Owner of Unique & Chic Interiors, Darla Blake, ASID, CID is an award winning residential interior designer & home stager, located in Irvine, CA.

I work with each client to create environments that celebrate creativity & versatility, to create innovative & captivating, yet classic designs.

From a complete remodel, new construction, or simply consulting on a color palette, furniture placement, fabrics, window treatments, art placement, or accessorizing. I will work with you on an hourly consulting basis or take on the entire project in a professional manner. We will work together to make the process fun and exciting.

If you are selling your house I can help you get it sold FAST by staging the home to make it more attractive to buyers. The cost is small compared to having your home sit on the market for months!

History

Established in 1993.

Two words that best describe interior designer, Darla Blake are unique and chic. Not only is that the name of her thriving interior design firm in Irvine, CA… Unique & Chic Interiors… but those words also capture her personal and professional style.

Darla has traveled all over the United States, as well as internationally, to bring her creative visions to reality. Nothing is too big or too small a challenge for this talented designer.

Darla has appeared on many TV shows on HGTV, Lifetime Television and USA Network. Her designs have been featured in magazines and newspapers around the country, including the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily News, Soap Opera Weekly, Malibu Times, Hollywood Reporter, Denver Post and Daily Variety. Her work is featured in two books, «Ultimate Decorating» and «How to Design the Perfect Interior.»

I am a professional member of The American Society of Interior Designers and California Council for Interior Design Certification.

Whether it’s collaborating from the first meeting with an architect on a vacant lot, to bringing in the general contractor and crew, to the finishing touches of paint color, custom furniture, lighting and accessories, I work with each client to create environments that celebrate their creativity and versatility. I listen closely to what the client says so I can give them their dream home.

I also really enjoy designing a small project where I work on a consulting basis; using the existing furniture but rearranging the placement, add a few accessories, move art around a bit, add some paint and voila, it looks like a new house!

Home Staging is another aspect of Unique & Chic Interiors. We make a

house, that is for sale, more attractive to a buyer and the home will sell in half the amount of time.
