Established in 2014.

Prior to starting Zip-​A-​Dee Doo-​Dogs I was a Groomer/​Shop Manager of a highly prestigious #1 San Diego A-​list Groom Shop of 2014 and runner up in the Top Ten for 2013, 2012 & 2011.

I started Zip-​A-​Dee Doo-​Dogs with the mission and goal to take care of my customers pets like they’re my own. And that means coming to you and your home.

Just moved back to SD and there’s nothing more stressful than finding a new doctor for me and vet and groomer for my Kate. Checked Unilocal and based on recommendations … Reached out to Carolyn via email. Great communication … Got the schedule figured out and booked an appointment that worked for all. She was prompt, a dog & people person… you know what I mean! Best of all, she took her time getting to know Kate (no blow drying the face) and produced terrific results. Everyone is happy and Kate is ready for some summer beach time!

Carolyn was super nice. Left her a message and she called back not too long after to schedule appointment. Our dogs look great. They smell and look so much better:) we have 2 pug/​shih tzu dogs and we like to keep a Mohawk on the boy and fluffy tail on the girl… So convenient to have her come to our home and not stress over picking up dogs and getting hair all over the car;) thanks Carolyn! Will use her services again… Usually get them groomed every 2 – 3 months.

We needed Carolyn because of a lost dog we rescued from the shelter in January. Our new boy Brady was full of mats and had a very overgrown coat and nails. She came even after hearing that we had no idea how he would behave with a groomer.
She sat down with us, explained her process of grooming a dog like Brady, even took the time to explain how a dog feels and reacts after having a matted coat removed.
90 mins later he was done and ready to take on his new world.
Carolyn knows dogs and is a true professional groomer. We are grateful and highly recommend her service. Worth every penny!

Absolutely loved her work! I have a yorkie/​chihuahua mix that has a bit of social anxiety. This is the first time in her 2 short years of life that I use a different groomer and carolyn really put our minds at ease. She came in and was very loving and attentive to my dog, and the price was reasonable since she does it all! I am definitely a customer for life. Thank you!

The others hadn’t done so all week and for what it’s worth still haven’t…Our boy Jet looks GREAT and is very happy about his cut! We will definitely be calling her again when that time comes around. Wow… so happy with the grooming ! I have an 18 yr old Yorkie that Carolyn groomed and she was fantastic! Not only was Carolyn friendly but, my Yorkie took to her right away when they first met. In fact, after Carolyn was finished my dog waited at my front door for her when she left. Five stars plus !!!

The knowledge, customer service, and friendliness was awesome. I just picked my little guy up from the shelter, and he did not like his last experience with getting groomed (they got a little too close to his family jewels). Carolyn was too nice and the dogs came back inside the house very happy and smelling good. One of my dogs is barker and takes a while to warm up to people and Carolyn was so good with him. Price is higher than a typical grooming experience but then again so was the service and treatment. I love that she brushes their teeth too. Next time I book I’ll try to share the news with my neighbors so they can jump into the rotation.

Carolyn has been grooming our Toy Fox Terrier for years, so when I found out she was starting her own mobile grooming business I was ecstatic! Our dog is not a fan of baths & bringing him to the shop can be a stressful ordeal… but Carolyn has solved all that for us! I absolutely LOVE the blueberry facial she does too! Zip A Dee Doo Dogs was my first experience with a mobile dog groomer, and I couldn’t be more pleased. My recently adopted Brussels Griffon mix isn’t good with other dogs, so I couldn’t take a chance leaving him at a regular grooming salon. When I called Carolyn, she was very friendly and helpful. I made an appointment for 10am, and she came right on time! I could tell my baby was comfortable with her and would be in safe hands.
It took 1 ½ hours for my dog to get his flea bath, haircut, and flea treatment. He looked so wonderful when coming out of the van, with his bandana and all! Carolyn was very thorough with the grooming. She also let me know what she used on him and how he reacted. The pricing was quite reasonable, too, for a mobile grooming. I’m glad my first experience with it was a pleasant one!
