Established in 2013.

The Photog Box was founded in 2013 by Stephen Alberts and Vic Alavi.

Stephen has a wedding videography business that gave him the opportunity to see many photo booths throughout San Diego. While filming, he noticed which photo booths provided the best experience, and which ones fell short. Vic has an extensive background in photography and wanted to bring his skills as a portrait photographer to elevate the photo booth experience.

Together, they decided to create their own photo booth company bringing together flattering portrait photography, with top notch customer service. Using actual photographers and top of the line equipment as the formula for success, The Photog Box is poised to become the premier photo booth service in the area.

I am a professional videographer based in Southern California. My years in broadcast television, corporate video, and wedding films have enabled me to take my experience and passion into building my own business. I won four Emmy Awards in the last two years for my promo editing, I am hoping to bring great service and panache to the photo booth experience.
