I have had the same stylist for as long as I can remember, however, her schedule was becoming increasingly restricted so I knew I had to make a change. Additionally, I had to carve about 2 hours out of a very busy schedule to drive there, get the job done, and drive back to my store. Gina came highly recommended, so I decided to cut the chord, leave my comfort zone and give her a try. One great thing… she was just around the corner from my store so I could walk there in less than 2 minutes. When I arrived, a great big smile greeted me (I was a little nervous… I’m kinda’ picky about this process), she asked me a few questions… then off to the wash we went. As she was working her magic, we had a very pleasant conversation and I suddenly felt very relaxed. ‘Next thing I knew, we were back to the basin to do a «rinse». I thought ‘wow, this is cool, no one has ever done that before’. She explained that it washed away all the little hair fragments that remain in your hair after a cut. I was impressed. The result… it was absolutely perfect! Gina is a paragon of her trade. I have never in my life had anyone cut my hair the first time and do it perfectly. And this certainly won’t be the last time she cuts it either. I’m her newest «regular».what a find!

Gina is great and the atmosphere is always friendly… I wish I wasn’t so busy to get over there more often!

I have been going to Sandy for years (at least over 7 years). Sandy is amazing! She always does an amazing job on my cut and color. I usually let her do what she thinks is best and I am always extremely impressed with the results. My husband always loves it too!

Sandy did my hair for my wedding on 9÷21÷13 and did an amazing job! It looked exactly how I wanted it! She added extensions a few days before the wedding and they added exactly what she needed to really create the perfect up do for the wedding!!! I was extremely thrilled with the results! And it stayed in perfectly all night and since I wanted it a bit messy the few hairs that fell out of the messy bun looked perfect!
Sandy also did the hair for all 4 of my bridesmaids, my mom, 2 flower girls and the groom’s sister. She did all of it without an assistant and worked from 8 am to 3 pm non-​stop. Everyone’s hair turned out amazing! I told all of the girls they could do whatever they wanted with their hair and so everyone had completely different looks and she did such a great job on such a variety of looks and hair types and lengths.
I would recommend Sandy as a hair dresser for a wedding as well as on a regular basis. She does an amazing job! I will add pictures soon!

This is a very small salon but has a wonderful location in Old Town.
I’ve been going to Sandy for years for hair cut, color, and style. I’ve also had her do hair extensions and eye lash extensions.
She did the hair and makeup for my wedding as well and everything was beautiful!
The shop has a lot of cute little trinkets for sale. Jewelry, clothing, and a few other accessories, as well as (of course) hair products.
I love the atmosphere here, all the stylists are super friendly and cheerful.

I’ve been seeing Gina at Vanilla for about 9 years now and I would never trust anyone else with my hair. Her salon is small and quaint and you definitely get lots of personalized attention while there. There is also a wonderful assortment of clothing and accessories, so you can shop before or after your appointment. I love jewelry and I’ve found some really interesting estate pieces while getting my hair cut.
The pricing is very reasonable for coloring and haircuts and she pays a lot of attention to detail. I have a bob and she never hesitates to spend 1.5 cutting my hair to make sure it’s perfect and every hair is in place. I can’t tell you how many regular compliments I get on my cut. So many that now I carry her business cards around for when people ask about who cuts my hair.
