Zeke’s Shave Ice

Zeke’s Shave Ice provided their services at my son’s 3^rd birthday party in Oct 2014. Chris, Edie and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and made sure to take care of every guest they served. The shave ice was an absolute hit and an awesome treat on a perfectly warm Oct day. In closing, both the services and products they provided were exceptional to say the least. I highly recommended Zeke’s Shave Ice to anyone that is considering their services. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Zeke’s Shave Ice!!!

My son had a foot ball game at San Yisidro High School and the Pop Warner league contracted Zeke’s Shaved Ice to come down and set up on site with their goodies; I had the pleasure of trying the Mango Snow topped with chamoy and tamarindo bites, it was the best (Soooo tasty) !!Zeke’s made everyone smile that day with their snow cones. The staff was kind and the cold treats were amazing. They are perfect for parties sports functions and any events in the heat. Very pleased they were there!

WOW! Zeke’s Shave Ice was a hit at our family and friends BBQ. With a guest count of 100+ people, each person raved about there shaved ice selection.

We had Zeke’s for my Aunt’s Friends and Family BBQ and they were awesome! They were fully set up and already serving when we arrived to the party. Super friendly staff, awesome products! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, refreshing treat to add to their party catering menu.

I contracted Zeke’s Shave Ice as a vendor during my son’s first birthday party last month. Firstly, although I had my party in San Diego (where my family is, I was born and raised there), I live in the Bay Area, and communication with Chris, owner of Zeke’s, was easy and painless. So, the first time I had tried Zeke’s was the day of the party. My husband is Hawaiian (also from Hawaii), and he enjoyed the shave ice a lot. They actually had a lot of options to choose from. They offer a Taiwanese shave ice which is different from what I’m used to, but good as well, and apparently there is a secret menu which has «halo-​halo» if you ask for it in advance of booking them. If I had known, I would have asked for that since my mom kept calling the shave ice, halo-​halo. Chris and his children, who are the breadth of the whole operations which I think is fabulous, came an hour before the scheduled time to set up and were pretty organized. They even offer a military discount and offered to play music, but we already had a sound system, so theirs wasn’t necessary. Because I was the host of the party and didn’t have much time to eat, I (only) had 2 shave ice, haha. They have the ling hing mui and mochi toppings which I love, and can do the Matsumoto’s style with azuki beans and condensed milk, but they also can do snow cone style shave ice like the kind they serve at Aloha Stadium at the Swap Meet. I know that my guests LOVED them because they kept coming back for more. I caught people up in line getting seconds and thirds even. I think this was a pretty good investment on my part. What Chris is doing for and with his kids is awesome, and he’s teaching them the value of hard work and entrepreneurship. I am completely down with supporting our small businesses, and I would DEFINITELY hire them again. Maybe next year for our 3^rd kid’s first birthday party, and this time I’ll ask for the halo-​halo in advance. :)

I tried this for the first time and I had to come and get my own! If u haven’t tried this u most try one ! So delicious mind u it’s cold but I’m still eating it! Must try!

I tried zekes shaved snow for the first time today and it was awesome! Earlier this year, our family vacationed in Kauai for 2 weeks and we had Hawaiian shaved ice almost every day. Zekes brought us back to the islands! The shaved snow is fluffy, light, and flavorful! I had taro flavored shaved snow with condensed milk and mochi! ! Can’t wait to try some items off the secret menu this Saturday! I hear zekes shaved ice will be at del Norte high school from 10 – 7.

Tried this place at Mira Mesa High School. It feels like you’re eating snow! Delicious yummy snow! It has so much flavor, it is really amazing! Love it and want more as soon as possible!
