We had fun renting a single surrey, a bit of a tight fit for an adults and two small teens but that made it more fun to be squished together. After an hour we had pretty much gone everywhere you can go. Remember to get a lock(we didn’t) and so you can really leave your surrey to explore.

It was great fun to go bicycling around Balboa Park. It’s a wonderful way to see this beautiful, magical place. Stephen, the nice guy at the bike station, recommended we eat lunch at the Panama 66 Restaurant. Score! Thanks for the recommendation and little bit of free rental time, Stephen. Yay! Just do it!

We had an excellent experience renting bikes from Wheel Fun Rentals. We were initially turned off by the high prices but after a frustrating attempt to rent from a DecoBike kiosk(don’t do it!) we opted to come here. The guy working that day was incredibly generous and gave us a free hour since we arrived before noon. They also let you borrow a bike lock at no additional cost in case you decide to grab lunch or explore one of the museums in the park.

We had a great ride. A lot of work, but we were laughing so hard the whole time going up slowly and down hills fast! It’s a struggle sometimes but HILARIOUS fun! Very fun! Bikes are in good shape and the price wasnt bad as I thought it would be. My wife and I plan to do it again sometime! Thank you!

We had so much fun peddling around Balboa Park on a surrey that my son kept asking us to go back again. We invited friends to join us this time. Rented two double surreys. I’m not sure what is so magical about these things. We couldn’t stop laughing! It was hard work getting up some of the hills. There’s no «backpedaling.» If you get stuck, you’ve got to get off and push. Make sure if you have a bunch of kids you have some strong peddlers to help out! We had no problems at all and enjoyed every minute of it. Staff was patient, friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Came to my neighborhood park with the god-kids — ages 11&12. They LOVED it and were so excited that they were riding the cool surreys! The staff were so polite and helpful with the instructions and made us feel comfortable as we began our afternoon adventure. Definitely will try again !! Thank you !!

We has so much fun. It’s harder then you think, but great workout. Everyone laughs when they get on the the peddle bikes for families. Balboa park is a great place for a day trip.

Website says they’re open until sunset, they close at 6pm. Just walked all the way through Balboa park to rent a bike and the guy working was pretty rude. Should’ve gone with Stay Classy — they deliver for free.

Had a small dispute with this company over an accident. I approached the owner politely and was rudely treated. Despite whether I was in the right on in the wrong, they could have been polite. I bet your ride will be fine, but if something goes wrong, don’t expect them to be reasonable, or to negotiate with you in good faith, or to return your phone calls.

Bikes are pretty good quality for rentals and definitely fun to ride for reasonable prices. We rented a single surrey bike for 30 minutes for $ 20. That was enough time to explore the Spanish Art Village, Space Museum, Extraordinary Desserts for some dessert to go and back to the rental spot. Service was fast and friendly and the cashiers were helpful in letting us know which paths to take. I’d definitely come back here again and would recommend it to friends.
