Hmmm how can I make this Clear that EVERY ATHLETE OR ANYONE WHO IS IN PAIN needs to go here. I have been skateboarding longer then I have been walking. This also includes every other exrtreme sport, including weight lifting, that can destroy your body. For Years I would hurt myself, see my Orthopedic surgeon and have a 2+ week recovery. My best buddy recommended me to ESM and I had to try something new. Dr. Matt is a freak of nature! EVERY time i see him he fixes me up, makes the experience awesome and comfortable, ohh ya, and has me in the gym or back on the board within 2 days EVERY TIME! Thank you Matt for making life liveable!

I started looking for a new chiropractor when I got pregnant and started having back pain. I found one close to home in Valencia and after 6 visits with no change, I was getting discouraged. About that time I found out that my baby was breech and a friend of mine told me about her chiropractor in Woodland Hills and how he had success with helping babies to turn… I didn’t wanna make the drive from Valencia all the way to Woodland Hills but I really wanted to try to get the baby to turn so I went and after my first appointment with Dr. Bernstein I felt confident he was going to be able to help me. Well not only did the terrible back pain I was having go away (also thanks to the deep tissue work Dr. Bernstein’s assistant did, he was AWESOME), but 5 days before my scheduled c-​section my baby turned and put his head down! I visited a total of 5 times and I will definitely be going back. I now have my beautiful baby boy who I was able to deliver naturally and I know Dr. Bernstein played a part in that. He’s also got an awesome bedside manner and everyone at the office is super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Elite Sports Medicine for anyone looking for an awesome experience and great chiropractic work!

I see that Dr. Matt has a lot of fans and great reviews.
I went to his office a few times for an issue with my shoulder. The first visit address my should issue a little bit but I had not expected total reversal in one adjustment.
On the second visit he worked on some neck issues, this time cracking me fairly aggressively. Over the course of the next few hours and starting immediately after I left his office an excruciating sharp pain developed in my lower back.
I called his office the next day and went back for another visit hoping to do something to address that pain. I was told it was normal and part of working on my whole spine. The third adjustment did nothing to address the now debilitating pain in my lower back.
It has now been nearly a year and the pain has not subsided. Some days it is worse than others. I have never dealt with lower back pain like this before in my life. I am so sad because I have been doing everything in my power to try and heal. I have been unable to work out the way I used to and it seems to be taking over much of my life.
When I told Dr. Matt the pain was specifically related to the adjustment he was extremely patronizing. I am an adult woman in my 40s, I had never had pain like that before and it started within moments of leaving his office. It is never fun to write negative reviews but I wanted to say something.

Dr Matt Bernstein is excellent. I have never been a strong advocate of chiropractors until I went to his office. He is always available and will take the time to heal you as a patient. Often when I go in, its like seeing a friend vs a doctor which really helps with the comfort level of the patients. A very relaxed office, but with the professional touch that is needed. I recommend Matt to all my friends. I have noticed how friendly he is to all clients, and truly enjoys his work, and passion for caring for his clients.

Dr Matt takes great care of his patients. I’ve gone in multiple times when I had pulled something in my back and could barely stand. I always leave standing up straight and in much less pain.
Patients are treated like friends and you never feel like a number. Dr. Matt has also treated my 5-​year old who has scoliosis and is very gentle with him so he doesn’t get scared of another doctor.

Dr. Bernstein has a great thing going here. Friendly, caring, and helpful with anything you could possibly have. You name it, he can heal it! I’ve been coming to him for all my sports injuries, post-​op treatments, little tweaks, and simple maintenance for 8 years. There is no one better!

By far the best Chiropractic service I’ve ever had. I go regularly to see Dr. Matt about once a week to get adjusted. He cracks me so good but yet so easily and stress free. I never tense up when he adjusts me and I always feel great. Especially since I’m a very active person. So I am always putting my body through a lot of physical stress that regular Chiropractic adjustments help with. I highly recommend Dr. Matt Bernstein and his services.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bernstein for about 2 months and I’m confident he will fix my ailments. He is very knowledgable and makes you feel at home immediately. His office staff are all really nice and appointments are flexible and easy to schedule. I’m thrilled so far and would recommend his services highly.

I had a lower back pain that was radiating down my legs off and on for over a year. I had been to 2 chiropractors over that time, but they didn’t help. I just happened to notice the Elite Sports sign one day driving home and figured I’d try it out. When I meet Dr. B., he actually listened to my complaints and asked me to do a few movements, at which time, he explained to me what he thought I had and how he planned to correct the problem. He was very nice and informative, which was a nice change from the other two Drs.
Over the next 7 weeks, he treated and corrected the problem. It’s been over a year and I’m still pain free.
Dr. B. works with a masseur: Beau. I’m a massage junky. I’ve been to spas in Europe, Asia, and here and there in the US, including the nice Vegas ones (Qua, my fav). Beau hands down is the best. I’ve been getting deep tissue massages from Beau a few times a month since Dr. B. introduced us. He’s great. I’ve been ruined cause getting massages from anyone else just doesn’t compare.

My boyfriend and I came here after we got into a car accident and have been undergoing treatment from Dr. Bernstein for 3 weeks now. Dr. Bernstein is great and we feel very comfortable having him treat us post-​accident. He is professional and knowledgeable… made sure to take x-​rays before we started treatment, referred us to a personal injury attorney since we were involved in a hit & run, and monitors our progress every visit. So far our treatment has consisted of stem, adjustments, and therapeutic massage. Sara who works the front desk is great and super accommodating when it comes to making appointments. Our schedule is always changing and she works with us and let’s us change our appointment time as needed. I highly recommend this place!

i am seeing this doctor, matt bernstein, to hopefully turn my breech twins. he is very knowledgeable, explains his techniques fully and after one treatment, i already feel *different*. i am a skeptic when it comes to chiropractic medicine, not sure why… sometimes it just seems hokey.
i have to say that whatever went on today felt very professional and very effective. i left feeling quite positive that the treatment i am receiving will, in fact, aid in the turning of my persistently breech babies.
the office is very clean, has free parking behind the building, and is easy to find.
i will increase my review to five stars when one or both of these little ladies flips.*
ok so they didn’t flip, but dr. bernstein was the most hospitable, gentle, forthcoming and helpful chiro i’ve met to date. would love to return for just a little ‘me’ time.

Simply put this is the best place to get a true therapeutic massage! Beau is well versed in several massage modalities and he is the director of massage therapy in this medical facility. He works with a sports Doctor and will refer you to him if needed. He has several therapist that he supervises and all have been trained by him.

the massage therapist has every credential you could ask for. has state certification for every field of massage, not a cheap «walk on your back» sort of shop.
great massage and great price, couldn’t be happier.
