99 Cent Only Store

A hap-​hazard a chaotic MESS.
I know everyone would pretty much say that its a 99 cent store, my expectations shouldn’t be that high. But honestly, if you visit other locations in the Valley you’ll know what I am saying.
This was a disaster. I’ll give them some credit because my past visits have only happened during the holiday season, but I think that stores (no matter your price point) should still have pride in your product and your consumers. If you make the place look like crap you’ll get customers that will treat your store like crap.
Last time i was there i found bottles opened, products being stepped on in the aisles and NOTHING was organized. It was like a blind kid with ADD was trying to shop and put things away at the same time.
I never wanted to forget my shipping list more than when I was in this store.
I was so displease during one visit i just left my semi-​filled cart in the middle and walked away. I just really couldn’t deal with how messy, unorganized and unhelpful their staff was. I was just ready to get out.
Please, fix this store. I would love to come back, but until then I’ll be going elsewhere.

The policy of the store is appreciated. Everything or almost will cost you $ 0.99 but… This place, unluckily others belonging to the same chain, is always a mess! Everything looks so dismissed, not organized, they do not know the word CLEAN and it’s just miserable sometimes. The most of the people working there is always rude. Two stars for the plenty of parking in front.

It had the cheapest pineapple I’ve ever bought — at what else 99 cents, but their 18 eggs non-​organic non-​cagefree was the same price as any other store. Their produce deals are not necessarily better than other groceries stores but it is all conglomerated here. Their deals on junk food are pretty amazing-​decent. And if you are into pumpkin spice, you can’t go wrong here. It’s everywhere.
When I left I was so happy to get outta that claustrophobic messy store.
Since its next to Smart and Final it gets bumped up to 3 stars for sheer price comparison shopping ease, but as a stand alone, it’s 2 stars.

This was the most disappointing discount store I’ve ever entered and I will NOT be back. The giant «Easter headquarters» sign is completely false advertising and needs to be taken down. The whole place was dirty and disorganized, which I could have over looked if they had had ANYTHING I went in for.

You always come up on good stuff here.
Staff is nice. ALWAYS CHECK the experation date on the food products you buy though. Last time I got some donuts and they were expired. shame on me for not checking.
But all in all I like this place.

This 99c store has it all. Including long lines. There’s always a line. Even if there are more employees than shoppers. Not sure what’s going on there.
However, it has the same great bargains you’d expect to find in any of the cheapie marts out there. My favorite thing to go for is the holiday décor. I have bought strands of Halloween lights that I’ve seen at expensive Halloween stores for $ 13! Another great reason to shop here, party supplies, gift wrap, etc.
Theres nothing better than popping a target kids gift into a cute 99cent gift bag with tissue and be on your way.

This location sold my boyfriend expired moldy doughnuts beware! Poor guy got very very sick

DO NOT go to this location. It’s super ghetto, unorganized and the staff is unprofessional. AND they charge extra for balloons. There is a «helium fee». Not a 99 cent store!

There is a great Dollar Tree on Sherman Way. The staff there is friendly and the store is bigger and better stocked.

This 99-​cent store is smaller than most and has less of a selection than other stores in the chain, but it’s good enough for this neighborhood. It’s nice to have a choice, when the stores in my immediate neighborhood, about eight blocks away from here, are mercados and «corner grocery» stores that charge $ 5+ for a loaf of bread.

What can I say other than I visit this location at least once a day!!! It’s clean, organized, and the staff is super sweet and helpful!

One star because it’s close to my house. Another star because it’s cheap. Very convenient when I’m looking for snacks. Although I guess that’s to be expected from a dollar store. Finally, a third star because checkout is usually pretty fast and hassle-​less. Unfortunately, it’s in a crowded location, sharing a lot with a Smart & Final and Ralphs. And the people that hang out there are kind of shady.

I love 99 cent only stores… and this one is one of my faves. it’s clean, it usually has what I need and they are pretty friendly.

This is a goodie. Big, clean, organized, and it sells milk. There are also veggies in the back.
The way your shopping should go is like this. Stop in here. Go to Smart and Final next door to fill in the gaps. And then go the Ralphs next door on the other side to fill in the gaps of filling in the gaps.
Buy bread at the Armenian baker, and get your shoes done by the Russian shoemaker. Those are both in the little breezeway running to the parking lot in back. Seriously. You can take care of your whole life without leaving the parking lot.
My kinda routine. And you can’t beat the prices on canned beets.

Love the how organizedthe staff keeps the store, lived the variety in vegetables and fruit, and everything in between. Neat and clean 99 cent stores are not always easy to find.

This is my favorite 99 cent store. The people that work there are very nice. I come out the the area a couple times a week and always go in to get things.

Looks are deceiving. from the outside this looks like a huge 99Cent store but it’s not. two shopping carts in one aisle do not fix, but it’s clean, organized, well stocked and the customer service and clientele are decent. Parking can be an issue since it’s shared with a market and commercial market.

This store looks really new. The aisles are really narrow and crowded, but there are lots of goodies. This store is on the smaller side for a 99 cent only store. You have to look around and really take it all in to make sure you don’t miss a good deal. The store is cleaner than most other stores. I was able to find what I was looking for easily (calendars) and there was a nice selection. The parking was a bit of a pain and the cashiers were complaining about work, but other than that it was a pleasant experience.

What!!! A brand spankin’ new 99 cent store?!! Saaaweet!
I don’t know what happened to me. I used to be excited about first kisses, rainbows and a happy meal, now, I see a 99 cent store opening and I am giddy with glee. Pathetic. :)
But what’s not pathetic is how huge and great this new location is. Since it just opened its doors, it is fully stocked, clean and brilliant. I cleaned up on catering supplies and left only spending $ 16! Neat-​O.
Also, since it’s right next to the Smart N Final, it’s a win win to grab stuff you need on the cheap instead of paying more for the exact same thing about 30 steps away.
Yeah, I’m excited about this store. Maybe that’s lame, but oh well, it’s the little things in life :)
