Students in Spencer’s Vocal Studio focus on the following:
**Good vocal health — breath control, posture and appropriate vocal placement
**Communicating — phrasing, dynamics, lyric interpretation and acting through the song
**Singing varied literature — Broadway, Classical and Pop/Rock music are all utilized to create opportunities to work on #1 & #2
**Specialized curriculum — Whether you are preparing for your next production, college auditions or to sing at a specific event — students’ goals are incredibly important to developing an individualized curriculum

Students have been placed in some of the best musical theatre colleges and universities in the nation including: University of Michigan, Carnegie Mellon University, Northwestern University, Rider University, Elon University, and Texas State University
Meet the Manager
Spencer W.
Manager
Spencer is a composer, educator, director, and producer. Spencer co-wrote and produced a developmental reading of ‘For Tonight’ at the 2014 New York Musical Theatre Festival; a hit that sold out and extended. ‘For Tonight’ was also a recent finalist in the New Horizons Music Festival and was also produced as a staged reading at Goodspeed Musicals’ New Works Festival in January 2015. This fall he will be traveling to the Isle of Man to direct For Tonight at TheatreFest ’15 — the UK concert première. For Tonight will also première at Michigan State University’s iMAgen program in October 2015. «One Step (Don’t Forget Me)», was just a Top 12 finalist in the ‘Drewe & Stiles Best Song Award’ and was performed in the West End, at the Garrick Theatre, in May 2015. Spencer conducted two choirs at Pinewood School in Los Altos Hills, CA where he was the Performing Arts Director.
