Sheri is absolutely amazing. She was the first (and only) person we met with when looking for a wedding day photographer; we instantly felt comfortable with her personality and style during our first meeting and decided to book her for our wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum. We ended up booking an engagement shoot as well (so happy we did!), in order to practice for the day of.
I am usually not a fan of being in front of the camera, but she is calm and makes you feel comfortable while she is doing her magic. We had our engagement shoot at Sumner Canyon near UCSD, and she was a trooper hiking up and through the canyon after having done a wedding earlier in the day. Our engagement shoot felt like we were just hiking and taking in the scenery, which was perfect since we love to do this as a couple; we had a blast with Sheri finding spots to stop along the trail. This very natural approach definitely came through in our pictures, which are absolutely gorgeous. We cannot thank her enough for the beautiful photos; the style, textures, and detail in each shot still blows me away — she is incredibly talented. In addition, Sheri was also very flexible in changing our engagement shoot day, which was greatly appreciated.
On our wedding day earlier this month, Sheri and her second shooter, Jill, made us feel comfortable before and during the wedding. Both were extremely professional and fun to work with; my husband enjoyed having Jill take his «getting ready» shots, while Sheri was an absolute joy to have while I was getting ready with family and friends. One of my favorite moments from our wedding was going down to the beach/​pier with Sheri for our husband/​wife portraits; it was fun playing near the water for a second and to have some time to ourselves.
Thank you again for your amazing work Sheri! We are both very excited to see our wedding day photos, and hope to book additional sessions in the future.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for Tangerine Tree Photography. This is long overdue.
I have worked with them twice in the past 2 years. I first encountered Tangerine Tree through Unilocal.I found their website and instantly fell in love with their style. I was looking for a photographer to take pictures for a birthday celebration at Joshua Tree. Sheri and Erik seemed perfect for the event.
They are both so professional, easy to communicate with, and not to mention FUN! They took amazing shots of our friends and us at the event. These photographers are all of the above, but more than that, they are TALENTED. I mean, really. I can’t even describe how beautiful our pictures turned out.
Recently, I booked a boudoir photoshoot with Sheri. I could not even begin to tell you how comfortable it was to be around Sheri. I don’t think I could have posed that way if it weren’t for her. She is AMAZING.
I highly recommend Tangerine Tree Photography! I am pretty sure we will keep working with them in the future.

Quite a dynamic duo. I have had the pleasure of working with Tangerine Tree Photography on numerous occasions and have always been pleased with & excited by their work. I am a makeup artist, so I get to work with them behind the scenes.
It’s always wonderful to watch other artists at work. Sheri and Eric are truly artists. They are passionate about what they do, and will work harder and longer than anyone else out there. I have seen them in action!

Tangerine Tree Photography is amazing! I had pictures taken of my boyfriend and I and they came out beautiful. The Photographers Sheri and Erik are a couple so cute!, I love their story of the two of them being in love and that inspires there pictures and allows them to capture others love, you can really see this through their pictures! They made everything super easy, and Sheri is so creative every picture came out amazing I have received so many compliments on all the pictures. I can’t say enough about what a positive experience it was but when the day comes for me to tie the knot Tangerine Tree Photography will be there!

If you’re looking for photographers to capture your life, love and personal style, look no further. Tangerine Tree’s passion for art and photography collides on film, and the outcome is amazing. They use color in the most beautiful ways, and make life POP in their portraits. Each of their photo shoots is individualized, personalized, and one-​of-​a-​kind. You won’t see the standard ho-​hum wedding portraits, or the cheezy prom engagement shots here — no way. Tangerine Tree is hands down the best around, I’ll never look for another photographer after working with them.
I have worked with Erik and Sheri in a few different settings. First, they did a shoot with my husband and I for our Christmas cards. We loved the photos so much, arguably more than our wedding pictures! But the ultimate challenge came when we asked them to do an outdoor shoot with our dogs… which (much like children) are highly unpredictable and so tough to capture! But not for these guys… they knew every trick in the book and we ended up with the best «family portraits» ever!

Sheri and Erik shot my wedding and have taken pictures for us and friends of ours many times since. Not only did they make our wedding look unbelievable in a difficult, backlit location, they just worked their butts off the entire time. They love what they do and it shows!
I’d give them 6 stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and make sure you visit with them before deciding on a photographer for your event. Your special day only comes once so make sure you trust it to someone who can deliver!

My wife and I used Tangerine Tree for our engagement photos after envying the pics that our friends got. We met Sheri and her husband Eric downtown and had an amazing experience. Sheri did a great job of catching us at our most relaxed, and the pictures were just unbelievable. I have one up on my desk at work, and I get compliments constantly; most people think it’s something out of a magazine. I can’t recommend Tangerine Tree enough; they really did a fantastic job, and we’ve used them multiple times over the past year.
