Walk N Roll Doggie

I do not write a lot of online reviews — in fact this is the first — but I wanted to thank Roxy and Leslie for taking such good care of our dog for the last two years. They are very trustworthy people and I can tell care a lot about our dog. In addition to the walking services, the overnight boarding has also worked out very well for us. When we are at work or out of town, we never have to worry that Layla is in good hands.

I absolutely LOVE the ladies at walk n roll doggies. They are so kind, friendly, professional and my dog loves them! I work long hours and knowing that my dog is being take a such care of makes me so happy. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company. For anyone who needs their dog walked, I HIGHLY recommend them!!! :)

We needed someone to take care of our Kitty baby while we were out of town last week. Walk N Roll came very highly recommended by a friend of ours who has relied on them for a while for dogwalking. So we arranged for a meeting and went through all of the basics, and off we went.
The intake forms were very comprehensive, which helped ease my mind (I was thinking, how can I entrust my baby to anyone?! Will anyone take as good care of her as I need?!)
We got a picture and note for every visit, and it was SO reassuring to see that my baby was doing ok. I actually slept well knowing that she was in good hands. I never relax when I’m out of town, because I worry about her so much, so this was huge. Kitty was recovering from an illness, too, so this time I was extra worried, and they were great about keeping me informed of her eating, etc.
I would absolutely recommend them for anyone who needs loving care for their pet while out of town, or just for extra visits during a long work day.
Five stars! Six if I could give them.

Just adopted a rescue puppy at the very end of Feb, since then, my dog has been crate trained. I’m a nurse and work close to a 13 hour schedule which is a long time for a pup to sit in a crate. I contacted Rock N Roll Doggie to walk him during the day for me. Not only has he stopped playing possum on the leash when walked, he has become more confident when walking on the leash. Two thumbs up! I receive a picture message each time he is out with one of the walkers, which gives me piece of mind. I know he is being well taken care of when I physically can’t be there. Thank you Rock N Roll Doggie!

There aren’t enough stars on this page to explain how amazing Roxy and Leslie are. My fiancé, myself, and our furry kids, Cody and Emma, moved downtown in August of last year. We used to live a mile away from our offices in Carmel Valley and were able to go home on our lunch breaks to bring Cody and Emma to the park. When we moved downtown I knew we needed to find a dog walker and am so glad we found Walk N Roll Doggie. We couldn’t be happier.
Cody is a 12lb ball of fluff that thinks he is human so I knew Roxy and Leslie would have no problem with him. Emma is a different story. We adopted her when she was about four to five months old. We don’t have alot of information on her history other than she was abused. She wanted nothing to do with us when we first got her and would cringe if we touched her. It took her a good few months before she would come anywhere near us. Though she has gotten a lot better she still has trust issues with humans. I explained all of this to Roxy in an email beforehand, nervous that it wouldn’t work out, and unsure of what we would do if it didn’t. Roxy assured me that they have dealt with shy dogs before and that she would come over to talk to us and meet the dogs beforehand free of charge.
The minute Roxy walked in the door on the day of the «interview» I immediately felt at ease. I could tell in a moments notice that she did have tons of experience with shy dogs. She let Emma smell her without eye contact or approaching her in a way that would make her nervous. When Emma let out a growl Roxy immediately knew that it was because she was a little nervous. And she told me, BEFORE I COULD TELL HER, that she knew Emma would run away before ever being aggressive or harm anyone. That’s 100% true but the fact that she told me before I told her was amazing. Just amazing. She brought Emma for a walk while we were there to see how it would work out and it went great. When she was putting the leash on Emma she said «she is going to sit in a minute» and Emma sat right then like magic! She brought her out on a walk while my fiancé and I snuck peeks out the window. I’m pretty sure Emma walked better with Roxy than she does with us.
I highly recommend Walk N Roll Doggie to anyone and everyone. They send you a picture while they are walking your dog and it’s so great to see how happy they look. There have also been numerous times I have had to call at the last minute to schedule a walk and it has never been a problem. They are life savers. To know my dogs are taken care of when we have to work late relieves so much stress.
Call them! You won’t be disappointed!

Roxy, Leslie and Tymisha are awesome. It is just the three of them; nice to know that our girl will see a familiar face each walk day. We have been with them for the past few months, we needed help asap they were able to start right away. A major bonus is for each walk a picture is snapped and texted to me. This is so great because I get a cute picture of my pup while I work and it gives me a time stamp of when she was out so I don’t have to worry/​wonder. My schedule changes quite a bit and Roxy is always so flexible. They have my credit card on file and just charge for the number of walk days that week so it’s really nice not to have to worry about remembering to leave a check, ect. I have been so pleased with Walk N Roll, I would definitely recommend them to any pet owner!

I had a last minute cancellation from the friend who was supposed to take care of my dog, Sam, while I was out of town, and Walk N Roll Doggie really came to the rescue! I took a chance after reading a few Unilocal reviews and seeing their ads around town, and I was not disappointed.
I was so impressed by how friendly and professional they were. They did a thorough collection of the history and ins and outs of Sam, a personalized pre-​dogsitting visit with a meet and greet and sent multiple daily text and picture updates while I was away.
After meeting Kristyne and seeing how much Sam adored her, just in their short meet and greet, the stress of leaving him with a stranger was greatly reduced. While I was away, I could see from the pictures that they sent that he was happy and enjoying his time with Kristyne and Roxy.
We all know the signals of our pets, when they’re happy or sad or feeling neglected, and Sam is definitely with me on the 5 star rating.
While he was happy to see me when I got home, he didn’t seem overly attached to me once I returned, which has happened in the past when I’ve left him with other people. Also, Sam does this weird thing where he’ll fast and hide food when I’m away because he get’s worried that he won’t be fed or I won’t return and then gorges himself once I’m home. I know they took great care of him because when I got home, he ate as if I had never left.
I can’t wait to use Rock N Roll Doggie again! They were wonderful and really took a big part of the stress of going out of town off my shoulders. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone who needed a dogsitter.

These guys are the best!!! I actually think that our puppy thinks they are part of the family (and they kind of are). Walk N Roll has been an absolutely amazing experience for both our dog and us. We travel a lot and Roxy and Kristyne have been very flexible and gone the extra mile to make sure our dog is taken care of. The day care is great for our dog. He comes home happy and tired from playing all day. The walking service is perfect as we can schedule when he is walked for an hour. When they are in our place, they make sure to wipe their feet and dry off our dog (its been raining lately) before letting him loose. They have full pick up and drop off service.
We see other dogs in the neighborhood when walking ours and the feedback is the same: Walk N Roll is amazing to our animals. I would recommend them for anyone!!!

Walk n Roll Doggie has the best service! My husband found the company on the day we moved to Little Italy. I called the next day and Roxy came to our place to meet with our Cavalier, Wesley. We started having them walk Wesley 2 x per week and we quickly moved to 3 x after we saw how much fun Wesley was having. All of the walkers send text pictures and updates to you while they are on the walk. These updates have made me feel that Wesley is always well taken care of. I would not trust my dog with anyone else.

My best friend, Foxy Cleopatra and I were desperate… newly back to town, and working 15+ hour days, I needed someone to keep Cleo company! From the in house meeting, I knew that Kristine and Roxy would take care of my baby! Cleo loves her days with them, and glares at me a little less when I come home :-) And I really do love the extra touch of the photo during their visit… makes me feel that much more comfortable! I would absolutely recommend them!

Everyone with Walk n Roll is great! I have been using them for three years now, with both our little dog and our Great Dane. They are always so great with them, and theres nothing like a photo update when I’m at work to brighten up my day. My schedule can be very hectic with last minute shifts and getting called off, and they have fortunately always been able to accommodate us. Working 12 hour days can be stressful, but its always nice to know that the kids are being taken care of when we cant be there :-)

Ohhh my little Walk stars! These people are Freaking amaing! The only down side is i think my dog now likes them more than he likes me ;) Roxy, Christine, and Kelly are the BOMB​.COM!!! Always flexible with last minute walks. Pictures so i know he’s doing while walking. Not to mention they feed and give him belly rubs! You girls rock!

Walk N Roll Doggie has taken care of my Beagle Blair better than any other service I have used. They truly care about Blair and take care of her the way that I do. They work around my schedule are extremely reliable and always are accommodating. Their rates are extremely reasonable as well compared to other services in San Diego and the fact that they offer pick up and drop off for no extra charge is unbelievable. Since Blair has been attending Day Care, Park Visits Walks and Over Night Services through Walk through Walk N Roll Doggie, her behavior has improved as well as her social skills with other Dogs and People. Thank you Walk N Roll Doggie for taking care of Blair with so much Care and Love. Roxy, Kristyne and Erin are amazing at what they do and put so much thought and care into their business.

When I adopted my Chuy I didnt fully think through what I planned to do with him while I was at work. I found Walk and Roll Doggie who was speedy in their response and very willing to help me get Chuy situated and comfortable. They have been taking excellent care of him for the last 6 months. He always comes home happy and usually exhausted from all the playing he did at daycare, on his field trips, or from his walks. They are so happy to help give him his dinner if I am working late and even clean up when he is being naughty. They are always friendly and happy to help me in whatever it is I need. They pick Chuy up and drop him off too! This is a service that Chuy and I couldnt live without! Thanks WnR for making my lil baby a Walk Star. I wouldnt trust anyone else with him!

I love Walk N Roll Doggie and so does my «kid» Griffey.
We love the attention and care that Roxy and Kristyne and their walkers give Griffey and the variety of offerings (daycare, individual walks, group walks and park visits) and the flexibility and ease of scheduling make my life so much easier.
Roxy & Kristyne treat the pups at daycare like their kids. They send me pictures throughout the day when he is at daycare and pictures from the one on one & group walks. I know all of his dog friends that he plays with during the day through the pictures that they send me.
Griffey has so much fun at daycare and on walks with the Walk N Roll crew. In fact, he has so much fun that I feel like the «b-​squad». I have seen how excited he gets when they come to pick him up.
When I travel for work, Griffey «vacations» at Roxy’s house. He is just as home there as he is in my home. WNRD makes me feel good about leaving him for a few days. I know that he is in great hands.
Walk N Roll Doggie’s variety of offerings like daycare, individual walks, group walks and park walks give Griffey and I a lot of flexibility in terms of managing him during the day. I no longer have to run back and forth from my office at lunchtime to walk Griffey. And, the pick-​up and drop-​off feature make are very convenient.
Scheduling is really easy. At the end of each work week, Roxy sends out an email asking for the following week’s scheduling requests. The personalization and flexibility are phenomenal. And, the best part is is that if something in my schedule changes and i need Griffey to attend daycare or do a walk in a pinch they can fit him in.
I can’t say enough great things about WNRD. They are FABULOUS.

I have a wonderful and spunky cat named Gidget who doesn’t enjoy spending time alone. Erin from Walk n Roll has been a life saver when I am out of town or have to work long hours! She makes sure Gidget is getting all the TLC she needs while I am gone and I trust her 100% with Gidget’s care and well being. I know cats aren’t Walk n Rolls usual clientele, but I would reccomend them to any doting cat owner! Thank you so much guys, you’re the best!

Love, love, love our Walk N Roll walkers!!! We have been customers for about a year now and they are the best!!! My two dachshunds love the time they spend with the walkers everyday. I have never had a single problem with scheduling. We even recently moved and service continued, no problem. Whether it’s just a daily walk or we are out of town and have left our boys with Roxy, I love the daily texts! I feel absolutely comfortable that our dogs are in great hands and getting love and attention. I couldn’t be happier to have found Walk N Roll Doggie for our pups! Now… I hope that I can find a baby sitter as good for our baby :)

Similar story, we were going on vacation and had never left our puppy with anyone else before. The daily picture texts and updates let us completely enjoy our time away and I think for a brief moment, our dog didn’t even want us to come back. She had so much fun playing with the other dogs and when we picked her up, our little ball of energy was truely tired for the first time! Thank you so much Kristyne and Roxy for giving us such a peace of mind and taking great care of our little one!
These girls are amazing and I highly recomend them. I think our dog is looking forward to our next vacation more than we are :)

We had a crazy month in December and were gone more than we had liked. Usually we feel horrible leaving our crazy Shiba Inu, Kirin, at home while we are away but not after finding Roxy and Kristyne and Walk N Roll Doggie. Now our vacations are like vacations to him! He absolutely adores them and has so much fun when they watch him. We can tell that he actually looks forward to us leaving so he can play with them.
Not only are Kristyne and Roxy great with him (he can be difficult), but they are fantastic about keeping us posted on how Kirin is doing while we are gone. From the text messages to photo messages, we are aware of what he is up to at all times. It is really comforting to know that your pet is in good hands while you are far away.
With all that said, I HIGHLY recommend Walk N Roll Doggie to anyone who needs a responsible and loving team to watch their dog while they are gone. You guys are awesome!!! We are all (Kirin included) excited for the next time we can use your services!
