For a fast food pizza joint, pretty good deal. Get 2 slices and a salad for $ 8. If you go the salad route do NOT get the Cesar it’s lettuce with cheese and two pieces of hard bread. Instead get the pear and Gorgonzola– it’s pretty yummy AND the presentation is nicer.

Been her me many times over the last few years but have never written a review. The customer service here is amazing, their pizzas are delicious and they use organic ingredients. The pastas are great and they have superb chicken wings. Very clean as well. Great pizza place!

I was out running a few errands with my sister today and happened to see a lunch special sign at Z Pizza. We went in and was greeted with one of the most personable young man who was at the register. He made us feel like he was welcoming us into his ‘own home’. It was so very pleasant and the food was excellent and a good value. If you have a chance, do yourself a favor and visit this establishment for a very pleasant experience in dining. His name, I believe was Alvy. My sister said she felt ‘warm and fuzzy’ after our visit. The food was really fresh and of a high quality. Thank you Z Pizza for an enjoyable lunchtime experience. We will be back.

Ordered two pizzas tonight for pick up and was slightly disappointed. I had this for the first time a couple weeks ago when friends for it. It was great that day. Today, we waited about five mins to get them and then once home(7 mins drive) the pizzas weren’t even hot. All five people eating needed to reheat the pizza(from both pizzas). And the crust was pretty well done too. The ingredients were definitely fresh, but overall was a bit disappointing

Great slice! Nice crispy crust and a good sauce. I stopped in on a whim, had pizza in my hands in less than two minutes. Friendly staff was a bonus.

The cashier was nice. He told me the specials we have for the day as a courtesy, even though I could have looked it up on the menu. They keep their pizza stocked and fresh, they have a good flow of customers coming in to eat tasty pizza, wings, antipasto salad and more. They even stuck my pizza in the oven for added extra crisp experience, read my mind as he was asking me if I wanted it in the oven for 30 seconds, probably didn’t need it but he did it with a smile(AWESOMECUSTOMERSERVICE). Thank you Carlos!

I came in here for a quick lunch and received exceptional customer service. I had to wait less than 2 mins but the manager felt that was too long and gave me a freshly baked cookie for waiting. She was kind and attentive, a true example of a good business person, people over profit.

They served me lukewarm slices. Gross. This was after telling me they were«fresh from the oven.» No, the employees were just being lazy. I won’t be back!

Healthy pizza! Go here for gluten-free crust & dairy-free(vegan) cheese! So yummy! And they have delivery available too! It’s s bummer gluten-free crusts only come in small & large b/c they run a Tuesday special that only applies to medium size… They will do ½ & ½ on a large! Always friendly staff!

Two small full pizzas $ 40. I was pretty satisfied with my gluten-free casablanca with added pear(yum) but the boyfriend could have eaten 5 more. For light health conscious eaters this place is a great for pizza cravings. I’ll definitely go back! Oh and the nice young guy behind the counter was extremely polite!

I’ve been meaning to try Z Pizza for a while now and glad I stopped in today. I was in the area for work and decided to grab a few slices for lunch. They have a $ 5.95 deal for any 2 Z combinations(slice/salad/sandwich). I chose a slice of BBQ chicken and a slice of Feta & Mushroom. Both were thrown in the oven to warm up and I was out! Both were tasty but I loved the BBQ chicken one more! I also love the thin crust! Slices were huge too! The guy at the counter even gave me 10% off since I was working! Yay! Yes, I will be back when I’m back in the area!

This is a great place located in a beautiful area of La Jolla. Just be careful during the lunch hour because it can get pretty busy because it’s located near businesses and near the UCSD area. They have a bunch of different pizza choices here and all their stuff is made fresh. The dough is bagged and all pizzas are made fresh to order. You can also order pizza by the slice here as well.

The pizza was not bad, but I placed an order and had it delivered to my residence and upon receiving the pizza from the delivery man, I noticed a discrepancy as to what my online receipt said and what the physical receipt said. The getnleman that delivered my pizza did not know anyting about it. I called and they said they added on some extra charges, because the website did not reflect the correct prices. I responded that is not how things work and requested to speak to a manager. I was told the manager would call me back that day with the fix. After never getting a call back from the manager, I called a week later and was hung up on and put on hold twice. The manager Sinad hung up on me when I called a month later to see when I would receive my refund. If you want good pizza BLAZE Pizza is much better and exceptional customer service!

Consider it «healthy» pizza. The nice gentlemen working the cash register happened to be the owner and assured us all of the ingredients in their pizzas are gluten free, organic, and fresh. This freshness translates into a very good thin crust pizza with tons of flavor and less of a greasy pie. Salads are fantastic too… had a greek salad with a heaping load of lean white meat and a flavorful dressing. Location is small, quiet, and within a larger outdoor shopping center.

well, i did not get to the point of actually getting the pizza. This was a lazy tuesday night, trying to call them for a pizza delivery. The guy on the line took forever to take my order. After all the trouble, i paid for the order. Then the guy says the pizza will be delivered in 1.5 hours. It was already 830pm and i am like 3 miles from this place. Very simple, if you think you will take 1.5 hours to deliver, thats the first thing you should tell. After that i wanted to cancel the order, the guy on the phone put the boss on phone. I thought the boss would say he will try to get it faster or something. But the boss just said«Hold on sir while i cancel the order» … Sweet !

I gotta hand it to ZPizza for their fresh ingredients and plentiful options, however, the pricing is a bit high for the portion you receive. You are certainly paying for quality, but considering all the new custom pizza spots springing up around San Diego, I can’t imagine that ZPizza will be competing for much longer. In terms of the location, you might as well book it to CPK or BJ’s if you’re looking for a better option and attentive service. It’s $ 10 for a Small, essentially personal pizza(claims to serve 1 – 2), and then the next size up is a $ 17 Large pizza, then $ 21(?) Extra large pizza. What happened to Medium? There is no Medium size, which is rather annoying as there should be a median price point and size between these options. They don’t offer any student discounts either, which is unfortunate considering the majority of customers are UCSD students or even high school students from the surrounding area.

Went to this location this past week with my friend before hitting the beach. We both got the lunch special. I ordered two slices of the the Napoli pizza(vegetarian) and a side of garlic bread. The pizza was very yummy, but the garlic bread was just normal, nothing special. I haven’t tried this yet, but they have a vegan pizza and a gluten free pizza. I’m anxious to try it next time since I eat 80% vegan. The customer service was very friendly.
