California Women’s Medical Clinic (CWMC) is a healthcare practice which is dedicated to the promotion of the total well-​being of women. It was established in 1980 by Michael C. Wong, M.D. Its essential objective is to provide the best possible female care through the adoption and dispensing of the latest advancements in obstetrical and gynecological care, including infertility and minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Dr. Michael Wong provides excellent services related to pregnancy (obstetrics) and the diagnosis and treatment of problems related to a woman’s reproductive system (gynecology). We also work with our patients on preventive health care through periodic exams and screening tests.

We offer comprehensive care for your Gynecologic and Obstetrical needs. For women who need surgical intervention, we offer minimally invasive surgery options whenever possible. We provide safe and more effective alternatives to traditional open surgery. Minimally Invasive surgery (MIS) uses tiny keyhole incisions through which the surgeon can laparoscopically accomplish the same surgery as he would otherwise through a large abdominal incision. MIS offers less pain, shorter hospital stays and less complications such as bleeding or infection. We offer MIS surgery for treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, endometriosis, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse.

Very glad this is my last visit. Have never had a good experience here, only when I see DR. Wong for the 5 mins I do see him after waiting so long. The Hispanic receptionist is the worst. Why do you work front desk with such a nasty ass attitude? They don’t greet you or acknowledge you. The problem is, they schedule everyone at the same time therefore there is a whole office full of pregnant woman waiting to see 1 man. You are lucky if they tell you Dr. Wong isn’t even here while you wonder why the heck you’re waiting so long. The front desk/​office alone makes you want to switch doctors but Dr. Wong is a good guy. He’s got a lot of information if you ask for it. Yes it seems like he’s always in a rush but it didn’t matter that much to me since this is my second pregnancy. I kind of already know what to expect. For a first time mom, I would not recommend this doctor based on the experience I had at Womans Health Care with DR McNally (I believe) they provide you with tons of information and make you feel very comfortable during your pregnancy. I gave 3 stars because I didn’t want to be mean and only give 1.

I’m going to keep it real. Yes the front staff they have is horrible & they have the worst attitude, 2⁄3 of them because the one who scheduled my induction date was a doll. I can not remember her name but she was really kind.
If you’re a new patient, I will be honest that the wait time will be an eternity. But this office accepts all types of insurances (including medical.) Most people know by now that if an office is a medical office, there will be a wait time. I don’t understand why people complain about waiting if medical covers their expenses. Be patient and sit tight. Read a book or something.
Anyways, My whole pregnancy I mainly saw Rita, she’s the sweetest and I’m really happy with how she treated me. I saw her up until my 38 weeks and then I saw Doctor Wong, yes I agree with everyone else that he’s always in a hurry but I can certainly tell that he tries to see all of his patients and he tries his best.

I get most of the reviews here complaining of his staff, and while I agree. they’re not the friendliest. if you ignore that, you’ll have a pretty good, experienced OB. I like Dr. Wong, he was pretty cool, yes always in a hurry because he always has to go and help pop babies out, ya know he is an OB!
The only thing I didn’t like was that he kept pushing for an induction at 38 weeks because «i’m small, my baby is big and if I wait I’d get an emergency c section».
I refused, ended up having my son NATURALLY at 41 + 3 days, and he was only 7lbs and 21 ½ inches long.
So there’s that. He’s a good OB, takes Tricare and knows what to do.

The customer service here is ATROCIOUS! After 3 months of dealing with Dr. Wong’s horrible staff, I am finally switching Doctors. The staff at Dr. Wong’s office treat their patients as just another number. They wont take the time to get to know your name, and if you correct them, they ignore you. They will mess up important ultrasound appointments, and argue with you regarding simple information that is suppose to be updated and current on your file. The wait time is about an hour. The receptionists are very rude and not helpful. Sometimes they wont even acknowledge you are standing right in front of them. They’ll slam the glass window as they see you’re approaching. Really doesn’t seem that anyone at this facility enjoys what they do for a living.
If you want to have a joyous experience, i recommend NOT going to Dr. Wong. If you do, I guarantee you’ll have a terrible experience filled with lots of anxiety, tears, frustration, and regret you made the mistake of giving his office a chance.

Dr Wong’s staff is rude and very unwelcoming. As for Dr Wong he doesn’t have any patience he seems In a hurry all the time. He cuts you off when you are speaking he doesn’t seem to listen to your needs. I always dreaded going to my doctor visits. I am happy to say I am being transfered.

The office staff is okay but the doctor is amazing. He handled my c-​section beautifully and then visited in the hospital with a shirt for my son that says dr. Wong really delivers. :) great doctor knows his stuff. The only regret was wishing i looked up more on Tubal Litigation. Wish I never got it but i cant take back. Doesnt change the fact that DR. Wong is amazing.

He is a very experienced doctor. My only complains for some his staff. They don’t seem as professional as Dr. Michael Wong. His clinic might seem little old and his equipments are not the last technology, but believe me he doesn’t need all these fancy things, he knows what he’s doing. Also, he is very affordable, so no need to spend so much money.
