Via Verde Dental

I have been coming to Dr. Bennett Jeong since he opened his practice… oh, so many decades ago. He and his staff are friendly and very professional! Over the years, in any emergency (cracked and chipped tooth), I’ve been able to get an appointment immediately… and then they call to check up on you later in the day. Now that’s caring for your patient! My favorite hygienist is Marla… she has the gentlest hands! Afterwards, Drs. Bennett, Kimberly, and/​or Craig will stop by to say hello.

Love love love these guys! I cannot say enough good things about Doc J and his team. It wouldn’t all fit anyhow. When I first called them, I was in serious need of some major dental work with about 1.5 weeks to get it all done and they made it happen no questions asked. Just today I called, in pain, and needed a same day spot and they worked it out. They even allowed me to bring my infant daughter with me once to get a cleaning cause my sitter cancelled on me. They go out of their way to make u as comfy as possibly and actually care about u and ur needs. They do not do work that isn’t needed which is probably the number 1 thing I look for in a dentist. I had a dentist tell me I needed 3 root canals. Doc J was honest and told me I didn’t need even one. Any dentist who is willing to be that honest with a patient, even when it means less money for them, is ace’s in my book. They even remember everything about u. They always ask how my daughter is. They remember her name and everything. They really do make u feel like family. I even have my mom going there now. If u want a great and honest dentist, go see Doc J! Out of all the dentists I’ve seen, and there have been many in my life, these guys are the best by far. Hands down!

Been coming to Dr. Bennett Jeong since I was a kid! There’s a reason why I keep coming back. He knows what he is doing! He is an experience expert in his field. When you come for your cleaning, get Marla! They got Dr. Foon and Dr. C Jeong too. Been a loyal customer for 25+ yrs and it’s worth the 20 mile commute (one way) to Via Verde Dental. This is the best dental clinic I have ever been! Dr. Jeong and Dr. Foon are the best dentists in town! They took good care of my teeth and gave me a lot of good advice. The frond desk are very nice and welcoming. The whole clinic is super clean and everything is just wonderful!

I have been going to Dr. Jeong and Dr. Foon for years, and they are both phenomenal dentists. The entire staff has always been friendly, they are personable and always welcoming. The quality of dental work is amazing; a few years ago I had a gum infection (due to my own neglect) that required deep cleaning. I am particularly sensitive to the pain and sounds of scraping, drilling and cleaning of teeth/​gums, and Dr. Foon ensured I was numb before they started. More importantly, each dental chair has its own TV with cable. I was handed the remote control to choose whatever I wanted to watch, and was able to plug in my noise-​cancelling headphones so I couldn’t hear while she worked. Not being able to hear the dental instruments made what would ordinarily be a nightmare into a bearable experience. I truly cannot say enough positive things about Via Verde Dental, thank you Dr. Jeong and Dr. Foon!

I have been going to Dr. Jeong’s practice for many decades. Bennett was one of those child prodigies that while he was in the cradle he showed interest in dentistry. He loved to sharpen his teeth on the vertical supports in his crib. When he removed his own baby teeth with kite string, we knew he was headed for greatness. I recall his parents would give him a quarter for a baby tooth that falls out and $ 100 if he did the handiwork. He had a lot of baby teeth, so where else could he spend all that money besides USC? He entered USC dental when he was only 12, after finishing high school at 11. When he graduated after 18 months he was ready to practice his craft. I loved those early years, since Bennett would accept candy for payment in full. He turned his nose up to cash or insurance payments. When we had a filling we brought a small bag of candy and when we had a root canal procedure, we bought several bags. He loved candy, but he was so careful about his own teeth, he brushed them religiously at least 15 – 20 tiimes a day. While we sat in the chair and he stood on a step stool he would be brushing his teeth, which encouraged us to follow his lead. We would hold the water pipe and we inserted the pipe in his mouth to rinse and spit, a slight role reversal. Through the years he has changed so many of his procedures, when he did fillings he used to use Play-​Dough and later he chose that silver stuff other dentists used. No matter where we went in those early years, if another dentist noticed Play-​Dough fillings they would say, «Ahhhhh, Bennett’s fillings!»
Seriously, Bennett is just an orginary dentist with superhuman skills. He can accomplish miracles in minutes or sometimes requre a return visit to complete such procedures. He has a great sense of humor and his smile always reminds you that he enjoys digging around in your mouth. He treats everyone with the professionalism and care they deserve. His business was founded upon treating everyone with the same concern and conscienciousness he would ask for in treating his own teeth.
Bennett is a good guy, He is a treasure that rewards all who use his services. My first wife and I have been privileged to know Bennett for many decades and we will continue to use his services and office even though his appearance in his office decrease. He deserves the reduced hours, he has helped so many and asked so little. Over the last several years he has begun to pass the reigns to other very worthy dentists, who maintain more hours. We consider Bennett our friend and when I drive from my home in San Pedro, CA to his office, it doesn’t bother me about the distance. The quality of work we receive speaks for itself. Of course the visit isn’t complete until Bennett drops by to check on your teeth, after a cleaning. I do appreciate Bennett and the quasi roast at the beginning of this review is only done in jest, or it was done intentionally… take your pick.

Via Verde Dental is awesome. I started going when I was a kid, then stopped while in college and then went back after I realized not all dentists were the same. Dr. Jeong is wonderful. When I had an emergency Dr. Foon saw me right away and took care of me that day. The staff is always friendly and it feels like you are visiting family. I now drive 30 minutes just to go there because I know I will get great service. They really care about their patients and I would recommend them to anyone.

Brought my daughter here for her first dentist visit ever a few years back. They were awesome with her! She was close to 3 years old and she wasn’t afraid. Very patient with children… my daughter will be 5 years soon and I don’t plan on changing anytime soon! Very clean & friendly staff, haven’t seen one of these in a while…

Via Verde Dental is by far the best I’ve ever been to… Dr. Foon is amazing! My teeth never looked so good. The staff is so wonderful! Dolores and Suzy are my favorites, but they are all great. I always have so much fun when I go to my appointments and I’m always guaranteed to laugh. I’ve referred several friends who have only great things to say about Via Verde Dental.

Via Verde Dental has changed my view on Dental visits. First of all, the atmosphere is very inviting and everyone is very nice. Dr. Foon is very nice and takes the time with each patient, she is very personable and available to answer any questions. I have had cement from braces on my teeth for decades. In one visit, Amanda, the dental assistant removed all of it. Amazing to go decades with it, when one visit removed all of it. I have avoided dental appointments for years util my wife introduced me to Via Verde Dental. I no longer avoid appointments and each visit has been a pleasure. Via Verde Dental is the best. My family has been coming here for YEARS! Service is great and they really make you feel at home. I would recommend Dr. Jeong to anyone. I know I’m always going to get the best service. One last thing, they remind you about your appointment via text or email which is a total plus for a working mom that can’t always answer the phone. Amazing!

I have been going to Dr Jeung since I was a child. Still a happy patient with healthy teeth, and I plan on bringing my own child here when he’s old enough. Very friendly & clean environment.

Went today, best Dental Group I’ve had in my life. This group is professional, friendly, and gentle with the hand and drill.

Been going to Dr. J and Dr. F for years out of convenience. Office staff is poor. They can’t figure out how to code cleanings so insurance will pay for it. Even when you tell them what code to use. VERY frustrating! The assistants are nice. Still thinking of finding a new dentist with competent office staff.

Found this dentist on Unilocal and as usually was not misled by the previous ratings. Everyone in the office was friendly, professional and efficient. After my exam and teeth cleaning Dr. Jeong ask if they had met my expections. I told him no, you have exceeded my expectations which is hard to do! Great job!

Softest Hands in the west!

This is a wonderful office. Doctors Jeong, Foon and the staff are warm, friendly, and patiently answer all my questions.
And, if that is enough, the waiting lobby has wonderful and interesting books.
