What more can I say, Gan is like a maestro bringing together all the body so that it sounds, moves and functions like it should. When I first started seeing Gan I was extremely tight with very little flexibility now I am looser with a very increased range of flexibility and I have Gan to thank. So if you want your body tuned and running like it’s meant to then this is the place to get your bodywork!

Found this place on living social and it did not disappoint. My massage therapist was friendly and did amazing work. I left feeling so relaxed and my neck feels so much better. She was able to rub out my knots and smooth out the tension. This is definitely a great little spot to get a massage!

This was my first ever Thai massage. Gan is truly a warm, kind, and gifted healer. I have had chronic back pain for years… And woke up today slightly sore from the vigorous massage… however my back is PAIN FREE. If I weren’t on vacation in SD I would see her on a regular basis. If you are looking for deep tissue, pain relieving massage… Gan is your girl.

If you want to experience a quality Thai massage then you must see Gan! I have a Sports Injury Mgmt and Kinesiology background, so having a therapist who is adequate in the knowledge of the muscle skeletal system is a plus. Gan’s technique and ability to relieve tension is absolutely amazing, the best massage I’ve ever experienced. I feel rejuvenated and less pain after every visit! As a new mom and dad, she accommodates me and my boyfriends schedule and see’s us in the late evening which is a big plus. Oh, and she’s so much more affordable than the big spas with mediocre therapists. Highly recommend.

Gan is one of the most talented Thai massage therapists I have ever experienced! Gan has the intuitive touch to not only feel where it hurts, but also the skill to know exactly how to massage and stretch out the gnarliest of knots. Plus, her prices are incredibly reasonable! Having had some 13 major back injuries and traumas since childhood, I’ve had my share of not so good massage therapists who can’t feel the body enough to know what to do without you telling them every 2 seconds… those kind of therapists can leave you feeling worse. Great massage for a great price! Gan has years of experience and does a combination of deep tissue Thai massage and swedish massage (which is awesome). She is a master at detecting knots and working them out with just enough pressure to do the trick… but not too hard or soft. After receiving a massage I started recommending her to my clients & have had nothing but positive feedback!

I heard about The Collection Massage & Spa from a friend who used to see Gran at a spa in Bird Rock and followed her when she opened her own practice in Hillcrest.
I get a lot of massages. From the high end NY Bliss and Burke Williams Spa stuff to the low end Chinese foot massage joints, here and abroad. I work a lot on the computer, I have knots all over my upper back and simply I hate when I get a weak massage. So when I heard about Gran I sought her out.
Gran — hands down gives THE BEST DEEP TISSUE MASSAGES IN SAN DIEGO!
I feel like she’s my little secret and I was conflicted when writing this review because I didn’t want everyone to know. But, I feel like it would be selfish of me not to share.
She gave me a one hour Thai and Swedish combo massage and zeroed in on every knot in my back. And I felt so amazing after 100% revitalized! The tension and stiffness in the my back was relieved and could move again with ease!
