I just wanted to take a minute to describe my experience with Benjamin draperies. I had earl out to the house to give me an estimate. He showed up when he said and I was thrilled with what he could do. I ordered the blinds. He said they would take a few weeks to come in. They came in at about two weeks and we scheduled the installation. Top notch all the way around. I honestly didn’t go shopping all over so I wasn’t sure if the prices were high or low. I spoke with a neighbor who went to 3 day blinds, she paid double what I did (she had 1 extra window) and as of yesterday they still haven’t gotten their last blind… they ordered in October 2015!
Upon looking at my blinds she said they were much higher quality as well.
Benjamin draperies is the real deal. I highly recommend them!

After looking for a solution to our extremely large slider window we came across Benjamin Draperies We are beyond pleased with the exceptional service we received from Frances and Earl. They answered all my concerns gave me quotes on different options to address our window. Earl came to our home to measure our window, he was super down to earth, beyond knowledgeable. They communicated effectively and provided updates our our custom order shutters. We are beyond please with the service we received and of the quality item which is now the showcase on our home. Thank you again Earl and Frances for everything. FYI we have more windows that need the Benjamin touch. We will be calling you again to do the rest of the house!!!

I talked to three different people from this business, and they were more than courteous– they were friendly and helpful! I made an appointment and Earl was at my house in one working day. He was not only «on time», he called to let me know he was running a little early. Earl is amazing. He helped me make the best decision for my windows by clearly explaining the many choices his company offers. I expected the prices to reflect the excellent, personal service I received, but the prices were so reasonable that I got blinds for three windows instead of the two I had planned. You will be happy with the service, choices, and prices with Benjamin Draperies.

This review is about a month overdue. I had Earl of Benjamin Draperies come to my home to give me an estimate on shutters. Earl was extremely professional and he is a very down to earth person. He was not trying to push a sale like the other two companies I got estimates from.
I am the type of person that looks for and expects attention to detail with any home improvement projects I have done at my home. Earl is extremely knowledgeable about his profession and he made us feel confident that he was the right man for the job. I felt like Earl had the same «Attention to detail» quality I was looking for.
We were in the middle of a complete remodel of the interior of our home. He and his crew worked around everyone and installed 8 shutters on my large windows as well as a large sliding wood shutter on our sliding door. The entire job was completed in one day. Earl made the deadline we were hoping for so we would have the shutters installed for a family event we had scheduled at the house the following day. The house looked great and the event turned out nice. Earl made sure everything was done to perfection and the shutters look amazing. The shutters make such a great improvement to the house.
The prices are very competitive at Benjamin Draperies. The quality of work, materials and the level of professionalism are unbeatable!
If you are looking for shutters or any of the other services the company offers, definitely give them a call. I am completely satisfied with my choice and I am looking forward to sending them a referral when I know of anyone considering shutters for their home.

My wife and I have been very happy with the services and window shutters we received from Earl of Benjamin Draperies. Earl was the consummate professional and caring person. He and his crew installed 13 shutters on my windows beautifully in one day.
On the morning of the estimate, he came early and waited for us in his truck. He brought all the samples and explained the differences in material, styles and features of the shutters to both us. He asserted no pressure on us at all. We were impressed with his honesty and professionalism so much we ended up buying thirteen shutters instead of ten that we had initially thought to buy. We chose ten wood shutters for their wider frames and three engineered woods for our bathrooms. We are glad with our decision to cover all our windows with shutters. The shutters looked so cool and the workmanship so awesome.
Earl measured and provided us quotes on the same visit. We got our shutters installed sooner than the original scheduled date.
We’ll work with Earl again when we have any window covering needs and shall definitely recommend Earl of Earl Benjamin Draperies to anyone who need windows covering or draperies.

Dear Elizabeth at Benjamin Drapery,
You came for an estimate on May 30 and you told us that you are going to give us an estimate on the same day. Today is June 8. So far we have not received any estimate for our window treatments. Once again you promised to send us the estimate at the end of today and still we have not heard from you. I guess Benjamin Drapery won’t «got our windows covered.»

Need to call Costco for another company. Wasted another two weeks before we can have our windows treatments order. I guess our neighbors will have to watch us shower naked for now.

Benjamin Draperies was recommended to us by a family friend. We purchased wood shutters from Earl for our entire house. The quality surpassed our expectation, and we were overwhelmed with how nice they looked. What we were most pleased with was the customer service we received. He always answered or returned our calls right away. He made us aware every step of the way about how our order was coming along. Great price, great product, exceptional service.

Benjamin Draperies provided not only professional service but outstanding craftsmanship in the recent installation of shudders in our living room. The living room windows have now become a focal point both inside and outside the house. We have had prior installations in 2 other bedrooms and the den and couldn’t be more pleased. When we purchased an older home in Long Beach, we reached out to Benjamin Draperies (through Costco) and I immediately heard back from Elizabeth Sutton, our assigned designer. Elizabeth met with me in our home and helped me choose wood blinds to replace the window coverings in all of our windows plus a pull down blind for a new door. Elizabeth was professional, patient, and very helpful and I hope to reach out to her again in the future when we get around to the remodeling that we plan to do.
I also had the pleasure of working directly with Earl Benjamin on a second blind that I purchased. It wasn’t exactly as I expected and Earl was very quick to remedy the situation.
This is an excellent company to do business with and I encourage you to contact them for your window covering needs.

I am a Certified Interior Designer and needed a REALLY oversize (15′) vertical head rail and cornice installed in my home. Frances gave me a great price and I made an appointment with Earl to install a couple of days later.
Earl and Mauro did such a fantastic job of installing the vertical head rail on a wall that had very little solid wood to support it. It was installed very securely, despite it. The vanes just skim the floor by a fraction of an inch. The overall project looks quite elegant. Photo to follow.
I am VERY happy with the professionalism, value and the personable service from Earl and Mauro. Both guys are courteous, patient and flexible when challenged with the typical irritating conditions that crop up during installations
Whether you are an interior designer needing a drapery workroom or a residential customer needing any kind of window covering and installation; Benjamin Draperies have you covered! I highly recommend them.
Regardless of what you spend on a window covering project, if it is not installed correctly, you will not have a good return on your investment.

This business is awesome! I’ve actually never left a review on Unilocal but I felt that I needed to sign up to do so for Benjamin Draperies because I’ve had such a good experience with them. Earl and Frances have installed drapery hardware and shades throughout my house and have done an amazing job and offered great customer service. They are always on time to appointments and very professional. They come prepared to meetings with all possible window covering options, and while they are thorough, they are also efficient so that hours aren’t spent picking out products. Frances is always prompt with follow up emails and calls also.
In addition, the blind company sent one of the shades in the wrong width (about a ¼″ too narrow) and when I told Earl about this he stated that it was no problem and he’d order an new shade that day. The next week I had my new shade installed.
In summary, their prices are very fair, they carry Hunter Douglas shades (which are gorgeous), Frances has a good eye for what looks good, Earl has great attention to detail in installation, and their customer service is great.
