Our experienced, extremely friendly RNs passionately pursue optimal results for clients receiving Botox, Dysport, Radiesse, or Juvederm injections, cooltouch or IPL laser treatments, skin tag removal, laser hair removal, or body contouring, and Derm-​Micropens. Our licensed estheticians deliver expert waxing, facials, peels, and microdermabrasion treatments, and our expert stylists offer Japanese hair straightening, keratin treatments, color and highlights, haircuts, and styling services.

History

Established in 2005.

Syner-​Chi was founded by the Nguyen sisters, who wanted to create synergy by combining Medical Spa services and licensed aesthetic care. Their goal? A unique menu of excellent, affordable skin, hair and body treatments at prices affordable to their San Diego friends and neighbors. Today, licensed aesthetician Mymy Nguyen continues to own and operate the salon, working side-​by-​side with her team of highly skilled, friendly RNs and other beauty professionals.

First time here and I got a facial. Mimi was highly recommended by a coworker. It was the best facial I ever had. She was very thorough and spent a lot of time with me. It was a little uncomfortable but that’s because she was getting really deep into my pores. Other facials I have received in the past never left my face feeling really clean. Thank you Mimi!

Excellent! I have been to board certified plastic surgeons for my botox and fillers, but Katia at SynerChi does a better job! Amazing work and no pain. I feel so much younger I not only had her do the botox, but she used Voluma in my cheeks and amazing results. I am very thin and my face is boney, but the Voluma changed that. She was meticulous about the way injected it and I felt very comfortable with her making my face look so much younger! The spa has by far the best pricing on all their products. Julie is super nice too! Great place I would recommend it everyone and they are open 7 days a week to accommodate people not many places do that.

This is my first time at SynerChi and most likely my last. I have been doing botox for years and have never had a problem or a reaction until now. The staff at Synerchi was very nice. The only thing is the nurse kept calling me every name except my actual name. She was very gentle and in fact i didnt even feel her inject me. Two days after my botox I noticed sweeling under my eyes, more on my left. Under my eye was sore and very hot to touch. It has now been 3 days and the swelling has gotten worse and not improved at all. I called SynerChi yesterday and julie said she has never seen swelling under the eye from botox and suggested it might not be fromt he botox. I will update this review once i see a change.

I went back today for Micropen and I think Carla was the name of the nurse that took care of me today. She was awesome! She took really good care of me and she was so friendly. Excellent bedside manner! And I’m definitely coming back for more treatment here. Thank you Carla!

This was my first time to this medical spa a couple of days ago. They were efficient, friendly and professional. My treatment was with Katya and I felt that she had more experience than the doctors that I had seen before. She took her time and
explained everything that she was doing

Been coming here for laser hair removal. Got really good results and paid for the package deals. They’re prices are going up in February FYI. If you’re getting laser treatment you have to set up your first appointment with the NP for an evaluation and all other appointments after are a lot faster. I’ve been here 5 times now and 4 out of the 5 times they have been running behind schedule. But the actual laser treatment is quick. It is $ 5 for lidocaine pint so I would suggest buying your own and applying it at home.

As a 24 year old the thought of getting fillers can be very intimidating. I’ve had hereditary unsymmetrical indentations on my cheek bones since a child and For years have felt extremely insecure about them. I have considered fillers for a long time but always back out because I was scared to mess with my face. I finally decided to make an appointment, the RN Catja was AMAZING. She answered my 1000 questions, made me feel so comfortable, even gave me cold packs to help relax me. The results turned out Exactly how I hoped for! So natural and exactly what I’ve dreamed of. If it’s something your considering don’t hesitate, you will be so happy with the results. Thank you Catja, you’re incredible and I feel beautiful!

Some say Disneyland is the best place on earth well to me it’s SynerChi! I have been going here for years and this posting is long overdue. I love this place so much I stop by just to say hi weekly. Everyone that works there is amazing and I’m obsessed with them. I have never had a bad service and let me tell you I’ve done just about everything you can do there. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and are trained by the best not to mention if you want the best facial of your life go see Mymy!!! I’ve send all my friends and many associates there and all of them were happy I did. You want to go somewhere you can trust that is the best??? Well the go to SynerChi Day and Med Spa. Thanks for keeping me looking fabulous ladies!!!

came here for my first Botox session and added on a B12 shot. Definitely nervous because I have a slight fear of needles but Michelle was so nice and understanding that when it came time to inject, my nerves were pretty calm. I was told Botox would show in about 7 to 10 days but 3 days later, I’m seeing great results! They weren’t pushy, didn’t try to sell me more units and were personable. I can’t wait to go back! Ask for Michelle, and remember to tip your nurses! ;)

The worst customer service ever! I have been going to this place for years. Recently I moved to Orange County but I was still going there whenever I was in town. I got a Botox appointment with Karla. But I didn’t see ANY result for 3 days till I call them. I called few times till finally Amanda, one of the nurses (she is good. I trust her work) called back. She told me to wait for 10 days. After 10 days still Zero result. I called and said that I can’t come since it over 200miles drive. I can send the picture, snap chat… They told me to send the pictures. Again no call back. I called again and no one knows what I’m talking about!
I did 6 calls since then and I got only one call back. They say you get what you paid for, but even if Syner Chi is 50% cheaper than other places, I expect to get 50% result and not Zero! I’m sure that I was injected with saline or super diluted Botox. But if the nurse is stealing the Botox why management don’t care to fix the bad job/​no job that has been done. Everyone tries to ignore an unsatisfied customer! Unless it’s the management who decide to use the diluted Botox?! They smile and take your money, but if there is any concern afterward no one cares to follow up. I have been on the phone with them for the last 12 days and no one cares. Horrible customer service. I may never back there.

I have mixed feelings about this past experience with Synerchi. I came in for my Microderm Pen appointment. It had been several years since my previous treatment, so I forgot what the process was like. Admittedly, I was 20 minutes late due to work (but I called and they said it was OK to come in) so it is partly my fault for what happened. However, here’s where the problem occurred: The Nurse and receptionist (the professionals in charge) forgot to remind me to wash off the numbing cream BEFORE my Microderm Pen treatment because they were too busy RUSHING the treatment.
Yes– this happened! The entire time I was freaking out while the nurse was freaking out. This is a laser to my face. HOLY $Hi7!!! What do you mean you OOPS!!! All I can say is THANK GOD I didn’t get a weird reaction due to the Nurse’s mistake. Ladies, wash your face after you put the numbing cream on BEFORE the treatment. The results were fine and I’m glad my face is still normal. (THANK GOD). NOTE TO THE BUSINESS: Synerchi, please train your nurses/​staff on this, STOP RUSHING, and take better care– especially it comes to your patient’s faces. Next time you might not be so lucky!

Wow I am so beyond stoked I found this secret spot! Amazing prices and great staff that over explain everything. They never push for the sale!!! If anyone has ever got Botox before, I’m sure they have felt the pressure from the staff to buy more then what they felt comfortable with. Not this place! Staff has a consultation with you before every appointment and I am always happy with my results and the PRICE! You can’t find better! Also I get my laser hair removal done here as well! Beyond a happy customer :) Must check this place out if you are considering Botox or laser hair removal.

Been going to Synerchi Day Spa since the beginning of February and I’ve been getting laser hair removal. I think all the employees are great, they all greet me with a welcoming smile and they actually converse with me about things in their own lives! I love the Vietnamese lady who just had a baby (I’m sorry I forgot your name!) Today was a strange day going from having an appt needing to be rescheduled, then cancelled and back on– however it was due to external factors such as a black out in San Diego that was pretty major to local businesses. Shout out to Serena for being awesome and squeezing me in today! She went out of her way to help! This is how you KNOW a company is amazing and loyal to their clientele.

As a grown man, it can be very intimidating to walk into a spa for Botox injections. I walked in and could feel my face burning with anxiety. This is my first experience having Botox done. After I talked to the receptionist, I was greeted by the Botox specialist, Lola. Within minutes, this woman had me completely at ease and excited for the procedures. I couldn’t be happier with the results! within 24 hours, my forehead wrinkles had almost completely disappeared! I felt no pain at all during the injections. Not only was the procedure awesome, but Lola’s sense of humor and her demeanor made the whole experience great. I also learned quite a bit from her about the injections and what I can realistically expect from them.
I don’t tell many people that I get these injections, but the few who know, will now being asking for her by name. Thank you Lola!
I can only assume that the management and the rest of the staff are as polite and wonderful as Lola. She is the kind of woman that rubs off on you and immediately makes you smile! See you for my next visit Lola!!!

Called to make an appointment and the woman that answered was not friendly at all. I have a tight schedule and when her only morning appointments wouldn’t work you could tell the exasperation in her voice. I know I’m not the only person that works a regular day job. Then telling me I had to give them my credit card number over the phone because I’d be charged $ 40 for a no show. I know I also can’t be alone when giving my cc information to a complete stranger with a company that I know nothing about sounds less than appealing. That being said, I have no qualms taking my business elsewhere.

My friend, colleague, and I all got lip injections done by their nurse Lola. Economical price but lack of quality in their product with no results after just a week.
I called to complain and they scheduled me a consultation with Lola to come back again.
She was showing me the box of Juvederm they store, but I never saw the box unsealed when I got the work done. She mentioned no ones complained before although I mentioned my friend and colleague’s results (lack of). She suggested that the distributer of Juvederm could have «done something to the product before the spa received it.» Lola didn’t even know the product is made in France.
All she said was sorry next time do two syringes contradicting her previous advice from when she first saw me.
It’s only been two weeks and my lips are back to normal. Waste of time and money.
Horrible service as she kept interrogating me about my lifestyle causing these results and didn’t offer any alternative.
Quality over quantity. Do NOT recommend. I will find a solution because this is unacceptable and the fact that three clients got the same procedure done and no results implies the product isn’t providing the promised results.
