We offer California EMSA approved classes that meet the training requirement for California licensed Home Child Care, Preschools, After-​school Care, Adult Care Providers and Foster/​Adopting Parents. However, everyone is welcome!

The Training Source is owned by Catherine Hayes Hicks and has been a California EMSA certified training program since September, 1996.

My name is Catherine Hayes Hicks and I have been teaching health and safety classes in San Diego since 1989. I was a Program Director for a large training program for the American Red Cross until 1995 and then started the Training Source in 1996 to meet the demand for California AB243 approved classes. I have been teaching now for over 20 years and still love it!
