Where only the beautiful people live lol. This is my neighborhood and it’s amazing! Great night life, never dull, and I get to look at the beautiful lit university Heights sign every night. This neighborhood and all the stores and shops that surround it are dog friendly and damn near open 24 hours. There’s a nice park close by for my fellow runners and outdoors exercise junkies to indulge in, as well as the famous Adams avenue, antique row, and Kensington neighborhoods close by with more food and shops galore.

University Heights is so much more than just Park Blvd, although this is a great street with amazing places. But every now and then it’s good to venture off to the not so popular side. You’ll be amazed at all the great places you find in this area. Lots of great places for eating and drinking, here are my favorites : –Red House Pizza(they offer gluten free choices. My favorite is the Aloha Pig) –Bahn Thai(my favorite Thai place and totally worth the wait) –Plumeria Vegetarian(I don’t mind coming here with my vegetarian friends) –El Zarape(stays open late!!) –Lei Lounge(enjoy a cocktail for their happy hour) –Bourbon St(lots of fun on Friday and Saturday nights) dance dance dance –Cueva Bar(tapas bar) –Farm House Café(yummy breakfast) — Polite Provisions(great craft cocktails) –Cantina Mayahuel(Micheladas con sangrita and good mole, plus great happy hour!) –Soda and Swine(right next door to Polite Provisions. Try anything in the menu and you’ll love it. I’d recommend the Scotch Egg and the meatball sub) –Jaynes Gastropub(loved their Valentines pre-fixed dinner) –Hanna’s Gourmet(try the biscuit and eggs, green chilaquiles, red velvet and chocolate chip pancakes and the carrot cake pancakes) –Señor Mangos(fresh fruit salads, juices, smoothies, sandwiches, tortas and acai bowl) –Poor House Brewing Company(cool little place to hang out with friends and great beer selection) I’m pretty sure I’ll have to keep coming back to add more places but this is all I can remember at the top of my head. Overall a great neighborhood, clean, safe and with lots of places for every taste and mood. Parking can be a pain in the buns if you go around Park Blvd, but it’s totally worth it. Most likely a great time awaits after 5 mins of circling around for parking. I’d figured since I’m the Baroness I would write a review with more than 2 words.
