We are centrally located in the heart of downtown 1 block away from the court house and offer Notary, Certifix Live Scan, an inkless electronic fingerprinting service, USPS mailing, Passport photo, U.S. and international, and much more.

…I’m not even sure I was here. That’s how good (?) it was.
I walked in with a purpose: GOTTA SHIP THIS BOOK BEFORE I HAVE TO PAY LATE FEES.
I was immediately greeted by the only visible employee: «Morning! What can I do for ya?» Told the employee that I needed to ship the book off — I have the the book and the shipping label.
They said «Here, just put everything down and I’ll take care of it». I put my stuff down. I paid. They took everything and said «have a nice day!»…that’s it? That’s all I had to do? Good gracious… was I ever even here?
That’s how good it was. About two days later I got a notification saying that my book rental was received. SWEET.

The staff here is amazing, I have been stuck in a few binds with my po box while out of town and they have gone the extra mile each time to take care of the issues (that were my fault). They also respond extremely fast to all inquiries. If you need a secure location for mail in Madison, I cannot imagine a better place.

I bought a few items that I really needed to ship today. I walked down to this UPS location which is only .3 miles away from my job. I wasn’t really sure on how I would be doing this or how much it would cost me because one item was for return, plus neither of my items were boxed nor ready to go. First thing I noticed is that their store is REALLY organized, great displays! Next, their staff is super friendly and she immediately made me feel comfortable with not knowing what to do with all my stuff. I basically dropped everything on the counter, she weighed them out, organized them with the shipping slips, and I payed less that $ 20 dollars for everything to go! She said they would take care of the rest, which was the packing of the items and putting the slips and whatever else they do. I walked out of there feeling like 50lbs lifted off my shoulders.

I had to return a package last minute and had no printer to print a label. I was passing by this area and saw the store. I walked in and asked how I could print a label off a computer email. They charge .99 a minute to use their computer and somewhere along the lines of 10 cents a copy (around that price but not exactly). The label itself was prepaid so that cost me nothing. I paid about $ 1.10 total for the computer and print out. Service was efficent and quick. I can’t complain about much and IF I needed to ship something back and I am in this area I would use them again.

These guys are very helpful and the notary is clutch when needed at the last minute, however the $ 1/​page fax rate needs to go… as probably most fax machines need to as well.

Went for a passport photo. $ 15.00. Clearly taking advantage that they are close to the passport office and people will go their last minute, with little option. They lost a customer. Other places charge around $ 8,00.

Service was not terrible. I would say that the employees here do not seem very enthusiastic about their job. I was able to return a textbook here within seconds. The associate behind the counter put the book into a packaging slip ready for ship out. The total cost was around $ 3. Very fast!

Nobody here seems to like their job. Not very helpful and kind of rude. I would probably blame the owner or management. Typically when the majority of the employees are unhappy there’s a reason for it. I feel bad, but at the same time I’m spending money and would like to be greeted with a smile and a «hello, good morning» instead I just got awkward stares and a sigh when I walked in. I hope management does something to encourage their employees and makes them enjoy coming to work a bit more. I know it’s Monday but life’s short and all these people seem miserable. On another note, Joseph assisted me and he was very nice! I appreciated him very much, he seemed to be in a good mood :) If it wasn’t for him I’m not sure I would of gave three stars

These guys are the best, I constantly deal with issues from FedEx, whether rude customer service or missing packages. But every single time I have to go into UPS they are the friendliest bunch of people ever! I will go out of my way to go into this store and avoid fedex!

Slow service. All I needed was a receipt for a pre-​labeled package. I walked in just behind people who needed passport photos. The woman behind the counter, Kacy, asked me of I needed a receipt, I said yes (I have dropped off a package at another UPS without getting a receipt and the package never made it to the destination, I had to eat the $ 100 return). She proceeded to have me wait for about 10min while she did passport photos until scanning and printing my receipt which took all of 30seconds. Poor time management. Frustrating. Other places will just scan real quick in between doing other things. Also parking is a major pain. Not at all convenient or quick.

The workers are liars who want to steal your money!
I wanted to edit a passport photo to get rid of a shadow in the background and print it out.
The woman with short hair said that I should just pay $ 14 to get it done with them; however, it’d only cost me $ 2 to edit and print the photo I took myself. I chose to edit it on a computer there and pay to print it there myself, and she said I could try to see if it’d work. (She wasn’t happy.)
When I finished editing, I asked the female Asian worker to help me use their standard photocopy printer to print out the photo, but when she saw I wanted to print a passport photo, she refused and said I had to pay $ 14 to get my picture taken and done on their «special printer.»
She said she can tell, despite looking at the computer from 20 feet away, that the passport agency won’t accept my photo, and that it’s the wrong size, even though I specifically measured it according to the 2×2″ standard, with the face being over 1 inch. I told her the measurements are correct, and then she told me that I needed to use special ink for the agency accept it. Then the woman with short hair said «I already told him all this.» LIAR!
Instead, I took went to PostalAnnex+ and despite having the same $ 14 deal for passport photos, they were friendly and more than willing to help me. They even printed my picture on two different papers to try to get the best color for the photo on their standard photocopy printer. It only cost me $ 2.30.
Lo and behold! The passport agency accepted the photo I printed on a standard photocopy printer — and my sizing was correct, and I didn’t have to use a any «special ink.»
Avoid this UPS unless you like to be robbed and lied to. Go to PostalAnnex+ instead, where they are friendly and treat you with respect!

I would write a review on how horrible this place is… But it’s not worth my time. Just don’t go here. All the workers are cunts. I don’t know why they claim to not be a part of UPS but their storefront clearly says «The UPS Store». They try their best at stealing your money! Horrible service. Horrible business. Horrible PERIOD!

I had a pair of shoes that I wanted to return to a large on-​line seller. It was the first time I had ever returned something. I went to the seller’s website, printed out the label for their shipping partner, UPS, and as directed, took it to the UPS Store that was down the street from my office.
I entered the store went to the cash register. Good sign I thought. No one in front of me I will not have to wait. The clerk looked at me, said, I’ll be with you in a minute, and then continued doing what I don’t know. Finally he came over and said can I help you? I told him I wanted to return this pair of shoes and I had printed out the return slip.
The individual asked if I wanted to buy a box to put the shoes in for shipping. (They had been shipped to me in a shoebox and I was returning them inside their original shoebox). I said no. I said if he wanted to give me one of the UPS plastic shipping bags I would use that. He pulled out a shipping bag and said I have this but I have to charge you for it. I told him I was returning the shoes and had no intention of spending money to return them. He said fine and put the shipping label on the original shoebox.
I asked if he would like to tape the one side of the box where I had opened it. He said he would have to charge for tape. (What was strange was that I think if I hadn’t said anything he would have taken the box as is. The shoes would have fallen out of the box the first time the box was thrown into the back of a truck.)
I told him I would walk back to my office, get some tape and return. He didn’t seem to care one way or the other.
I walked back to the office, taped the box and returned. They gave me a dirty look. Trust me. I will never go back to this place again. The UPS store in my neighborhood would never had had this attitude. No Thank you.

Emily was very unpleasant and very rude. Apparently she must have been an orphan because no one taught her any manners. Came in to get some documents notarized and she wanted to charge us $ 10 each document and gave us an attitude.

I needed to get something notarized this afternoon and work a few blocks away, so I decided to walk over to the UPS store. Before heading out, I attempted to call the store to make sure a notary was at the store.
I dialed the number listed on their website and received a message stating «The voicemail box is full for this subscriber, you cannot leave a message.» I double checked the number and called again and got the same message. It sounded more like a cellphone than a business message.
I then walked down to the store and stood around for 10 minutes without any acknowledgement. I finally spoke to the clerk and asked if the notary was available. The clerk informed me that the notary would be in from 10 – 5. Since it was currently 9 am, I realized I would have to come back.
Around 2 pm I returned to the store to get my document notarized. Another clerk came up to me and I relayed that I needed notary services. This clerk tells me, «Just one second, I’ll get the notary.» Now, imagine my surprise when the notary who walks out is the SAME CLERK who told me the notary wouldn’t be in until 10 am. Apparently the woman I spoke to at 9 am doesn’t undergo her transformation into a notary until 10 am.
The level of unprofessionalism running rampant at this store is incredible. I tried to call the manager later this evening, but of course I was reminded that they DON’T HAVE A WORKING NUMBER. In an effort to reach a remedy, I called UPS Corporate (because every location is privately owned). They told me they were sorry, but that there was nothing they could do about it. Needless to say, I don’t recommend visiting this UPS location.

The parking situation is a nightmare. It will easily cost over $ 5 for a quick stop because they make it impossible to get in or out of the garage. You will spend almost all of the time walking to your destination and then trying to get back to your car. It would be easier to find street parking.
And the staff? Completely unfriendly, absolutely unwilling to help you or explain anything. And lastly, they have a notary who refuses to actually notarize anything.
This place is terrible.
