Veronica lives up to the name ‘Type A’ in a great way! She is on top of things, organized, decisive and it’s obvious she has incredible integrity. Her warm personality, confidence and talent give you the sense (pretty much immediately) that everything is going to be AWESOME because she has everything under control. You are in great hands with Veronica, I highly and frequently refer her to my clients.

I had a pleasure to work with Veronica from Type A Soirée and let me tell you — this girl knows her stuff! Not only she is very hard working person, she is very professional and organized! After working with her and getting in some ‘behind the scenes’ of whats involved into planning and organizing a wedding/​event, i have complete new respect for wedding planners! Veronica has so much knowledge about littlest details that i would not even think of! She paid attention to everything. size of the table, size of the runner, matching colors, particular shapes of chargers, etc, etc. She even told me she hired a florist to get some education on flowers, their names, which ones r in season, when and so on!
I can go on and on but one thing i know for sure — my event would not turn out nearly as beautiful and organized had Veronica not coordinated it! Thank you SO much Type A Soirée! You r the best!

We had the pleasure of working with Veronica at an event in August 2015. She is incredibly talented and lovely. My husband and I are wedding vendors as well (musician and DJ), and we aren’t always treated the best by the coordinators. Veronica was different. She treated us with respect and made sure we had all the necessary hookups and equipment to get the job done! She cared about every vendor she worked with, and never showed a sign of stress throughout the whole event. I would recommend her to any new bride looking for some help. She did such a beautiful job, and the wedding couldn’t have looked or felt any better!

Veronica and her interns, Jennifer and Emily, were OUTSTANDING!!! I had one month to plan my wedding and when the day finally came everything was perfect!!! I honestly owe it to these ladies for making the day run so smoothly. Prior to the wedding, Veronica was responsive in both email and text communications with myself and my vendors. On the day of the wedding, her and her girls were professional and attentive. They were also so easy to get along with and made me feel so at ease with everything. This review is from the father of the bride. Veronica did a great job at my daughter’s wedding. I was able to have fun and feel like a guest, which is the best of compliments, and not worry about a thing… or think anymore about what could go wrong. I totally underestimated the time, planning, coordination, level of detail, intensity and for sure, the cost of a wedding for 175 people, and really wondered how I let this go as far as it did… but Veronica was there whenever I called or needed her-​to keep it calm, and everyone on task. On the big day, she was in tactical form and ready to go. She was everywhere, handled the vendors, guests, and anyone who needed help or attention. She is organized and professional, very flexible, well informed, full of good ideas, and has an amazing capacity to handle it all, and maintain coolness and grace under pressure. We had a wonderful event and it was a great success. I strongly recommend Type A Soirée Events for wedding planning and coordination.

Veronica did an outstanding job at this weekend’s wedding. I’ve worked in the industry for roughly 10 years as a photographer and she handled this wedding like a top-​notch pro. With rain all day, she managed to keep things on track and have several back-​up plans in place. She’s quick on her feet and ready to handle any challenge thrown her way. Veronica helped my fiancé throw an awesome, surprise birthday party for me in Little Italy, complete with my favorite champagne, dessert (red velvet cupcakes), pink gerber daisies, candles lit throughout the room and even a Frank Sinatra singer (my favorite!)

I hired Veronica for consulting and month of/​day of coordination for my daughter’s wedding on March 27, 2015. The wedding was at the Darlington House in La Jolla, California. The venue provides nothing (except an amazingly beautiful setting for a wedding!) so EVERYTHING needed to be brought in. We had to pick and hire every single vendor and it was daunting at times! We could NEVER have done it without Veronica! She put us in touch with some of the most incredible vendors! She definitely earned her fee (a few times over!) with all the emails, meetings and a LOT of hand-​holding and reassuring.
The wedding was everything my daughter dreamed of and we are still getting complements that it was the most fun and the most beautiful wedding our guests have ever attended.
I would definitely hire Veronica (and her awesome group of «day of» interns!) in a heartbeat!

Veronica was our day-​of coordinator for our wedding and her help and advice were invaluable. Leading up to the day, she was helpful in providing and coordinating vendors, sending me timelines, and being an experienced sounding board. Sometimes things happen for reason, and I thankfully stumbled upon Veronica.
I was planning my fiancé’s surprise birthday party and also planning a trip out of the country. Needless to say with time running short I started to think about what if I could use an event coordinator. Having never used one before I found myself looking on Unilocal at different reviews. My event was an intimate dinner with about 16 people. Again having never used a coordinator before, I was a little intimidated to see that 99% of the reviews were all about weddings.
Veronica at Type A Soirée happened to be the first company I called. I left a message for her as it was approaching a late hour about 6 o’clock for her to call me as soon as she could. I made a few other phone calls leaving messages at each, when Veronica call me a few minutes later. She actually took the time to explain to me what a coordinator does and how she could help.
After spending about 20 minutes on the phone with her I quickly came to realize I needed someone like her back in the states to handle all the details. It was the best investment I have made. By the way, I’m still waiting for the other company to call me back.
Veronica took care of every last detail including finding the venue that could accommodate a singer. Coordinating with a specific singer that I wanted to be at the party, whom she never done business with before. She also ordered red velvet cupcakes, which our venue couldn’t do, ensured that punk gerbera daisies were part of the centerpieces, she had tablecloths laid out, real candles lit all around the room, she stayed on site and took photos and on and on and on. Quite frankly Veronica handled everything right up to the very end and beyond.
So don’t think your event is too small or too big Veronica did an awesome job and the next party I have she will absolutely be a part of it. My fiancé is type A, I am more type B, give me big picture not minutiae and she was over the moon about the party and really impressed, as was I.

Veronica is a fantastic coordinator! She coordinated my day of wedding in August and did a great job. She not only coordinates well, her personality is fabulous and she gets to know you as a person so she can help with any final touches with an event! I would highly recommend her!

Veronica was the best fit and plan for my needs as a planner myself. I had a very good friend whom I helped plan their wedding but was sadly unable to attend the event as a guest or even help day-​of due to other prior commitments. My friend needed some professional, top-​notch, detailed day-​of help and after knowing Veronica, we were the best team for her. It was hard handing over an event that I had worked so hard on to her as things got closer, kinda felt like a bride that plans everything and has full control and then has to do what is best — which is hand it all over so someone else can check handle all the final details.
