At Spectrum Eyecare we pride ourselves on our personal touch. We take the time to discover exactly what your eyecare needs are and work with you to fill those needs. Our staff considers every patient that walks through the doors to be a part of our Spectrum family and will treat you accordingly.
We specialize in providing Designer Eyewear, Contact Lenses, Pediatric Exams, Dry Eye Evaluations and treatment, Glaucoma Evaluations and treatment, Diabetic Eye Evaluations, and LASIK co-management (you can have surgery at the surgery center and have all you pre-op and post-op appointments here with us).

We are pleased to welcome you to Spectrum Eyecare Optometry. Dr. David Swearingen, Dr. Elizabeth Tsay and Dr. Arian Fartash offer state of the art optometric care and services using the latest examination and treatment technology. It is our goal to provide you with a personal, professional, and quality eye health care experience to meet all of your vision needs.
Our optometrists are licensed to diagnose eye health disorders and can prescribe topical or oral medication to treat eye disease. Our eye doctors also work closely with ophthalmologists in the co-management of cataract and laser refractive surgery, including LASIK.
Our practice offers the latest eyewear, sunglasses, low vision aids, and contact lenses. We accept many insurance plans, such as VSP, EyeMed, MESVision, Davis Vision, Blue Shield PPO, TriCare, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and more.

Business Owner
Dr. David Swearingen received his optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 2000. The National Board of Optometry certified him in Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease in 2000. His undergraduate degree, Physical Education/Pre-Physical Therapy, was received from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1993.
Dr. Swearingen established Spectrum Eyecare Optometry, Inc. in 2006. His professional affiliations include the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, the National Glaucoma Society and the San Gabriel Optometric Society. He is currently board eligible as a Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry.
Three children have blessed his life: Ashley, Cade and Dawson. He has been married to their mother Amy for 13 years. He enjoys baseball, wakeboarding, jet skiing and golf
