Cakes are so yummy here! Cake is very moist! Love this bakery! And I still continue to be a customer after I moved further from the area

Got the tuxedo chocolate cake for a birthday party and it was a big hit! I would definitely recommend the cakes here. Quite a few party guests asked where I got the cake from so it wasn’t just my opinion. Haven’t tried anything else yet from here but will post when I do.

This place is awesome! I had my daughter’s shopkins birthday party on 01.15.16 and was in desperate need of a custom cake. I had a week to look and every (7 bakeries) place I called, they could not accommodate me due to the short notice. I spoke with Dora and sent her some pictures of what I wanted and she definitely delivered!!! The picture speaks for itself! Everyone was amazed on how good it turned out! The chocolate cake with chocolate mousse was to die for! We love you Dora and thank you for making Brooklyn’s birthday complete!!! We will be back!

This place is really hit or miss. The cookies are awful and I wouldn’t eat them if they were free. I’ve had them on two different occasions, and each time they were bland and dry. We ended up throwing then away. Their cakes can be pretty good though, but they’re expensive. What really disappointed me and promoted me to write a review finally was the outrageous price for their fruit tarts. I asked for 2 and I was told my total was $ 8. My jaw dropped, seriously? The fruit tarts are good, but in no way $ 4 a piece good. I’ve had better fruit tarts that were cheaper! I’m over this place.

Dora made a beautiful graduation cake with strawberry filling and white cake. It was the best cake I have ever tasted! Highly recommended! We gave her a picture to match and she decorated beautifully!

This is the place to go to I mean that saying you get what you pay for it’s really true! The prices are a bit high but the quality is great. My family lives in North hollywood and always orders cakes from here.

I bought cupcakes here not too long ago for some of my students. They were great by helping me right away with all of my questions. The only complaint I had was how sweet the frosting was. The cupcake itself was good though.

Best cakes in town!!! Flavor, Detail amazing Job! I always come to this cake bakery for my detail requested cakes. My family means a lot to me and when it comes to birthdays and special events this is my number 1 go to cake lady…;)

I stopped by the other day for the first time because of a severe craving for something sweet. It was around mid day on a weekday. Walking in I saw the bakery had an outdated, sad look but I never judge by book covers. I browsed behind the glass counter for maybe two min hoping someone would come out. I heard laughter and upbeat chit chat coming from the back so I figured they’d come and check the front eventually. Another minute went by and I spotted a diner type bell and tapped it for service. Nothing. 3 more times I tapped the little bell, waiting about a minute in between, then asked «helloo??». Nothing. At that split moment when I was about to leave a lady showed from the back and greeted me. She looked rushed and asked me what she can get for me. I asked her about a few items behind the glass. I saw what looked like big, messy looking french macarons but wasn’t sure because they were so uneven and inconsistent in size and very poorly made, asked if they were macarons and she agreed. I ordered 3, one green, pink, yellow. Now, i say the colors because I seriously can’t even remember the flavors. They were bland, dense, flavorless and had a refrigerated after taste. Then I noticed how some of the macaron wafers were hollow when I bit into them and some others where super dense like a sugar cookie. Not delicate, no almond taste or any taste, really. I also ordered a cake pop, which was super messy and kinda looked like a clot of playdough on a stick. I chose the vanilla. It was hate at first bite. The «vanilla «cake crumb in the cake pop was brown. and the flavor was and mix of refrigerated old cake /​rootbeer/​chemical after taste. I was so saddened and confused how a vanilla cake pop could be brown and have such a sour, literally, taste! I really wanted to like them but the quality in those items are probably the worst I’ve ever had. So sad!

Yes, they have great cakes and always have! But… and a big but is the staff are so rude and they act like they are doing you a BIG favor to serve you.
I’ve been coming here for years and I wonder what happened as the lady up front (I think the owner’s wife) use to be nice. But the last year or two she was just totally cold and pushing me to made a decision on what I wanted quickly, and no one else was in the store!
Hopefully the owner and his wife read the reviews here at Unilocal and try to improve their upfront customer service. The cakes and goodies are great… but their staff stink!

I went in for a cake at the last minute on Saturday right before they closed and was met with the nicest staff and the most beautiful decorated cakes. I bought one for a 21^st birthday and the girl added little beer mugs to make it extra special. The BEST part was the taste, OMG cheesecake moose and chocolate layer … mmmmm the best cake I ever tasted and my mom thought I had spent time ordering the cake to make it this special! haha highly recommend!

In desperate need for a cake and not a Albertsons basic. This bakery has a wonderful selection of beautiful cakes. They were closing when i called and she stayed open to wait for me on a Friday night!!! I can’t wait to try the nana chocolate cake and black and white cupcakes they are beautiful and I am sure are amazing!!! Plus you can’t beat the price huge cake and 15 large cupcakes 60 dollars!!!

The best cake I have ever ate!!! So moist and delicious. Lots of choices. The people are really nice and the place is clean. Prices are about right. My only complaint and the reason I didn’t give them five stars is because they are closed on Monday. If you are gonna offer cake this good, I need access to it 7 days a week.

I have been coming to this place for over 10 years and I love their cakes. The dome cake with the almond fondant is delicious! I even had them make my cake for the wedding rehearsal! Everyone loved it. They really go out of there way to make the day special

They made my 30^th bday cake with a chocolate cheesecake flavor. First of all, they did it with only a week’s notice with no problem. The cake was designed exactly like we planned and moist inside. My fam couldn’t pick it up exactly at closing time but they waited for us to pick it up. What pleasant people and fantastic service!

Not happy with the customer service here. Waited 30 min. so long just to get help and info on cake prices. When I got asked if I needed help. The lady sounded irritated. Right of the bat. First impression here sucks ! And I looked at the pics of cakes they’ve made before. And they look horrific. I can make a better looking smash cake than what they can offer. Anyway. The place got a B and hmmm I wouldn’t serve cakes to my guests that had a B grading. No thanks for this place.

STAY CLEAR! We ordered a non-​dariy cake 3 weeks in advance and they failed to have it ready for pick-​up on the day specified. If the cake is important to you for your special occasion, DO NOT count on this bakery. I gave the lady no attidude and she was still rude and asked «What do you want to do?». Really!
Won’t be coming back. You’ve been warned. Good day!
Note: They have a B rating from the Los Angeles Public Heath Environment Health agency. Ouch.

My family has been going here for years because their cakes are always fresh, moist, and never overwhelmingly sweet. They always look amazing and never fail to impress your guests. The owner of the establishment warms up to her cutomers with time. Her cakes & pastries are worth every penny.
