Alkaline water is sold here. I bring my 5– & 3– gallon jars and refill them here. I always get a hand lading my bottles into my car. Highly recommend !

Everyone’s review is spot on. I’m picky about my water and Tiki’s has great tasting water. I haven’t tried the alkaline water myself but I’ll have to try it and review it soon. (My uncle is a fan of it, though.)
We’ve been going to Tiki’s since before the change in ownership. The former owner was good but Kevin is great! I look forward to seeing him because he makes an effort to build a relationship with his clientele. I rarely see people just walk in and get water. Kevin naturally interacts with his customers even for just the few minutes we’re there to fill up our water jugs.

While the benefits of alkaline water are certainly nice, that wasn’t the reason I came to Tiki’s Water Store this past weekend. My church was holding a Filipino fiesta, and our six large multi-​gallon jugs needed to be filled. Seeing how it would’ve taken a lot more time and money to fill each jug individually at an outdoor water vending station (like at Albertson’s/Vons), off to Tiki’s!
What I like about the place is that not only do they have multiple reverse osmosis water faucets to fill your bottles, they also have a prerinse station to make sure they were clean inside. And, when I needed help putting the bottles in my car, the owner was kind enough to help load them in! Any store owner that’s willing to go the extra mile for their customers definitely gets more points in my book.
Great product, great service… I can see why Tiki’s has been around for 17 years, and as long as they continue to offer the same great water at these prices ($ 15 for 6 large bottles), I can see them going for at least 17 more! Keep supporting those local small businesses, folks!

I’ve been drinking Alkaline water for the past year and I feel the benefits. If you don’t know, look it up and do your research. Their Alkaline water is only $ 1 a gallon! That is the cheapest you will find in San Diego. Most places charge $ 2-​$ 3 dollars a gallon. It’s easy to find water stores, but very scarce to find a store with Alkaline water by the gallon.
If you don’t have any water jugs, don’t sweat it! He has hundreds of different types, from sport bottles, to 5 gallon jugs and BPA options are avaiable.
Kevin, always helps me to refuel my gallon jugs with Alkaline water. Tiki Water has been in business for 17 years now and not too many people know about this gem. I’m sorta afraid to let this secret out ;)

The water is perfect and Mr. Tiki gets an A+ for customer service! I usually have my toddler with me so he always fills my water and brings it to the car for me so I don’t have to take my son out of his seat. My mom goes here too for the Alkaline water. She is disabled and Tiki ALWAYS gets her bottles, fills them, and puts them in her car. He’s the best and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for water.

A review for a water store? Why yes, they certainly deserve a raving review! Before I knew about this location I drove to Carlsbad to get alkaline water for my family. Pure water is a big thing for me now because I have seen the health benefits just by changing from tap water to RO and alkaline water. My family has been having terrible eczema. Mostly my husband and daughter would get terrible eczema and rashes despite everything I did for them. I changed their diets, I switched everything in our house to no fragrance and catered for sensitive skin, no parabens, no gluten, no gmo’s, … You name it I did it. I also treated them with acupuncture and Chinese medicine which theoretically should also be working. So as I scratch my head in bewilderment wondering what I missed I finally realized that San Diego water is terrible and should not be drinking or bathing in tap water. Enter Lifesource water systems and RO into our house and wow has everything changed. My daughter and my husband no longer have bouts with eczema and to take it a step further I get alkaline water from tiki water. Even tho I have RO system, and new filters, it doesn’t quite give stellar tds readings. (Yes I am one of those geeks with TDS readers). Anyhow when I test my RO it registers at 30 ppm. Which is acceptable for drinking water, however when I go to tiki water, their readings off my TDS is much better– always at 15−25ppm. That’s even more pure from dissolved elements. The only other thing I can think of to get a pure tds reading of 0ppm is if I get distilled water. And let’s be serious, it’s not good to drink distilled water, because it has absolutely no dissolves elements/​minerals and in my opinion isn’t suitable to drink. Because you’ve stripped all the natural elements. I mean unless the water source has toxic organic compounds or heavy metals that isn’t eliminated by RO, then probably better to drink distilled. Ahhh, I can go on and on.
Anyhow back to the company that is tiki water. They are fantastic. The gentlemen who runs the place is absolutely the sweetest man. He take my empty plastic jugs from my car and fills them for me and returns them to my car. The only heavy lifting I need to do is when I get back home. But most cases I just wait for my strong hubby to come
Home to get it out for me anyway. Tiki water is your source for pure healthy, delicious water. Do yourself a favor and come get the alkaline water. Google about the health benefits and once you try it like I did and see how it benefits your health over time, you’ll do it too.

I’m a big fan of alkaline water. The health benefits are numerous. If you are not familiar with why you should be drinking it, google it. I was trying to find someplace that had inexpensive alkaline water and this is your spot? $ 1 per gallon (normally $ 2), worth every penny and right by my house. Score!

I recently moved to New York from San Diego and this was my go-​to water store. The quality of the tap water in New York is pretty great and tastes awesome, but in San Diego the quality of the tap water is gross. The cheaper priced vending machines that claim to filter the water do not compare to the taste and filtration system at Tikis Water. Best of all, I recently came back on vacation and found out that they have ALKALINE WATER! I’m excited about this because I’ve been hearing about the benefits of alkaline water for a long time and it is great that the people in Mira Mesa can get alkaline water locally. Make sure to check out Tikis Water! Especially because the owner is super friendly and helps my mom and I load the water into our car.

Tikis Water Store is a pretty humble setup with a wicked reverse osmosis filtration system, which produces a pretty good tasting water.
Ive been drinking tap water for a few years and finally made the switch after reading numerous articles on the toxic tap water here in California.
The owner just rolled out with a new prepaid water plan (cash only), and it becomes even more affordable (example: pay $ 50 get 100 +15 gallons)
The owner is a pretty cool dude and I definitely will continue to get my water from Tikis

Awesome water here. The reverse osmosis process definitely makes the water have a unique taste. Some love it some don’t. I’m just glad this place does and it’s right by where I stay. Owner is a nice guy. Will assist if you have plenty of jugs to refill. Try Tiki’s out and taste the difference.

When I used to live in the Bay Area, I went to a store like this for water. When I moved to San Diego, I’ve been going to Ralphs water machine thing outside the store… My aunt told me about this store, Tikis Water. My wife and I tried the water test (tasted water from tikis, tap and the water from the ralphs machine…) Tikis has a difference and you can taste the difference!
It can be pricey but well worth it.

This is my first time going to a water store and never knew i could afford 7+$ for a gallon of water. 40 cents for a refill and the owner shows you what he got to run his business. This is the closest place to my home and its so much worth the trip. For the people in mira mesa who wants to buy water, this is the place. Almost forgot, you only have to pay by cash.

Since i live close by and i hate those home water filters (brita and such) I always fill up my water at Tiki. Its affordable, fast, and the water tastes good.
