Verizon Wireless Shop

BUYER BEWARE! I wish I had read the other reviews before walking into this store because the sales people are very rude and are liars. They tried to fast talk their way into taking advantage of my senior-​aged parents. Thank goodness I was there! The sales rep then tried to over-​charge me $ 40 on equipment purchases and only when I pointed it out to him did he admit he made a mistake. Then he seemed annoyed as to why I was re-​reviewing the bill again. He forced a total mobile protection plan on both lines even when I said I didn’t want it — he said that «he» would cover it since it was a «really good deal right now!» So of course I got my first bill from Verizon and was billed for the full amount on both lines. Now I have to fight it with Verizon. The best part? When we first told him that yes, we decided to purchase two more lines for my parents, he turned around and actually Cheered to his colleagues. An incredibly unprofessional branch. DO NOT give them your business!

Scam artists! Beware. I don’t do Unilocal reviews, but I signed up just so I can leave one for these guys. Absolutely dishonest. They are only interested in making a buck and well try to get you to sign up for things without you knowing what you’re really doing. Some very interesting bills came my way. Too bad I can’t leave negative reviews as I wouldn’t give them one star.

SKETCHY!!! BEWARE!!! The employee’s there will lie to your face to get a sale. I was sold a 5c and promised a rebate and discount on my bill… also promised that the upgrade would not effect the other lines on the contract. LIES!!! I just got off the phone with the rebate center after not receiving any rebate and they told me that the employee’s gave me the wrong form !!! When i called the store back it was the same employee that sold me the phone. (He looks like he is on drugs and completely unprofessional). First off, I asked his to speak to the store manager and he said, «uhhh I am the manager,» LIESS
then when i explained what he did and how he lied to me he ignored me and kept talking over me trying to change the subject about how he could lower my bill…
When I asked him for the 4^th time, after being ignored, what his name was he said Erik. Which is another LIE, i asked him what his last name was and he hung up on me.
DO NOT ENTER THE STORE!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!
This store will do everything it can to rip you off.
1. Try to charge you over $ 100 more for the phone.
2. Not provide all the paperwork
3. Not let you return a phone until after the 14 day window.
4. Once you’ve returned the phone not put it in verizons system so you are stuck.
This store will also lie and forge your signature on official paperwork. I filed a claim with my CC company and the manager Victor threatened me saying I was a racist and we broke the phone while we were in store. All of these were lies but basically he just made up a bunch of stuff to cover himself.
Please find ANY other store to go in besides this one. If I could I would stand outside the store and tell people to go elsewhere!

Beware! Do not trust these people. Read everything they ask you to sign electronically. There were two shoppers ahead of us complaining about hidden, expensive charges on their bills because they didn’t read what they were signing. We bought tablets and they NEVER told us there would be monthly charges of $ 30 each. Shame on you. Complained to Corporate and they put us on a $ 10/​month charge. You cannot con us like this without word getting out. People! Go to the Verizon store on Sports Arena. They actually work for Verizon.

I recently decided to transfer to Verizon from AT&T. My parent’s are with Verizon so I added a line under their plan. I ordered the new Iphone 5C. It took a few extra days to get there since they didn’t have the phones in stock but that wasn’t a big deal to me. The important part was that I was able to get the same loyalty plan that my parents were on. As soon as the phone was set up, I called customer service & they honored the loyalty plan rate because the retail store didn’t have access to it. So far, the phone is working great! The only problem is that some of my old apps & photos didn’t transfer over because I hadn’t backed them up to my icloud properly. Victor told me to stop by the store with my old phone & he would help me get that taken care of. I’m planning on stopping by this week. One other problem was in regards to the family plan bill payment. The retail store informed me that I could have a separate bill for my portion mailed to my house but when I called Verizon customer service, they said that was incorrect. Luckily, I found a way around that, I set up an account for reoccuring payments with my bank to pay for my portion of the bill. I would definitely go back to this shop again, the issues I experienced were minor.

Eddie was fabulous. I called a few times before coming in and he was so nice and helpful. When I arrived he did everything to help me and he didn’t make me feel the least bit dumb or annoying with all of my many questions.
My family and I have always had a good experience at this store and that is saying a LOT because my senior-​age parents are not at all technically inclined but happily and confidently travel the world with Verizon international cell phones purchased and explained to them by the friendly people at Grand Verizon Wireless :)

Lack of professionalism and customer service. Bought a charger that simply did not work, took it back two days later and was told, «only the boss can do returns». The guy working asked me to come back on a weekday to return the item. I stopped by a couple days later on a WEEKDAY and was told i could not get a refund, only an exchange. I should have known better than to shop here for accessories. Their cell phone accessories are low quality and overpriced… the customer service is non-​existent, and there is just an overall sketchy vibe! Stay away at all costs… pay a little extra and go to a LEGIT Verizon store where the return policies are clear and the right hand knows what the left is doing.

This place is Great, I will always & forever come here. I personally had a different actual corporate verizon store order me a new phone on my insurance plan when I clearly said I was tired of the one I had for almost 4 years cuz it kept crapping out. I told her I wanted Siri on my I phone OR an upgrade maybe. oh, & I was ALSO there to purchase a tablet to get into my business’ web site since I don’t have a computer at home. The Rep gladly sold me the tablet, added Internet connection for $ 10/​mo, said everything was set for my iphone, told me all I had to do was mail the old one back. I asked before leaving about my contacts, & was informed They just stopped using the machines that transfer #‘s. Which brought me to «Wireless shop» in PB on Grand. Victor not only noticed the other store neglected to update my data plane since I NEWLY HAVE A TABLET (Duh, the other girl didnt think of that crucial element?) but he made sure the data plan was going to be updated this next billing cycle. He also helped me get the RIGHT phone, helped transfer ALL my contact info (which was a HUGE pain in the @ss since I hadn’t backed up anything EVER) & made friendly conversation with me since it was taking so long. He even went through SEVERAL expensive screen covdrings to make sure everything was perfect before I left (no bubbles etc) Talk about customer service! I was so Happy I felt the need to buy some goodies for my new phone, which were way better priced than the corporate store. & They have a HUGE selection of shwag, Wall to Wall. Fun stuff! I would totally suggest everyone to go to this tiny Diamond in the Rough.

This is my go to store in the Pacific Beach area! I went to the corporate store right down the street, the guy there seemed like he has no time for me and didn’t help at all.
The guys at this store, Ian and Omar were so helpful! They helped me set up my new phone step-​by-​step and made sure I had no questions.
I recommend going here instead of the one on Garnet, they actually take their time to help you in what ever you may need, big or small.
