel professional at all, The women who work their are not of the calibar that I would expect from a hair /​nail salon /​I was honestly turned off from the moment I walked in — But again, I believe in giving people a chance … HA so much for that theory !!!
