Mark at ‘Tow For Less’ did a great job of transporting my dead car from LJ to the dealership on Miramar Rd (13 miles away). He also turned up promptly at 8am as agreed, so no waiting around for hours. I would use Mark again. It was great value at less than $ 100 for at least 1 hour of work.

This is a small family owned business. The son, Mark was very pleasant on the phone, drove all the way from east county to Mira Mesa to pick up my vehicle. Prices were extremely reasonable and service was fast. He even called me to tell me it had been dropped off. Highly recommended!

Awesome service and very affordable. The guy whom towed me arrived and got out of his car to meet me and then expertly backed into my driveway while avoiding cars around him and got my car on his tow truck and then took me to the auto body I needed to go to while also being very professional, confident and personable. I highly recommend this business for your automotive towing needs. The card reads «…professional service at affordable rates.» — Correct on both counts! :)

Love love love them!
Car broke down at the car wash today! They came within 20 minutes as they said, picked up my car and towed it fast to the garage.
What can I say, it was easy, cheap and the guy who towed my car was friendly (and we all know how important it is in such stressful time and how grumpy we get when it happens: D) :D
I know who to call next time my car breaks down! Only paid $ 51 to tow it from car wash to car repair… I towed it in downtown SD limits but still… Thumbs up!

I contacted the Snappy Auto Repair shop and they contacted this towing company. Didn’t take long to tow my car. I received a call within minutes telling me when they would be here, and a call 10 minutes before they came to pick up the car. The guys who picked up the car was super nice, helped answer some of the questions I had & help relieved some of the stress. Hooking up took no longer then 10 minutes maybe even less. Very fast service, good price, and great customer service. If I am ever in need of a tow I will definitely call them, but hopefully that won’t have to happen.

Horrible. My first mistake was in not asking how much they charge, until the driver had my car on the flatbed (the driver was very nice). He told me $ 205. I was having the car towed only 7 miles, so I mentioned that I thought that was rather high. He suggested I call his boss (the owner).
I then explained again to the owner that I was only having the car towed 7 miles and asked if I could get a price break. He said ‘no’. Very politely, I said, «So, I could either pay you $ 200, or have the driver drop my car and call another company and have them charge me $ 125?». He said «That’s okay with me.»
So, I did. I then called Hawks Towing & Road Service (760−741−5569) and they showed up in about 20 minutes and towed my car for a grand total of $ 78. Yes, $ 78; saving me $ 127.

Getting your car towed is like getting a root canal — no matter what, you’re not going to like the guy who gives you the service.
Which is why I’m even more impressed with Vic and Tow for Less. Unlike AAA tows of the past, Vic showed up quickly on an early Friday morning smiling and genuinely thankful for my business. When I told him that people online had good things to say about him, he said: «Well, I’m glad that’s working, but I don’t know how to use it.» Yeah, I don’t know either.
Anyways, he was a pleasure to work with, had a firm handshake, a warm smile, and an awesome accent. He took care of my car and his prices were printed right on the sheet — you know no one’s jacking up prices based on how helpless you are. Bravo!

Uh… less then what??? I have AAA but they failed to tell me i couldn’t upgrade to the plus status that allows you to get towed more then 7 miles for 7 days. So, I called this place to see how much it would cost to tow my car 20 miles. Keep in mind the starting location is about 5 blocks from ths shop… uh… quoted me, non emergency, regular daytime business hours, $ 105.00 really? for a 20 minute tow? I need to get myself a tow truck. No thanks.

Great experience! He took my car to the dealer for half the price I was quoted from other tow companies (seven miles for $ 65, as opposed to $ 140+ from the other companies). My car has a really really low suspension, but he took care of it, nothing was scratched. Plus he arrived in fifteen minutes, just like he said, as opposed to some other tow companies. Great guy, great service. You should call him, I highly recommend him!
