History

Established in 2005.

For more than a decade, I have been involved with the Inspection, Remodeling and Restoration of Historic properties and Carpentry in new homes in Virginia and San Diego. I started Vanguard Property Inspection more than 10 years ago after graduating Inspection Training Associates and passing National exams, but spread my time between Inspecting on my own, working with other Inspection Companies and other professions in the industry until I very organically built a large enough agent and referral list to do this full time. I did not simply buy a company from someone, I have built VPI from the ground level over many years. I have 30 Inspection Certifications and continue my education through InterNachi. Living in San Diego for more than 25 years I have a great understanding of the local construction, building systems and the lifestyle of the area.

On a personal level I have been an Artist and Musician in many genres all of my life and have been involved with many Charity based art shows and events in San Diego. I am known for having a very keen eye for detail, an unmatched work ethic, dedication to my trades, and I bring the same level of integrity that I put into all my personal artistic en devours and bring them to my business. Always going above and beyond to keep my clients satisfied, because that is how I stay satisfied as a person, a business owner, and as one part of a greater community.
