I have found many hidden gems on Unilocal over the years but this coffee shop has to be my number one find. I try and eat as healthy as possible. I feel like everyone in San Diego is a little nutty about eating right, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with that! I try and cook my own meals but sometimes I get sick of chicken and vegetables and I crave something different. This is my favorite place to get a healthy lunch that is not one of my prepped meals. Their wraps are so bomb! I usually get the turkey wrap. All the ingredients are fresh and you can tell the people in the back making it actually care about what they are creating. You can either choose a side salad or chips to go along with your wrap. I usually get the salad but sometimes I spring for the chips. They are freshly made and are some of the best I have ever had! I hope this place never changes because I will keep coming back as long as I live in the area.

One of my favorite cafes in San Diego, great breakfast sandwiches and acai bowls! Add PB to the acai bowl, it’s too good

Huge fan of this place. By day, it is your fully-functioning coffee joint, complete with incredible loaded bagels-with-everything, acai bowls, coffee drinks, sandwiches, and diverse options for fruity iced teas. There is nothing I’ve tried here that I did not like. Nothing! Dog friendly patio, and sometimes I’ve seen the dogs come inside too. By night, you can come in with bae and enjoy a glass of wine or beer and share a meat and cheese board while jazz plays in the background and the lights are dimmed. How amazing is that! Love it.

If you’re looking for great coffee, a bite to eat, patio seating, or a cozy spot indoors, Turquoise is calling your name! They’re blended lattes are the BOMB! I highly recommend the Tahitian Vanilla. They’ve got a great selection of food items as well — everything from croissant breakfast sandwiches to salads and wraps. My faves are the caprese salad and the turkey Panini. The staff here is wonderful! They are so cute and friendly and always try to get your order out quickly. They also play some really great music. Totally killin’ it with the coffee house vibes, all around. I have very few criticisms about Turquoise. There were a few times I went in recently where their bathroom was closed to customers… not great for a place serving food and drinks! Good thing I live on the same block, but this was probably a problem for people planning to work here on their comps! Hopefully, this problem is remedied now or will be remedied soon.

I got an acai bowl and my wife got a Mexican mocha and a BLT. The acai bowl was the blended style but I thought the blend was a little bland. The toppings were good though. My wife loved her BLT and here Mexican mocha. It’s a cool place.

Good coffee, good food, good music … Plus chill atmosphere and great place to get some thinking done. At night they turn into a wine/beer bar and have a pretty darn good selection of California wines to choose from … And craft beers… All that Plus eye candy for your multiple senses

I try and come here for lunch at least twice a week. I usually get the turkey wrap, it has mozzarella cheese, fresh turkey, and lettuce sprouts and other goodies. You can choose between potato chips and a side salad. I always choose the chips because they are homemade to order. It is a good scene in here, there are always a bunch of people in here studying and conducting work meetings. I love it. Much better to bring your business here than some big box place like Starbucks.

I love this cute coffee shop /wine bar. Great menu and coffee selection. Lots of space and the open front is so bright and airy. Only wished it had more outlets for those of us who bring our laptops to work with our coffee and treats. I also have had my drink order wrong a few times and wish coffee was still available when it switches to a wine bar after 5. Im a late coffee drinker! Besides that, its one of my favorite coffee shops in SD!

I was pretty excited to find this coffee shop! I went in seeking some coffee, WiFi and a chill work space. I ordered a flavored iced coffee, that was bold and delicious and a loaded bagel that had cream cheese, tomato, sprouts and some lemon pepper. Both were a great afternoon snack! Plenty of table space inside and outside. Some outlets along the wall if you need to plug in. And a bathroom(another reviewer said there was no public bathroom)! A great spot to grab some breakfast or lunch, have coffee with a friend or even a date! #sandiegofoodgirls

Awesome place in PB away from all the craziness. Great and friendly staff and an awesome value for what you pay! I usually get their famous Acai bowl with a delicious fresh brewed coffe. Come in, you won’t regret it!

I have been coming here for quite some time. I usually get the delicious turkey club or the Italian sandwich. Always hits the spot, I really like the options of getting chips or greens. The acai is pretty good and I would recommend it. Most places for coffee give two shots of espresso for a large, but this one has 3!!! Woo hooo! Love my espresso! Service is awesome even if they are busy… but the best kept secret is the wine/beer bar in the back! Best of both worlds! Enjoy!

One of my favorite coffee shops in PB! Their iced coffee is amazing! I’m really picky when it comes to iced coffee and Turquoise knows how to do it right! I love coming here on the weekends for some coffee and to catch up on emails. It’s a really cool vibe, they feature local artists and rotate the artwork regularly, great seating options on the patio or inside. A great place to do work or just catch up with a friend. My only complaint is their breakfast menu is mediocre and over priced. $ 7 for a breakfast bagel that is nothing special just isn’t worth it. And the acai bowl is way overhyped. They only offer a massive size now– who can eat that much acai?! I wish the breakfast menu were better so I just come here for coffee now.

Cute coffee shop on the corner with spacious seating. They even have a wine bar in the back(how cool is that?). There’s a couple of outlets along the walls, but those seats fill up fast. I came here to study with my friend, and everything was going well until I needed to use the restroom… and realized they don’t have one for customers. Caffeine is considered a diuretic, and I don’t know about you, but coffee just flows right through me. I love the atmosphere and the friendly workers here, but if you’re coming to study for long hours, not having access to a restroom kind of sucks. Still, it’s a great coffee shop and an awesome place to catch up with friends. They serve bagels, sandwiches, smoothies, and acai bowls in addition to coffee.

Squatters, coffee shop office peeps, students without Internet, Housewives checking out Tinder make some room for a guy who just wants some coffee and a seat. Totally kidding, I have no idea what the customers are doing in Turquoise. Turquoise has ample seating inside and a nice little patio outside. You may have to wait a little while for a seat since it is a very comfortable place to sit down and work or chat with friends. Now the most important thing about Turquoise is the the quality of espresso/coffee beans. I got coffee one day and a latte the next and both drinks were bold and full of flavor. Nice to get away from Starbucks and enjoy the local scene and flavor!!! I wasn’t hungry either time to try the food, but it looked good. Next time for sure!

They can make you a smaller acai bowl than the size on their menu if you want(just ask). It’s not overly amazing, but it’s still pretty good. I like their granola. Not a lot of outlets near the front, so try to snag a seat at or near the bar stool seating closer to the back if you need to charge up. Wifi was really slow when I was there on a busy Saturday. Had to tether to my phone instead. Coffee was not great, on the watery side.

Mmmm! The turkey pesto panini is delicious here! As soon as I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to have it. Pesto is my weakness and they definitely don’t slack on the pesto. Both sides of the bread received a healthy layer of mouthwatering pesto and the sandwich had so much wonderful flavor! There was also large pieces of gooey mozzarella and juicy tomatoes. The only part that seemed a little skimpy was the turkey as it could have used an extra slice or so to balance the other toppings out. But overall, the sandwich was really good. I thought about ordering the acai bowl but it seemed a little pricey at $ 10. I’m used to seeing bowls priced around $ 7 or at least offering two different sizes. I love that the café is dog friendly. My pug enjoyed dining with my friend and I(and her dog) on the patio. All the staff seems to love dogs too!

Everything tastes good accept the acai bowls. Acai bowls are watered down with a lot of ice and soy milk. Great ambiance and location. If you come with a big group, don’t order the panini because they only have 2 panini makers so it will take forever for you to get your food. I rate them 5 stars overall.

On a mission to compare all the great acai bowls in SD. Turquoise café has a great vibe with a lot of seating. We ordered an acai bowl with granola, fruit, and a large dollop of PB on top as well as a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwiches are kind of plain if you don;t get it on a croissant to kick up the flavor with the butter. Pretty dry. But the acai bowl was pretty darn good. A lot of granola in this one so ask for less if you’re not a big on granola or trying to cut some calories. We asked for the honey on the side since it’s pretty sweet and I am glad we did. Otherwise I really like it. It’s a bit pricey($ 10) but it’s like 24 oz or something crazy huge like that. I wish they offered different sizes to be honest. I think my favorite acai bowl in SD right now is Myxologie in downtown but this one is pretty tasty. At night the café seems to turn into like a wine bar or something so I definitely want to come back to try that.

This is my go to coffee, study, and/or lounging spot. I love this place. I’m probably their number 1 fan. I studied here throughout my graduate program and was honestly there 2−3x a week. The baristas are amazing and are always so helpful when you are that indecisive person in line(me). They’ve recently raised there prices, but I think the quality of the coffee and the food is worth it. They stop serving coffee around 4 and open«Turquoise Cellars»…their wine bar. I highly suggest getting there $ 5 sangria and to partake in on their Wednesday evening trivia nights.

This is the place to come to after beach yoga on Saturdays or Sundays. Their acai bowls are really, really, good!!! Caution, the small is LARGE! Also they will make customizations like adding peanut butter to your acai… bomb. I also love their coffee. It’s seriously good. They have seating inside and outside. I look forward to this place every time we go do namasteve’s class. I recommend!
