ARCO Gas am/pm

Gross! this place was nasty. there were little flies flying all over the food & the soda fountain. Do not eat there.

I wish I could give this less stars but no stars isn’t an option. This man. I don’t even know his name, I don’t even want to bother because currently he’s making me wait to pump air because he thinks I didn’t pay for gas. He literally just walked out to his car to get a cigarette. I don’t think he likes me. He’s smoking the cigarette now and I told him it isn’t working… HE GIVES NO FUCKS. Sure I didn’t have my receipt. But after I offered to show him my bank statement with gas stations info on it and he’s still fucking with me. This man is devoid of a soul. I hope my girl Karma gives him everything he deserves. I know people don’t read gas station reviews but if you do stay away from this one. Update: some fucking strangers just pulled up in there nice ass Lexus. Didn’t purchase gas and he turned it on for them in a heartbeat. This man needs to be stopped.

So I was just there to purchase some gas. 1^st off — why don’t they accept credit cards?!? They force you to pay with an ATM debit card with a .35 cent fee! 2^nd — before I got to select which grade of gas I would like, the grade of gas was picked for me. I was going to select regular and it forced me to purchase the unleaded plus. I immediately stopped to pump at 1 gallon and went inside to speak with the attendant named Anik (sp?). Apparently he was having issues with other pumps at the station and decided to shut down the entire station! When I addressed my issue with him and he became immediately irate & decided to give me the finger and told me to call customer service to handle it myself. He didn’t give me any information to the customer service number whatsoever. The Shell gas station up the street sells the same exact unleaded gasoline for eight cents less per gallon. Go there from now on because this Arco station apparently does not care about their customers. Instead they’d rather flip you the bird and tell you to handle it yourself.

«islam» who works there verbally berated & humiliated me infront of other customers because his atm machine ate my credit card and the machine would not give it back. his machine.
i did nothing wrong and was only trying to figure out how to get my card back. he was so rude!!!
i have written arco and am hoping to file a formal complaint.

I have been getting gas here for years.
I will no longer spend my money here.
I took my Big Ass Mug in like 3 days ago and filled with Diet Pop. The clerk looks at me shakes his head and tells me it’s not good for me. I smile and thank him for his concern and promptly inform him that he is a cashier not my friend, he is being paid to take my money not talk shit. Tonight he does the same only the bag needs to be switched. The guy tells me sold out maybe tomorrow maybe…
Then to make matters worse he waits til I am outside like him pointing at me is any less indication than actually hearing him that he is talking shit about me to some random customer. This is a tragedy. Absolutely appalling behavior like this should not be tolerated in any community. I mean where do people get the nerve to speak to strangers about strangers like this. I am so bummed this place is a block from me. Oh well 711 one block north and both Mobil & Chevron one block south. I have options as do the rest of the people that have been Inconvenienced at this convenience store.

This AMPM has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever encountered. The attendant is the most RUDE person I have ever met. I have continuously watched him be plain horrible to countless people, yell at them, treat people with absolute disrespect, throw items he scans toward a person’s direction after he scans the items, his demeanor is horrible, he never smiles, he is just a very mean and angry, miserable man. I live around the corner, this is my neighborhood gas station, and it’s unfortunate that I cannot walk right to my corner store. DO NOT SPEND ONE CENT HERE. This person needs to be replaced. I have called AMPM customer service to log a complain and emailed them. As I was leaving the store, I even heard other patrons by the pumps complain about how rude that guy is. So sad that people just cant be happy. YOU ARE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE BUDDY, LEAVE YOUR PROBLEMS AT HOME AND DO THE JOB YOU ARE BEING PAID TO DO. SMILE, IT WILL MAKE YOU A HAPPIER PERSON.

Do not go to this ampm. First off, the guy is a complete ASS! And they don’t take cards inside! Wth?! You can use a card for gas but if you’d like a coffee or a snack you better have cash. Who carries cash anymore?! No one. The credit card machines have 2 big signs on them that say «out of order». How about a sign on the damn door before I waste 10 min of my time making a coffee that I’m just gonna have to leave on the counter?!

Don’t come here! Poor customer service, had to ask the cashier 5 times before he finally processed my payment for gas!!! He was rude and couldn’t even communicate properly. They only take cash or MC debit. Take your business elsewhere. That’s why I stick to Chevron!

The owner is a rude horrible human being. I walked in and he was yelling at another costumer then it was my turn to pay he just looked at me and teals out cash only without me saying anything so I walked out.

«ANIK» that works here is a complete asshole. I greeted him with a genuine «hi how are ya?» and all he did was grunt, and did not make eye contact. I was waiting for my receipt and he was angry. «What do you want?!» –my receipt «you have to ask for it!!» I tried to tell him giving a receipt is usually automatic he got even more angry. Awesome customer service ANIK.

Whoever owns this operation should seriously rethink it. The staff is ALWAYS very rude, and conveniently has the debit/​credit machines «not working» at night… Shady if you ask me. I drove in on fumes and was treated rudely, and when I asked what I should do since my car clearly wouldn’t start having driven there on fumes, the cashier replied that he didn’t care and that it wasn’t his problem. Wow, just wow. Pay a few cents more elsewhere and spare yourself from being treated poorly.

the guy who works here is a complete a-​hole! my roommates and I usually go to arco to purchase some tobacco wraps/​cigarettes and he always gives us such a hard time. one time, he even called the cops on my roommate for NOTHING.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. thumbs down for terrible service.

Cheapest gas prices I have seen in Valley Village! This station can get a little sketchy at night so maybe have a buddy with you.

Anik is very rude every time I come here. He looks like he would rather be anywhere else

Wish prices were cheaper but that’s pretty much true at EVERY gas station. This place is fine, does the job and was in and out with a full tank in no time.

Convenient location just before the freeway.

Pretty standard as far as gas stations go. This Arco is ultra convenient and almost next door to the 170 freeways. I’ve been here all different hours and it’s never super busy. The only bone to pick I have with Arco stations in general is that you have to walk to a kiosk to pay for your gas, and there’s rarely anything to wash your windows with.
Other than that… It’s there when I need it when my gas tank is on E and I’m late for work.
