If you wanting to make the Military or should I say The US Army as a career. Then Kearny Mesa Recruiting Office is the place to go. I went to this Office after knowing i was going nowhere and played at the Previous office, Everyone at this Office Is Great they all work as a team no one is competing against one another. They all helped me go thru my process from the beginning! They all make sure that this is what you really want to do from SGT. Dean, SGT. Lindsay, SGT. Win, SGT. Shin, SGT. Kong, and Future Soldier Leader SGT.Price. They all make sure that when you make this big decision theres no going back. They are Great, Fun, very Friendly Recruiters. But they know that every step till you leave for Basic Training is 110% important as well! Im glad that I saw the other reviews on Unilocal for this Office, and if you would ever ask me what office should I go to sit down and ask Questions Kearny Mesa US Army Recruiting Office is the place I would tell you to go and the only place I would tell you to go. There are a lot of Recruiting Offices out that have Recruiters that just look at you just as a number they need to get for there quota, But Not Kearny Mesa they look at you as A person making a Great descision and help you get the Job you want if its Active, Reserve or getting you the Job that will help you for the future Civilian career you always wanted. So I tell you again If you want to go into the Military as a career or for experience and your thinking about Army as the Branch the Go visit or give call to Kearny Mesa Recruiting Office.

Hi, how are you? Did you get things worked out? Let me know about church today.
Me:
No I’m still confused. I’m thinking of joining the army as an officer. What do you think of that?
Mom:
well now you have really lost it. church what time?
I still decided to go in and talk to a recruiter. They wanted me to take a pre ASVAB and I was like «woah, I just have questions, not trying to move forward in any way at this point.» Glad, I did that, because just an FYI at the point of an application, they have to document everything, prior to an application it’s «off the record». Keep that in mind when you decide or don’t decide to disclose things that may immediately disqualify you if you were to tell them. Do your research prior. I spoke to Sgt. Kong, super nice guy, a a bunch of other guys who came up to answer questions. I was there for over an hour, was going to apply and then learned about some things «off the record» and decided not to. If you have the ability to join the reserves as an officer (what I wanted to do), I highly recommend it, but go in and educate yourself without doing an application first.

First I am going to preface this with; if you are deciding your future in the military based on Unilocal reviews then you should seriously look at your priorities and what you are ready to commit to the United States Armed Forces.
That said, if you are actually going to use this website to base your decision upon which Recruitment Station to walk into, then the US Army Recruiting Station in Kearny Mesa are the ones to speak with. I initally signed up in the summer of 09, I shipped to Basic Training in the spring of 10, and I am now about 5 months away from reporting to my first duty station as a 2Lt. in the US Army Infantry. My Recruiter, (SSG Spears) broke his back ensuring I qualified for and secured the exact job I wanted in the Army. Something he and every Recruiter in that office does for every potential soldier. Part of my processing and paperwork even ran into some snags which he doggedly straightened out and ensured were 100% before I left. The members of the Kearny Mesa Office work as a cohesive unit as oppossed to the «Real Estate» type of mentality that can be felt in other Recruitment Stations. For example the Recruiter next to mine, a SSG Cooper is in the Infantry, and since that was what I was interested in, he was able to share first hand insight as to what that career path would be like. Each and every Army Recruiter at the Kearny Mesa Station reflect the professionalism, expertise, and pride that embodies the United States Army.
If you decide that a career in the military; whether it be for yourself, your family, or for our nation is the next step in your life, then the Soldiers at the US Army Recruiting Station in Kearny Mesa are the ones to help you acheive that goal. Make no mistake, it is on you as an individual to be physically and mentally prepared for military service, but the Kearny Mesa Army Recruiters will do everything they can for qualified persons to find the best fit for you within the many branches of the US Army.
