Aguirre Tequila Imports

I am an the owner of multiple liquor locations. The handcrafted tequilas from this company give my businesses that extra tender loving care to our ambiance. I’ve tasted many tequilas in my time and their selection definitely deserves to be on every top shelf throughout Southern California. Some people fear that you are only buying a fancy bottle but little do they know this is how amazing tequila is supposed to taste. Stop buying a bottle for its name and start spending money on quality and taste.

I was lucky to have Ernesto from Aguirre Tequila as one of my vendors at an event I hosted. He was one of the 17 vendors that attended the San Dimas Toast of the Town… but it was Ernesto that stood out.
Being from San Dimas, Ernesto already knew many of the people at the event. He was very hospitable and very knowledgeable of his products. Ernesto brought his own ‘display’ bar & was very thorough while doing the tastings.
I didn’t get a chance to get a sampling of the wonderful tequila so the next day, Ernesto was sweet enough & bought me over a sample… & let me tell you… it was YUMMY~! Thanks! :)
I invited Ernesto to work with me on my next event, a golf tournament and I am looking forward to it.

I’ve never really had an interaction with a liquor distributor that I felt was review worthy until last night. I attended the Rhythm and Vine Festival in Escondido where I was fortunate enough to run into Ernesto who runs this operation.
The dude knows his tequila! At festivals like this it’s sometimes easy to get carried away and drink or eat without an understanding of the products. Well, Ernesto educated me to the full effect on a spirit that I’ve never really been particularly fond of.
Tequila is the one alcohol that I had a bad experience with in a sophomoric episode of college binge drinking, and since then whenever summoned to take a shot I’ve held my nose, closed my eyes, and poured it down the hatch without an appreciation of the distilling process.
Aguirre Tequila products are all made of 100% agave and when Ernesto’s guidance showed me to taste tequila similarly to a fine wine I didn’t get that «I just threw up in my mouth» sensation that I’ve previously gotten when shooting college-​buddy-​bought Cuervo’s. The three samples of theirs that I tasted were smoother than a Fresh Prince marathon.
I wouldn’t say I’m completely converted to a tequila drinker, but I now at least know what I’m doing for the future. Who knew that I’d go to an all you can eat/​drink festival and actually learn a thing or two? Thanks taking me to school, E!
