Went there with the family. I wasn’t expecting anything great but surprisingly, everything was fresh and delicious. Pleasantly surprised! Service was friendly and I especially enjoyed the jojo roll and the dragon roll. I left very satisfied.

Came here for my birthday. The owner was extremely disrespectful. We asked for a heater because we were cold and sitting outside. And all he said was«oh i heard that before» and didn’t given us a heater.!had to give this place one star. Even though one of the waitresses was really nice.

Sometimes I write reviews solely so that the manager of the restaurant can use it to look into their staff and realize that some of them are costing them money. I am not the first person to say that the wait staff is less than timely. The only reason this isn’t getting one star is because I gotta give a star to my main man, the head sushi chef. The straw that broke this faithfully returning camel’s back was my last visit to Todo with my boyfriend last weekend. It was late, almost closing time but we were early enough not to be the last people there. We walked in and waited about 5 minutes before taking our own seats at the bar as the hostess pointed when she saw us pulling out some chairs. The waiter with unkempt hair pulled into an elastic headband(pretty sure those are mainly for women and/or basketball/soccer players) asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We both asked for water and then began to write in our order on the menu. After giving our order slip directly to the sushi chefs because we had not seen from our waiter in 5 minutes, we wondered where our waters were. Another 5 minutes went by so we started to look around for him and he was busy standing at the POS station, not really doing much it seemed, but I could be wrong. Finally another 5 minutes(that is now 15 minutes since we asked for our waters) went by and we asked our sushi chef if he could flag down the waiter. He did and a different waitress brought us two waters with no ice and a «slice» of lemon that looked like they had just pulled it out of a pile of compost. After getting our food, we were appeased, luckily our sauce needs were met by our chef so no interaction from our waiter was needed. When my boyfriend finished his water I gave him mine since the waiter had literally not been back by our section since we first sat down, at least 30 minutes now. When he finished my water, we began the futile attempt to get our waiter to bring us more. Again we could not find him or get any kind of eye contact so we asked our chef after 10 minutes. He got the attention of our waiter and he seemed to understand that we wanted 2 waters. Five minutes later the waters were still not around and our waiter was frolicking around not tending to anyone at the bar. Finally I asked our chef again and he walked and got our waters himself, clearly annoyed by the waiter’s indifference of his JOB. Then came time for the check. Oh man I was not looking forward to this. Eventually after(you guessed it!) not getting our waiters attention again we turned to our chef who asked him for the check. He came over and dropped off the check and I immediately put my card on the tray hoping he would take it on his way back toward us. Unfortunately he didn’t so after 5 minutes waiting, I picked it up, walked it to the POS station and asked to be checked out. I almost always give TIPS but I want to make a point when I do not. In this case, I tipped my sushi chefs in their separate jar and left 0.00 tip on the bill. The reason I did this is because the purpose of tips, which actually is an acronym that stands for TOINSUREPROMPTSERVICE was completely missed. We didn’t have prompt service therefore you do not get tipped. Even if I have a waiter who kind of cares, he gets something! 15% or SOMETHING, but this guy didn’t deserve it for his job. I really hope he reads this and doesn’t take offense but takes it as a lesson that you should try 100%, especially when someone is paying you for it. Don’t get me wrong, the sushi chefs at the bar are the best! So fun! The head guy even plays little games with us with our sauces, it is very entertaining. You guys rock! Unfortunately though, the wait staff is important and with such crappy service, it is tough to want to ever come back. Is this your way of making people take to go, giving up that extra 10% discount? Sheesh, it’s working.

This place reminds of Sushi Deli when they have their discounted rates. The servers and sushi chefs are very friendly. I really enjoyed the friendly service. The sushi tasted pretty good and fresh.

CONS –Food took a long time to come out. –Fruit flies constantly flying over the table and landing on food. –Took 15 minutes just to wave down a waitress to order more food even though she was asking other tables how they were doing. –Never received ginger or wasabi. –Only asked about refills on drinks once. PROS –Sushi was unique

The order was fresh and made quickly. the stuffed jalapeño roll not so tasty at all there is no spice and really no flavor. The jalapeño poppers were left out; big bummer because I was really looking forward to them. The caterpillar roll is on point. Next time hopefully I won’t miss out on the poppers. Parking was found with ease and I really liked that I was able to walk in and pick up my order and not have to wait extra. The review went down a bit also because as I was eating the roll I swallowed a piece of plastic and that was really unpleasant and it really killed the appetite.

Even though this place offers some pretty good lunch specials, I decided to go for strictly for a variety of cut rolls. I went for the salmon, tuna, and yellow tail and scallions cut roll. All the Maki Rolls were 50% off, so the prices were bliss. The salmon roll was great because they it not only came with rich buttery salmon, but with creamy avocado and crunchy slivers of cucumber. This is one of my favorite maki or cut rolls because it’s always a good balance soft fatty salmon and crunchy crispy cucumber, brought together nicely my the ripe avocado. At $ 4, this was a winner. The tekka maki or tuna cut roll was good. The roll was six pieces with good quality tuna. the tuna was slightly oily and had a good flavor. The tuna to rice ratios was very good and leaning towards more tuna than rice. They yellow tail and scallion roll was equally as good. The yellow tail had a lighter flavor than the tuna but a more flavor of the sea. The scallions were nice in this roll and added that peppery flavor and a bit a texture as well. I would order all three rolls again, and if you eat at the sushi bar, upon sitting they offer you a small salmon sashimi salad which was great. Also, while I was finishing up my meal, the sushi chef presented me with two krab stuffed tempura fried jalapeño poppers and those were great. The tempura was just right with its light crunchy texture and the jalapeño was cooked to a tender touch. Great food, reasonable prices, and great service, of course I am a fan!

Here’s why I give it two stars… 1) The manager/host seated me very rudely in a bar location that had no view of the TV and was not considerate upon request to be in my line of sight. 2) The sushi was poorly made(rainbow & todo roll), fell apart, and the fish was extra dark(not fresh). There were flies in my area and the servers only checked in on me when I needed to leave. Bad service and poor quality of food.

Okay i’m going to be real here… but every time I try to give this place a chance it always does even worse than the last time I visited. My family and friends love coming here and yes their sushi rolls seem to be very inexpensive(which is great) and their food is actually pretty decent. BUT the only thing I must complain about is that every time I come here they always 99.9% mess up on our order. The first time we came here I was with my boyfriend and some of our other friends and we got all our food and my boyfriend still didn’t get what he ordered. So we asked one of the waitresses and said she would check on it. Over 20 minutes passed and we were still waiting on his food and we asked another waitress and said it was never put it and they had to put in the order. Which stumped all of us because we literally waited almost an hour for a simple chicken teriyaki bento. And I felt so bad because all of us had finished eating our food and my boyfriend still hasn’t received his food yet. Another incident was when I came here with a couple of my girlfriends and we marked up the paper to hand to the waitress on what rolls and other food items we wanted. She even repeated the order to make sure we ordered the correct items. My girlfriends and I already got most of our food and we were just missing one more order of the stuffed jalapeño hand roll. So we didn’t think much of it as we thought they were still making it. But then 20 minutes passed and finally my girlfriend asked if they were gonna bring it out soon. The waitress asked if we wanted to order it… when we already specifically ordered it. So my girlfriend said we had put in the order but she told them nevermind and to cancel the order because we already finished most of our food. Another time i came here with a party of 5 I have to admit it was pretty late it was like 9pm but they closed at 10pm so we were like okay, theyre still open lets go eat here. We come by and the place is packed so we didn’t mind waiting… but the host or one of the staff told us that they were full and said they weren’t accepting groups of 4 or more anymore because they were gonna close soon? Idk it was weird because there was only 5 of us and it was only 9pm… a whole hour before they would close. So we just left and ate elsewhere. The food is decent here, but their service definitely needs to improve.

I love sushi and this was the only few that were near by so I decided to check it out. As soon as we walked it, we were seated. There was a bit of a language barrier with our server. We asked if there was happy hour but she couldn’t understand so we just ordered regular items and didn’t even bother. We ordered gyoza which came with 5 pcs. It tasted like the frozen ones you can buy and make at home. We also ordered 2 of their rolls being tiger roll and sensual roll which were alright. I’ve definitely had better sushi than this. Idk if I’ll be back again. I’d rather drive a bit further for great quality sushi. But if your fine with basic sushi I guess this is the place for you.

I love todos! All the chefs are so nice and friendly Ramon and Luis are the best! And David is great too! I come here so often I feel it’s weird to write a review but I had really great service tonight by our server Christine. She recognized us as regulars and was on top of everything we wanted to order. It was really nice because usually the waitresses here don’t really pay attention but she was great and on top of everything. Thanks Christine! See you next time! Ps the soju is delicious and cheap The sushi is great I recommend Alaskan, eel avocado, sensual pleasure, and albacore tempura! The special edamame is so good always get it as a starter! Love Todos!

Tried this place out during lunch for the first time this week. I can honestly say it did not disappoint. The place was pretty spacious and we were seated right away. The husband and I each ordered a lunch plate plus a roll. I got the kalbi plate which came with rice, salad, miso soup and fried tempura shrimp and some vegetables. The husband ordered the chicken katsu plate. We also got a spicy tuna roll and a Star Wars roll. Now my husband doesn’t usually like cooked rolls but he enjoyed the Star Wars roll. Everything is reasonably priced and I will be coming back again soon :)

3 words: spicy seafood salad. It is seriously so tasty. It’s a bed of lettuce topped with their spicy dressing and tons of random pieces of sashimi! It feels like a mist from the sea with some bites from the vegetable garden. If you’re someone who likes to eat those bowls of chirashi, then this would be a nice alternative to get if you want to replace the rice with something with more of a crunch. I would honestly just go there and order the salad. It’s a decent price for just how much fish you get. I don’t remember much about the rolls because they did not impress me. The service also not top notch, or any notches at all really. So go ahead, hop in your car and order some spicy seafood salad!

It was ok. I probably won’t go again anytime soon. They have a «sensual pleasure» roll… it had Krab Salad… my buddy ordered it. I hate Krab salad, or for that matter Krab… it should be permanently banished from any place that considers itself a sushi restaurant. Krab was invented in Japan because king crab is so frikkin expensive over there no one could afford it, so they made a pudding out of pollack, and added some crab flavoring and extrude it into strips that look like crab meat… sort of… ackkkkk!!! The bulgogi dinner(Korean/Japanese sushi place) was decent… overcooked, but it came with salad, soup, three pieces of tempura, a healthy dose of meat that was well flavored and white rice… can’t really complain about that for $ 13.00. My buddy was drinking sake bombs… tells you what he knows about Japanese food. Karen(sp?) our initial server was very cute, and quick with service, but she split early and the server that took over was not as on the ball. Neighborhood joint that might hit the spot for a quick lunch is about the best I can say about it. Not one Asian sushi chef on the line, and that says a lot!

Yeah, I’ll admit it. I’ve been living nearby for decades but never tried this place out. Yeah, sure, I’ll go as far as the Bay Area to try some Zagat rated sushi but won’t stop by to try the local version. Very snotty of me, huh? Punch me in the arm, why don’t ya? Well, now. The fam and I were in the mood and decided to stop by. It was a crowded house, with folks seated outside. So, we sat at the far end of the sushi bar and were met with friendly Sushi Chefs. The folks working the joint were very busy but still managed to be approachable and helpful. The sushi chefs weren’t Asian but that didn’t bother us, we’ve had good Asian food created by non-Asians for many years now. It helped I knew a little Spanish, though. :) I gotta say, the rolls were well made and priced to the point it wouldn’t hurt your credit card much if you ordered extras. My kid loved his katsu chicken bento box and practically inhaled it all, a good sign of tastiness. Parking can be hit or miss on busy nights. You’re competing with Carl’s Jr. and the surrounding office buildings for a spot. All in all, it was a decent visit. I liked the service, quality of food and ambiance. The green mural on the large interior wall looked like a can of Arizona Green Tea with ginseng. :) I’ll be back soon.

I have been coming to Todo’s for years & love it! Customer service is great(although sometimes slow). My boyfriend & I came here on a Friday night & the line was out the door. We were seated at the sushi bar & the seating is extremely tight so I recommend asking to sit at a table. With the ginger & wasabi, they gave us a mini spicy seafood salad on the house! Mini spicy seafood salad — On the house!!! Yum, but super spicy! Caterpillar Roll — Good! Eel & a fat slices of avocado on the top. Star Wars Roll — Cannot go wrong with a deep fried roll with cream cheese, plus spicy tuna! I highly recommend this roll! Sensual Pleasure Roll — This roll is exactly that, sensual. If you are a fan of scallops, order this. Awesome Roll — Cannot forget to order a baked roll! The salmon melted in my mouth! Jalapeño Bombs — Tempura fried cream cheese in a sliced jalapeño. On the house!!!

This place is a nice little hidden gem. I came in to grab some quick lunch in between meetings. I didn’t even know this place existed but some coworkers mentioned how tasty the sushi was. It can get a little busy during lunch time but there was plenty of room at the sushi bar. The reason I like this sushi spot is because they have an all day«happy hour» on certain rolls: 50% off dine in, 40% take out. The sushi was tasty and at that price VERY affordable. Service is great and quick as well. You can also sit outside on their patio. I highly recommend this sushi place especially for someone who is looking for a great deal.

I love going here! The workers are always so attentive, friendly and they are fast! They have indoor and outdoor seating and I usually go outside because inside could get a little stuffy because of how small it is. They have many options but I usually go to their half off menu and even all the other options have good pricing and the fish is fresh. I usually get the Karen roll which is a sushi roll with raw salmon, cream cheese, avocado, and smoked salmon on top. soooooooo yummy. I also get the crunchy tempura roll, and stuffed jalapenos! All A+ for me.

Todo was just A-OK. We’ll do the bad first then the good. Right when we walked in, the floors were so slippery it felt like I was on skates, we could literally slide on them… definitely a safety hazard. We were seated and after a few minutes, we were ready to order, but no one was around, until my girlfriend waved the order paper in the air to get some attention. All in all, the four of us ordered 8 rolls, but only received 6. There was some mix up, and we just ended up not getting the two missing rolls. The servers were nice and friendly and all, but they weren’t attentive. The good — the sushi was delicious and fresh! I was very satisfied with how everything tasted. The presentation of the sushi was another plus, neat and visually appealing. The Sweet Hawaiian roll($ 7.50) was probably my favorite from today, just the right sweetness and a little spicy from the spicy mayo. The best part was the price, super cheap for quality sushi! Salmon roll — $ 3.50, Star Wars roll — $ 7.00. Most of their special rolls and maki rolls are 50% all day! Today’s service was poor, but I’m hoping that’s not the norm. I can see myself coming back again!

Such horrible service here… We got seated quickly. Once we have chosen what we wanted to order, it took probably 15 minutes for the servers to notice us. We even had to raise our menu in the air so they could take our order. We ordered a total of 8 dishes with one appetizer. Only 6 came out with the appetizer. They all came out at a decent amount of time. But the last two did not come out until we had to ask again. I guess they forgot about one of the orders and the server just didn’t even put it on the order for the other. I was extremely irritated especially after waiting that long to just place an order. Also, there was an annoying fly that kept buzzing around our table. How annoying and disgusting! However, the food was good and the prices were cheap. That was the only highlight of the dinner. Maybe it was just a bad night for all the workers? I hope…
