I was looking for an accounting firm who could file my taxes, so I called WMA Wealth Management Accounting. I met Mr. Richard Green and he took care of my taxes. My case was a bit complicated but Richard being knowledgeable, handled my case very well. Although the tax season is over long ago, he has been available to answer my tax related questions for the this year and the past years filings.

Kyle Kodra has been doing my taxes for almost two decades. He and his associates are the best in the business! He is very personable and each year eases that natural anxiety at tax time. I have learned that he will not only make sure I am getting my taxes done accurately; he will also help me set myself up each year to take the best advantage I can of tax breaks that affect me as my life and income evolves. If you are paying someone to do your taxes, but that is all your are getting you are missing out. I consider him my tax coach!

I usually do my own taxes with Turbo Tax, and have been for years not wanting to give up control and pay someone for something I could do myself. Well I sold a house this year and thought I would get lost in all the details since this was an out of state sale. I looked around and found Kyle Kodra on Unilocal with great ratings, so I called and next thing I new I was sitting across from him with my paper work having a great time. This was a free consultation no pressure to sign up. Well I did not hesitate to get him to do my taxes, this was in December, so I had time on my hands. We got together in January, gave him all my details and they emailed him needed pieces of information as I got them. He did my taxes in no time, charged me a very reasonable price, and I have my returns in the bank before April 15. I am sold, never again will I do my own, Kyle has my vote as one of the best. He makes tax time fun, I can’t recommend him more highly.

Tax season came quick this year and of course my darling husband waited until a few days before the deadline to hand me his paperwork. Our usual CPA wasn’t returning my phone calls or emails (probably because we did wait a few days before deadline) and I could feel the stress building up. In a last minute desperate attempt to get my taxes in by the dead line I took to Unilocal.I phone a few people and the rates were definitely out of our reach. Finally I landed on Kondra & WMA Enterprises! I read all the amazing reviews and decided to give them a ring. I spoke to Richard AKA Rick and I could already tell I was speaking to the right person! Not only was he personable like all the reviews said but he agreed to meet with my husband the VERY NEXT DAY! The rates were reasonable and we even managed to get money back (usually we owe which is normal since my husband is a 1099) which is rare! Words can not explain how much I love Rick! I met with Rick for tax help since my wife and I recently had a baby. Even though I had filed taxes online myself previous years using Turbo Tax and Tax act, I needed a peace of mind that I was doing them correctly since we now had a dependent and I’m really glad I did because Rick was able to get us almost double the refund I would have gotten if I would have done it myself. He’s very knowledgeable and personable and I’ll definitely go back to him next year.

Max worked with me on my 2011 tax return after I received an IRS later stating I needed to pay $ 450+ for unclaimed capital gains. After Max submitted the letter to the IRS, they accepted my $ 30 payment and then sent me another letter for my 2012 tax return. This time, the IRS stated I owed them $ 2,000 for unclaimed capital gains. My initial reaction was, NOT AGAIN… well, I contacted Max and he reviewed my claim and it turned out I only owed ~$ 400. Both of these instances, Max took the initiative to resolve my claim and all I had to do was add a signature and put a stamp on the envelope. He saved me time, money, and the headache. He didn’t charge a penny for his services. Updating my prior post, Max has helped save me $ 2,000. The Unilocal deal that led me to Kodra & Associates has paid itself 10 fold. Thank you Max!

In all the years I’ve been filing my taxes, I can’t say I have ever had the best experience, or for that matter, a filing experience that stood out above the rest… Until now…
I literally called these guys on Thursday, April 11^th in the afternoon to see if I could squeeze into their busy schedule, and they took me rite in! Despite their busy schedule, I was able to get in and out of there in less than 20 minutes!
Initially, what I was expecting was to have at least a 15 minute wait, with at least 20 minutes of tax time, and to be walking out of there with about $ 70-​$ 80 less in my wallet… Fortunately for me, that was not the case! I don’t know if it would be appropriate to say what I paid on here, but just know that my filing fee was a lot less than I expected! They are absolutely military friendly, and most definitely know what their doing! I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s in need to get their taxes done ASAP! And being that today is the last day, I’d definitely try your luck here above the rest! All those other places, your bound to be a number, and set to pay the price!

I was very happy to have chosen Kodra and Associates. Max Anderson was very thorough and took his time to make sure we explored every possible deduction and expense i had incurred during the year. Their service was excellent and i would recommend them to anyone.

Ok so this review has taken me a while to write as I normally do not like to write bad reviews. However, I felt after numerous phone calls and NO CALL backs and incorrectly filing of my taxes, I felt I had to write this for other customers to make sure and triple check your returns. We met with Kyle for 2 (maybe 3) yrs. He is nice for sure. However for the last 2 yrs the taxes were filing wrong. Unfortunately we do have a family of three and we do ALL have different last names…(I know not usual) however it is what it is. When they filed they used the wrong last names for my son and myself. Which in turned red flagged the IRS and because they had the wrong ss# for my son they didnt apply my child tax credit and now I am in the mess of trying to get this all fixed with his assocoiate Tim since last October and it has since not been resolved. I signed the papers giving them permission to call on my behalf and get it straighten out, I faxed over ALL info to them and no call backs/​or follow up to assure me all has been fixed. I recvd numerous letters from the IRS NOW telling me they never recvd the 2010 tax return on me!!! WHAT? Oh its again because they were filed incorrectly. And they now have the right to lien me. (I have nothing to lien) however this is too much hassle for a simple tax return for someone who owns nothing. Maybe now after seeing this review SOMEONE will call me and get this taken care of? Or maybe I will have to call yet AgaIn for the 5^th time and hopefully get this taken care of!
IF you do choose to go here, just double and triple check your returns. Although it seems little mistakes end up being HUGE for the IRS!

My mom just went to them. Her taxes are not complicated, but they are a hassle for her. She was extremely pleased at how professional they were and how easy it made tax season for her. She said the man she had her appointment with was very nice, worked her taxes up on the spot, filed them, and gave her her whole package right there all completed.
She’s definitely going back next year!

I have done my taxes for my husband and I for the last four years. We own our home and had a few extra tax incentives for the year, so instead of using the normal TurboTax, I decided to try a tax accountant to maximize our deductions for 2010.
After our 45 min meeting and $ 200 service fee, I realized all this could’ve been done for free on Turbotax. If you are married, have two incomes, own your home, and have small deductions, I would highly recommend you do your own taxes. I expected our tax accountant to be more personable and attentive to our financial needs. Instead, he pushed us in and out like a fast food service chain.
Maybe they do a better job for people who are self employed or own businesses, but not for the everyday average single or married family. I used Unilocal and Google’s review to find this place and I would definitely go with personal recommendations from people I know personally since you never know if people who work for the business are writing reviews. I found Kodra & Assoc. on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. Best financial decision I’ve made in a long time. My husband and I are just regular people, heading into our 30s. We don’t have our own business, have a couple of school loans, we work regular 8 to 5 jobs. We’ve unfortunately had issues with audits in the past because of a previous shady tax accountant. We’ve also gone to H&R Block — which, in my opinion, if you plan on going to them, you might as well buy Turbo Tax and do it yourself. At least that takes less time.
We met with Kyle, hoping he can help us with last year’s filing and shed some light on our audit situation. He gave us advice, proved to be extremely thorough with tax law and pointed us in the right direction in preparation for next year. Not only has he helped us with our finances, I feel like I can finally trust someone again.
I plan on going back to him for all my tax & financial needs from here on out.
